Perfect location to explore local amenities, shopping and airport. Absolutely value for money. Excellent car shuttle service to airport to catch flights. Extremely helpful staff. Room service was brilliant. Amazing viewing area from the roof top restaurant. Will visit again.

Even though the hotel is just across the road from the airport it was so nice to be greeted by their driver who waiting patiently for us to clear immigration. The counter staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.both day and night.

It turned out that it was a national holiday - Dushahra and hardly anyone was there except for the receptionist and he too was in a hurry to leave. There was no food possibilities and much more. The soap etc. were not there. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE at all.

Not so good an experience. No lift from ground. Need to climb at least 10 steps to reach Reception. Condition of towels supplied was pathetic. Staff ok. Breakfast ok

A place to relax before you fly out.

I stay here before I fly out of Tribhuvan International Airport. This stay I had a suite which was good sized with a nice couch. The wifi is good and the hotwater is great. The cable TV has no Global channels so is of no use to foreigners.

Meridian Suite Hotel is connected to the Regal Hotel. The Merdian is a little more upscale than the Regal with the restaurant on the top with good views and a friendly staff. But, the Regal also has nice rooms and better cable.

The new exit road from the airport is now completed making for direct access to both hotels across a busy street; so be careful if you choose to walk. The hotels are amazingly close from where you exit the airport.

We did not stay. We walked in, and walked out. The pictures posted here are FAR and away different from the reality of the property. The water ran brown. There are LARGE patches of mold all over the walls. The bathrooms had mold and gunk all over. The sheets and pillows and towels were grey. The property smelled and the floors were disgusting. I wouldn’t pay $8usd to stay here. They also had the nerve to tell us to pay for the night! I left immediately and will be disputing any charge that comes to my account.

The Meridan Suite is in great location, directly across from the airport. The rooms are clean and offer free bottled water. The staff is AMAZING and extremely polite and helpful. If you have any questions on where to visit during your stay, they will offer excellent ideas and even transportation to the destination. I looked forward to breakfast every morning because it was THAT good. I really enjoyed my experience at the Meridain Suite and I think you will too, honestly.

Just a 6 hour layover. Tried three times to email and book a transfer from terminal (which they say they do) however no one emailed me back so had to cross the ring road with luggage (near death experience) Sheets were stained and dirty. Staff did the best they could however quality of hotel impossible to hide. Don't stay here.

This is an older hotel, the water is brown, the bathroom cabinet doors had fallen off and just placed inside the cabinet. However, the service is good, the breakfast was nice. The airport shuttle is super fast, but even if you arrange it in advance you will have to call them when you reach the airport. Overall, I might stay here again, if I was looking for a room close to the airport for a quick overnight.

This hotel is great for a flight out of KTM. There is not much around there, so it's really best for the airport only. The staff is helpful and the shuttle is super easy to use and very fast. Overall, this is a good option in the many many hotels of Kathmandu.

Good hotel a little near the runways of the planes.Good situation near Kathmandu and Bhaktapur and The hotel helped us to catch a bus to go to Bhaktapur.They kept our big luggage when we went to visit Pokhara and Chitwan for 12 days. They have a sense of service and friendliness.

Overnight in Khatmandu near the airport

Meridian is a comfortable hotel close to the airport - walking distance if needed - and have a courtesy pickup service. Staff are pleasant and generally helpful. Restaurant is ok - nothing flash but tasty. Only negative was requesting a driver to Bhaktapur the night before and sitting around for an hour waiting while it was arranged and the car turned up. Even so, it was a great morning - Bhaktapur is amazing and the driver was very pleasant and chatted while we strolled around the city.

Free airport transfers are a bonus & only take 10 minutes! Staff very helpful & pleasant. My room was spacious & very comfortable - but I did book a delux double while traveling on my own because One of the reviews mentioned the single rooms being quite small.
Breakfast included was Pretty good - cook eggs how you like plus a buffet.
Only negative was that there is nothing to do within walks no distance. Thus a good R&R place with time to do some work / watch TV &/or read!

Very nice hotel at a very economical price. Clean room and facilities. Good food for lunch/dinner at the restaurant in the building. Excellent buffet breakfast. Professional and courteous staff. Walking distance from the airport. Complimentary airport drop off service. Perfect stay!

Nice and comfortable stay for a night in. Big size room and good high speed wifi connection. The food was tasty and also had 24 hrs hot water for showers. However, if you want to stay and visit KTM then wouldn't recommend as its a distance from the city and attractions. Nonetheless, if you want to just fly in and out of KTM then yes I do recommend it and will stay here again as it also provides free airport shuttle services.

