Jago Gili Air is convenient and a great place to stay close to the harbour. It is clean and well maintained. The staff are the friendliest bunch we met during our 2 week stay (we stayed in 4 different hotels). The rooms are nice and cosy with big bathrooms. The pool is handy whenever we got too hot!

You can rent bikes for about 50k/day which was great and also you can arrange snorkel trips with them. It was a great snorkel trip where we saw 4 different areas around the Gili Islands and even saw turtles 3 times.

This is probably one of the best places to stay on the island. It’s really clean and modern with fresh water for the shower (I learned from others on the island that their hotels showers had salt water). The staff is very friendly and attentive. The pool is absolutely lovely…and they play the best music. They offer free filter water and good smoothies at a cost. You can also rent a bike from Jago, as it is the only way to get around the island besides walking. Enjoy your stay!

A wonderful choice of accommodation that delivers the essentials well. The rooms are comfortable, the vibe of the hotel is laid back, the pool is clean and the breakfast options are delicious!

Above all else, the owner and staff all go out of their way to ensure that you have the best possible stay. Winston, Cathy and crew (and Fluffy too), thank you!!

We booked a snorkelling excursion through the accommodation, and it did not disappoint. Winston arranged everything for us at short notice and the experience was worth every cent. They also have bikes for hire, and a selection of board games in the common area that are sure to keep everyone entertained!

The location is also convenient to the Gili Air Wharf, being a short walk up the main street to the property and is among many restaurant options.

One thing to note is that there is a mosque nearby and the call to prayer can be loud. This is no fault of the property and nor should it put you off from staying here. If you're a light sleeper, the property even offer complimentary ear plugs if required.

I would highly recommend Jago Gili Air - not only is it a comfortable stay, but the staff really make it a point of difference in making you feel very welcome.

Great place to stay!

Great place to stay. Clean, super friendly staff. A/C was great. Pool was nice! Location was good. They only serve breakfast at the moment, but several cafes and restaurants around (I can recommend Optimiz Prime, a local gem not too far from there with local food - delicious!). Another plug, go to Mama Pizza to watch the sunset!

Great central location along the Main Street on Gili Air. It can get a little noisy with the horse carts going past if you have a room closer to the street. Staff are very friendly and happily arranged a snorkelling tour for us, at a cheaper rate than advertised by all street vendors, which was excellent.

No frills, but clean, modern and in a great location.

Note that the Wi-Fi service in the rooms was often poor, and TV channels had no reception.

Great place & value. Highly recommend.

I've spent 3 weeks in Bali and this was the third, of six, properties I stayed at and by far was the best value.

While the room is minimal, its comfortable, clean and has everything you need. The property is small, which is a bonus, and all rooms are along either side of the great pool. Very relaxing and is conveniently located to walk anywhere on the island.

Its a short walk to where you arrive/depart the island, which is a nice bonus. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

I'd stay here again.

Jago Gili Air was a great place to stay. It’s conveniently located a short walk straight up for the dock so no long walk or horse & cart needed to drop off luggage. The pool was great to lounge around. The room and little front porch was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good.
It is close to the central mosque though so you will hear the call to prayer, quite loudly, 5 times a day starting somewhere around 5:30am.

LOVED our stay at Jago! Can't say enough good things about the place. Super clean, great pool, upscale decor and amenities. The A/C and wifi work perfectly. Only a few short steps from the harbor so you wont have to walk far with your luggage. Winston and the whole staff were incredible. Very friendly and attentive. We were given dinner recommendations which exceeded expectations, coupons for discounted yoga classes at nearby studios, and lots of local knowledge of the island. They have bikes to rent which is all you need to get around. The breakfast is extensive and very tasty. Would recommend to anyone and would absolutely stay again!

The rooms are comfortable with everything you need—if you need anything the owner and staff are supper quick and happy to help. Winston even gave us the number of a driver on Lombok. The pool was great after dusty cycling. The only downside was the 4am call to prayer, take advantage of the free earplugs.

The place to stay on Gili air !

Amazing place to stay, we loved our time here. The owner of the Hotel is so kind and caring for us during our stay. My husband and I both got food poisoning when we ate at another restaurant and he went above and beyond to help us to feel better, even going out to get us medication. If this hotel is available then STAY here, you won't regret it ! Fantastic location, fantastic pool, fantastic host !!!

Jago was superb. It was modern, clean, and had a lovely pool and surrounding area. A few mins from the beach walking, or rent a bike directly from jago. Downside, you can hear loud local announcements nearby.

We spend 3 nights here and enjoyed our stay. It's a brand new boutique hotel in center of Gili Air. It's about 10-15 min. walk from port area where a staff member came to meet us to help my wife carry her bag.

The interior and exterior of the room is modern, with a spacious bathroom and porch.

We like that the hotel provides free cold or hot drinking water on request. Breakfast is minimal focusing on western style only and doesn't offer allot of variety however they were happy to cook 'nasi goreng' (fried rice) for my wife per request.

