Well located as walkable to everywhere. We had a family room which was disappointingly very different to the booking photos. We were in a basement and so had the noise of the tram, passers by and the apartment above which disturbed our sleep. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. City tax was £20 more per night than expected. This made the room at £250 night with no breakfast quite pricey. Front of house were professional but very unwelcoming and need to learn to smile!

This was a very conveniently located hotel, a short walk from the station. The staff were all very friendly. Room was a good size and pretty comfortable. There didn’t seem to be much noise outside or in the hotel, but this was a midweek stay in January.
Breakfast was fine, with a reasonable selection of cold and some hot choices.
Overall well worth the price.

I stayed in room 306. My shower leaked water all over the floor. Every day I had to use my shower sponge and towels to mop up the water. The rusted stain on the floor from the rubbish bin indicates that this issue has been happening for quite a while.

Getting my room cleaned was a challenge and the \"Please make up my room\" sign was a waste of time. The cleaner was very hard working but she had too many rooms to clean. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and gave me fresh towels on the days that my room was not cleaned.

The hotel is in a great location and if it wasn't for the shower and cleaning issues I would have enjoyed my stay and my room a lot more and would have rated my stay as excellent. I was given complementary late check out which I appreciated. I will stay there again

Clean, safe and friendly.staff. very easy and quick walk to central station, and also close to RLD and shopping streets. Good value, room was happily more modern than the hallways.

We stayed with a baby and the cot provided was decent quality and we were able to move out buggy and all our bags around the hotel comfortably.

Didn't try the breakfast as it was not much better value than eating out.

Overall very happy, enjoyable stays, would recommend.

If there is a choice of negative star, that’s the rating this hotel deserve. This hotel doesn’t even deserve a one star rating. Not even one staff in all shifts had been accommodating. They are all rude, the rudest people we have encountered. We reported Bathroom leaking and flooded, and they didn’t even offer to fix. In order to move you to another room, you will need to check out 11am and wait until 3pm to check in again even if you’re booked for 5 days. How stupid and inconvenient when it’s not your fault you were assigned a room in bad condition. We also lost passports and money, and they just shrugged off their shoulders. Will definitey not come back to this hotel and will not recommend.

Very comfortable and welcoming. An easy walk from the train station and surprisingly quiet considering it's location.
The reception was very professional and efficient.
The room was quiet and perfect for our stay.
The only negative was that it was quite hot and I didn't like the pillows.
Breakfast was plentiful and varied.
Left luggage was a bonus as was the kettle in the room.

Finally asleep after more than 24 hours of travel, they woke me in the middle of the night because they had forgotten to collect the city tax upon check in. I asked them to allow payment on check out and they only returned with a card machine for the 16 euros. I would have paid 50 to stay asleep! Thoroughly annoyed. An okay room near everything. Mattress topper extends beyond the bed and by sitting on the corner, I actually tumbled to the floor. Dirt and crumbs under the bed. Bathroom smelled badly.

booked a room with 4 single beds all on the same level but when we arrived we had a different room maybe the attic but after a quick chat with reception they changed the room for us. We had the bedroom decorated for our sisters 18th birthday which the staff then brought all the balloons etc to our new room for us cost €25 for room decorated Inc bottle of wine, forgot to state she only drinks rose wine but they gave us red and didn't have an alternative unfortunately.
The staff were really helpful doing all this faffing around and the room suited us as a group better. We stayed in room 100 and had 4 single beds and a big sized bathroom which was great for 4 women. We felt safe at this hotel and it was really clean. We forgot to put our sign on the door to ask the cleaner to tidy round, but that was our fault not theirs. Would be great if there was a mini fridge in the room to keep water cool. The beds were really comfortable too bad an amazing sleep.
Had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again.There's a vending machine in the lobby for drinks. The lobby area and our room were really clean and cosy/warm.
We didn't try the breakfast so can't comment on that. There's a tram stop right outside the door. The hotel is literally minutes away from the train station so was easy to walk there. Can't wait to come back

Hotel itself was great, very clean and staff very helpful. Luggage drop was very useful as we arrived at 8am as were going to F1. Very conveniently located close to the train station. With plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, you never had to walk far!

Only downside was the room. In general it was good. We literally only used the room for sleeping and the bathroom as were out all weekend at the F1 so in that sense, it was a great room. However, our toilet door was broken and wouldn’t lock unless someone on the other side pushed the door in and then the person in the toilet could then lock it. Hopefully that gets fixed. Air conditioner also leaked a lot when in use, even after staff fixed it.