My favorite hotel in Kathmandu. Very convenient. Across the street from the airport. Free shuttle service on call. Good bed and bedding. Hot showers. Friendly, English speaking, helpful staff. Good restaurant with a view of the airport. Nice, complementary breakfast buffet.

This hotel is not same as before the cleaning part is poor toilet is dirty and use very strong chemical , I didn't feel good whenever I use toilet and breakfast menu is same all the time

Friends before you consider this hotel do remember that the hotel doesn't keep milk pouches in tea n coffee maker kit...
if you ask for it they will say \"drink black T /Coffee..\"; when i insist the staff very rudely refused and ask me to pay for the single milk pouch.

The service of the hotel workers are good. If you're staying here definitely try the complimentary breakfast it's very good. The area around the airport, however, is not very touristy friendly and you should only stay here if you're planning on going somewhere else the next day. I requested an extra bed but they were unable to accommodate me because they claimed the bed was too big to fit in the room, so we had to all squeeze in one bed, which was horrible.

Hotel located about 5 minutes drive from airport. Great service in pick up for inbound and outbound travel with no additional charges. Some small tips to the driver.

Management needs to be flexible

I selected this hotel for convenience. I stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions with two different experience. On the first one, I landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport at 8pm at night and was taking a domestic flight early morning. Since the hotel was so close, it was very convenient. Breakfast was okay -omelet was good but the rest of the stuff didn't look fresh.

Since the hotel did the job during my first stay, I booked it again on the way back a week later (see the loyalty on my part!). My flight was leaving at 5pm next day and I requested for a late check out at 2 pm instead of 12 noon. However, the lady at the front desk declined saying they are busy and cannot allow guests to stay beyond the check out time because they need to clean the rooms. This was a surprise to me because when I checked in at 4pm the other day, they still hadn't cleaned my assigned room and I had to take another room. Having stayed in hotels all over, I am pretty sure that customers check in at different times and very few people register in the hotel right at the check in time. I had to check out on time and go up to their restaurant and stay there for 2 hours (and all this time, I did not see a single hotel customer -so much for the busy hotel)! A little bit of flexibility to address customer needs goes a long way and I hope that the hotel management learns to address this for future customers!

I found the man at check in very knowledgeable about the area and mountains, Riva was his name. he was most excellence person and helpful. the hotel itself was clean and the restaurant upstairs was good. Ok place for a quick trip in and out of town, tis close to the airport which turned out to be a wee bit noisy, overall a fair place fo its location and easy of airport access for early departure.

This hotel was handy for me as it was close to the airport, as i was just doing a overnight stay there, the staff were friendly and welcoming and to cater for anything i needed, room is spacious, clean and comfortable, it's nice having a courtesy car to pick you up from the airport and to take you back to airport, as prices vary among the local taxis at the airport which can be expensive if you don't know the prices to be charged, being close to the airport didnt spoil my time there as it wasn't noisy in the hotel, plenty of choices of food to eat whether you want to go the restaurant or have it your room all in all my experience in this hotel was good thoroughly recommended.

Get ripped off!

The location was closed to airport. At first I find the staff considerate as they offered to meet me at the airport. But when I arrived they asked me for tips and even saying the tips are too little for them as they have four people. Well, but it wasn't me to request four people to meet us! They requested at least US10 for tips. Upon arriving the hotel, it \"appeared\" nice that a guy offered to help us carrying the luggage. But there is no free lunch on earth. The guy won't leave our room unless we paid him tips, and yet another US20 this time! I stayed for only one night in this hotel and moved to Thamel afterwards. So far my stay in Nepal was a pleasant one and all other Nepalese I met were unlike those I met in this hotel. Honestly, very disappointed!

Walking distance from airport

Flight delayed and landed at midnight. Stayed in hotel for a few hours only before my flight to Chitwan in the morning. Walking distance from airport but the road was not well-lit. Staff were helpful. Nice view from both the room and the room. Toilet is a bit smelly and I do not like the breakfast food provided by the hotel restaurant.

Ac not worked and they took full amount

Took full amount we have to sleep at floor putting mattress on floor. Didn't got the AC repaired even giving key for 12 hours.
Behaviour was worst. Breakfast every item was over in 5 minutes and didn't arranged again.
Said sir it is over. Never suggest to anyone.
Very liers all staff and owner.adjusted in our other rooms on floor.2 out of 5 rooms

Fantastic location close to the airport

Hotel was really near the airport and the location was fantastic! Free breakfast was very much appreciated and the free shuttle to the airport as well. The staff were all wonderful and friendly! The TV in the room was really cool as well