The owner and staff are very friendly and always available from morning to the evening for any inquiries.

They also offer bicycle rental to guests but we found that the bike seats are really uncomfortable for a long ride exploring the island where you still have to walk half of the time as some of the roads are sand roads especially the one along the coast.

I'd recommend this boutique hotel for couples who are looking to spend some nights in Gili Air.

Vi hadde en villa med privat basseng og to soverom, to bad, kjøkken og stue. Nydelig design og veldig komfortabelt og rent. Felles bassenget var også bra med nok plass for alle og rent og pent. Midt i «hovedgaten» på Gili Air, kun en liten gåtur fra havnen, eventuelt en liten hest og kjerretur. Alle som jobbet der var smilende og hyggelige, alle veldig unge. Frokosten fikk vi i villaen, og det var mye godt å velge mellom. Vi reiste med to tenåringer og stedet var veldig egnet for oss. Anbefaler å bestille snorkletur fra hotellet, egen båt for oss en hel dag kostet 1.2 mill.

We had an amazing stay at Jago Gili Air. It is very centrally located, with many nice and good restaurants nearby, and only a 4 minute walk from the pier. The staff deserve the biggest compliments at this hotel. They made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.
The breakfast is good, and the coffee was actually the best we have had on the island.

The only major downside for us was the noise from the mosque several times a day, but also in the middle of the night starting from 4:45 AM. Because of this, we unfortunately experienced very little sleeping comfort. Of course, the hotel cannot do anything about this, but we would have liked to have read this earlier in the reviews, which is why I am mentioning it. If you are a light sleeper like me, I would not recommend staying at a hotel in this area.

Que dire... notre meilleur hôtel de ces vacances ! L’hôtel est extrêmement bien situé directement dans la rue principale à 5min. A pieds du port. Vous êtes accueilli comme des rois, les chambres sont nickels, vous ne manquerez de rien. Il y a la possibilité de faire des jeux de société, louer des vélo, e-bikes, boire un délicieux cocktail a la piscine ou regarder la tv dans votre chambre sur une smart tv. La salle de bain est spacieuse et propre. Il y a une fontaine d’eau potable pour vous servir d’eau a volonté et alors cerise sur le gâteau : le personnel est tout bonnement INCROYABLE ! Toute l’équipe est dévouée, seviable polie,... un vrai bonheur avec une mention spéciale pour Harry 😇
Les petits déjeuner sont également de très bonnes qualité avec un léger supplément pour un café en grain. Mais allez y les yeux fermés nous espérons tellement pouvoir revenir sur cette île magique et donc forcément dans cet hôtel ! Un tout grand merci a vous pour les 3 merveilleux jours que nous avons passé là.

Super hotel à 5 min à pieds du port (donc vous poubez facilement y aller même avec des valises).

Très bel hotel (bungalows autour d'une piscine).
Calme, et une piscine suoer agreable. Les petits déjeuner, les jus et cocktails sont bons et pas chers

Personnel très sympa et toujours là pour vous conseiller de bonnes adresses.

La mosquée est à 2min à pieds (on entend l’appel à la prière depuis la chambre), ce qui est normal pour une île musulmane.

Le bungalow n°1 est un peu trop proche de la \"rue\" ce qui fait qu'on entend un peu plus les allers et venus la journée, mais ce n'est pas très dérangeant

Fantastisk hotel med de sødeste medarbejdere. Meget opmærksomme og serviceminded. Dejlige værelser med lækkert badeværelse og skønneste bruser. Skøn morgenmad. Fint område med pool og have. Tæt på alting. Nemt fra havnen. 5 min opad hovedgaden. Der findes cykeludlejnimg på stedet.

Helpful staff, convenient location for dining, snorkeling or shopping, and delicious breakfast with many choices.
The rooms are small enough for those who don't spend a lot of time in the room, and there is plenty of water pressure, hot water, and desalinated water. If you plan to enjoy a series of outdoor activities in gili air, i recommend you to choose JAGO!

Proche du port, l’hôtel est vraiment très beau et apaisant. Les chambres sont très agréables, avec une grande douche.
Le petit déjeuner est excellent, je vous recommande les gaufres.
Mais ce que je souhaite vraiment mettre en lumière c’est la gentillesse du personnel. Ils sont absolument adorables, souriants, disponibles, à l’écoute… un grand bravo à eux !

Jago kan virkelig anbefales når man er på Gili Air

Gili Air og Jago var helt fantastisk! Kan virkelig anbefale å bo på Jago: hotellet er superkoselig, nydelig frokost og atmosfære, og veldig hyggelig betjening. Hotellet ligger også perfekt ifht alt annet på Gili Air: rett opp hovedgaten fra havnen som gjør det enkelt å finne frem (spesielt med kofferter), og så ligger det rolig til og fin gangavstand (700 meter) til stranda hvor man kan ligge hele dagen og se solnedgangen.