Overall though, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for stays in Amsterdam

We have just left after having a great 2 nights in the hotel. It was in the perfect position for a quick sightseeing trip, in walking distance to everything we wanted to see. I was really worried after reading negative reviews on cleanliness size of room etc. we had a family room which was spotlessly clean and plenty big enough. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. This really is the perfect location for exploring the city. Parking opposite q park is expensive but handy. No discount offered by hotel as external company. We paid for breakfast and I think if I stayed again wouldn’t have added this on as was very limited/basic but still very good quality and clean restaurant just not what we are used to as a family. There are plenty of breakfast options on your doorstep out side and around d the hotel. Overall I was very impressed and would definitely stay again if in the area.

The property is dated. There was a heat wave during our stay. The lobby has no air conditioning, so it was very hot during our check-in. My room has two levels, with beds on both the main floor and the attic. There is only one heat pump on the main floor, so the attic was too hot for use.

Arrived early in the hope our room was ready but as it was not we went for a lovely walk in the city centre. Unfortunately when we got back at 3pm our room was not ready until 3.30pm.
Room was basic, no fridge and bathroom not very clean. The shower tiles had mould both inside and at the base outside. Location to attractions was good however quite noisey.

I read the reviews before booking. Great location, spacious room (not tiny like many hotels in Amsterdam) and friendly staff.

Our bathtub leaked a little water, but they just gave us a lot of towels so it’s not wet everywhere.

I will try to choose this hotel for my seventh time in Amsterdam.

Few amenties, such as fridge, phone, bathroom hygiene items (only body wash and shampoo). Had clogged shower drain that allowed water to flood bathroom floor (repaired promotly the next day but left gobb of clogged hair on the floor) no ice machine, breakfast not included unless pay 20 Euros or 15 Euros if puchases 24 hrs in advance and would not reduce to 15 Euros if neglected to reserve). Considered this hotel ovepriced at about $160 plus $10 city tax.per night. Only better feature was nearness to the Central Train Station 6 -7 minute walk with luggage). Would look.for better if have to pay so much for not much.

Location is fantastic. 7 min walk from the train station (easiest access to the airport). Property is in the best area of town with tons of things to do including dinning and shopping. The hotel is dated but the room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Hôtels in Amsterdam are expensive in general. Breakfast is ok. Nothing special. It has scrambled eggs but no fruits (fruits from the can only). Check-in is 24hrs unlike bunch of hotels in the area that end it before midnight (I arrived at night). Checkout is 11am (possibility for late checkout but for 10 euros per hour). They held our suitcases after the checkout (they also do it for early check ins).

Staff was very friendly, very close to main attractions. Excellent location.
Areas of improvement: when turning the shower on, the water runs all over the bathroom’s floor as there is no division between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, so it’s a complete mess, even if you are careful. Also, in order for the power outlets to work, you must have the bathroom’s light on, otherwise they don’t work, so I had to sleep with the light on, otherwise my devices wouldn’t charge.

Employees were great. Rooms were pretty clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was that the show stall was missing a door and the bathroom got completely soaked when we would shower. Also, the showers were confusing and when I tried to adjust the temperature, it was scalding hot and burned my skin.

We booked this hotel as it is close to the station amongst other tourist locations. We booked a room with the king bed. Turned up at the hotel to check in, turns out cot bed was not ready and we had to stay in a room that sleeps 6. We slept on separate beds and also had to carry the pram up a few steps. We had to then check out of this room the following morning and check into another room which was actually our room with a king bed. Previous night, the man at reception said there are no king beds. This was a slight nuisance to the trip but staff on the second day were helpful and let us check in straight away into the actual room rather than waiting until 3pm. Would’ve been nice to have the room we booked from the first night so we didn’t have to pack up, check out and then check in again all with a baby.

Great facilities and location otherwise, which was convenient and decently priced! Lot of restaurants and shops closeby, all walking distance. We managed to walk to almost all the sights we wanted to see with a pram!

And for a deluxe room our view was.the roof and the vent,skylights to their offices. The only towel in the room were the bath mat and a hamd towel. For this to be a deluxe room not sure what tjey are comparing it to. We were also charged twice for the room.

The check in was easy, we paid €5 to check in early, the room was very small but clean and up together.
The air conditioning didn’t work properly, it was so hot in our room! Bathroom was cramped and everytime you had a shower it flooded the bathroom.
We looked right into someone’s kitchen so had to keep our curtains closed the whole stay.
Breakfast was poor, it was advertised as ‘full English’ but definitely wasn’t, I also witnessed a member of staff filling up the cereal dispensers with her bare hands whilst popping a few bits of granola in her mouth as she went, she also cleared up the dropped cereals from the worktop and popped them back in the dispenser! I paid however much it was for breakfast to have 2 pieces of toast every morning.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Aside from the negatives this hotel is clean and in a great location to see the city, it is around a 5-10 min walk from Amsterdam central station, close to many attractions within walking distance.

The hotel was in a great location, close to both the Central Station and Dam Square. Check in was quick and easy and the receptionist was very helpful. My room was small, but comfortable and the shower was really good. It was useful to have a vending machine for drinks and snack, and although I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, it was good to have that as an option.
