Standard motel, if booking from Expedia leave at least a 4 hour gap between your booking and check in time. According to employees their system takes a long time to upload Expedia bookings. Had to wait almost 2 hours for my room.

They had dirty based boards, I creases in the shower tub could use a deep clean. Staff was courteous. I may just stay in motel 6 in Tulare next time as they didn't require me to pay a $60 refundable deposit and had more places to eat in walking distance plus the Tulare Outlet mall.

They ask for a $60 Cash Deposit. So if you are going to check late at night and you do not have cash they will make you go to an ATM and get cash before you can check in. This is their policy to collect Cash at the time of check in, so make sure you bring cash

When we checked in I realized I accidentally asked for a smoking room online. I politely asked for a non smoking and a room in certain part of the complex near where we had already parked our truck and trailer. The receptionist was rather rude and would not give us a non smoking room and assigned us a room as far away as possible from where I requested. Room smelled bad of stale smoke. Tub finish was worn off. Flooring in room had huge gaps between pieces.
Very sad condition.

I had hoped Motel 6 had improved over the years and gave them a try. To start I had to pay a 60.00 cash deposit at check in. I questioned why and the woman became hostile and informed me that I could go somewhere else if I didn’t like this ‘policy’. This is above the room charge which had already been paid. I insisted on a receipt and did get this back when we checked out. Got to the room to find it was bare, very dark lighting and filthy floor. Cooling system only kept it tolerable. Bedspreads were stained and the pillows felt like they came out of a $1.00 bargain bin. Beds were older and one was broken down. In the bathroom the towels were threadbare and ragged. The so called closet was a cubby with no lighting. Absolutely no amenities. Not even a do not disturb placard. To top off this experience we had a person who was drunk or high knocking on our door a couple times the first night looking for someone. The only good thing I can say is we were able to park near our room. I DO NOT recommend this property.

It was absolutely horrible I wasn't even there an hour and I was asked to leave because I wanted clean bedding The housekeeper that didn't even really speak English was upset that I wanted clean bedding because I even took pictures of the bed somebody had slept in it and it was made up dirty and she wanted to argue and didn't want to give me clean linen so the hotel manager told me this was all on camera which it wasn't it was in my room and that I needed to leave or she was going to call the cops and she kept my money

The place is absolutely destroyed. Walls have holes in them their using electrical tape to stop leaks on the shower. They had stains on the sheets when i walked in the room. The had to remake the bed absolutely gross and the made me pay a cash deposited saying i could break something there's nothing left to break makes no sense

My bathroom light didn’t work and I asked front desk if I could change rooms to at least do my makeup I had an event to go to. She said maintenance wasn’t around or her manager . And there was nothing she could do. I couldn’t understand why i couldn’t change rooms. And she never called me back to let me know if maintenance was there. I had to do my makeup with my phone light on. I won’t be going back!

The room was very worn. The pillows were dead a looooong time ago. But the bed was clean and comfy!
However, the bedding had at least 2 cigarette burns and the beadspread had a rip a few inches long
Pool was broken
I would say this is a one star hotel, but the staff was nice and the matress was good!

The room was clean and fine but it’s the mattress. Feels like you’re sleeping on a rock. We couldn’t sleep at all.
So, hopefully the owners see this and upgrade the mattresses for customers.
You’ll have more satisfied customers better ratings and thus more bookings.

Everything was good. 2 complaints. I was not told there was a $60 CASH deposit at check in. I would have been very upset if I would’ve had to go get cash to give them. Secondly, I don’t understand the MANDATORY daily housekeeping! 9:30 am? Step out while they do it?? THAT will keep me from returning.We were booked for 6 nights. Very stressful to be waiting for that knock on the door while we were getting ready in the mornings. We were there in July and these policies were not in place.

This is a convenient Budget Hotel for when I am visiting family. There are some new rules in place however you must leave a cash deposit which I was not aware of prior and they check your room before that deposit is returned to you. Also they check the rooms each day whether you want them cleaned or not and threatened to kick us out if we do not allow them in the rooms. My guess is that there is some transitional housing occurring at this location and there are stricter rules in place. Not necessarily a complaint that something that people should be aware of before they book here

Every moment of my trip was met with terrible service. They tried to deny me my room because I booked through Expedia 2 weeks prior and had gotten it on discount by about $200. They tried to disregard my reservation and tell me I was required to pay their asking price. I was able to contact Expedia and they fixed it promptly.

Cleaning staff were great. Receptionist upon arrival was great; Others not so great during stay and upon leaving. Drunk Guatemalans in room next to ours were friendly and affectionate. TV and phone did not work. \"non-slip\" bathtub mat not effective. Had to go out and buy one at Walmart.

Yes, the property was pet friendly. The rooms were clean, but dated. I was shocked by the $60. cash deposit that I was required to pay since that was not mentioned in my Expedia booking. It suited our needs for our visit without breaking the bank. I can do dated, as long as its clean. I will say the ways walls are very thin and lots of traffic noise since it is a stone's throw away from 198 and lots of workers staying with the big, loud trucks.

The room was not really clean, there was drywall debry and screws on the floor. The bathroom faucet connections are backwards so we were getting cold water instead of hot and vise versa. But the craziest thing I've ever seen was the 60 dollar CASH deposit and having to wait for someone to check the room before we could leave. Really?

The room was a good size. It was clean and comfortable and quiet. The queen size bed was also comfortable. The curtains were not blackout curtain so they let some of the light in. No toiletries are included except for soap. No hair dryer either. Free coffee is offered in the reception area from 6 or 7 am until 10 am which was nice but some of the people in our group did not drink coffee. Pool area seemed nice but we didn’t have time to use it. The AC worked well but it was noisy. I wished there was another mirror other than the bathroom mirror. Overall we had a pleasant stay and we appreciated the friendly staff.
