This is an ok hotel in downtown, right on "main street" a couple of blocks from the river. The location is convenient and the access and parking are convenient. Our room was larger than expected. Plan to go out for breakfast - this hotel is not serious about breakfast. A few greasy slabs of sausage, a pile of sloppy scrambled eggs, no fruit, no whole grain bread, and some sugary stuff. Yuck. Otherwise, a basic good-enough hotel. If you plan to ride the Rolling Prairie Rail Trail (recommended), direct access is just a block away.

My son goes to college here in Waverly. It took me two years to find this gem, but once I did it is now the ONLY place I stay at while visiting him. This is my fourth or fifth visit and every time it is quiet, clean, and comfortable. The staff is AMAZING!

I have stayed in a lot of hotels in my travels but this one was pretty much the best. The staff was unbelievably friendly, helpful and made the best damn cookies that are laid out for ya. Breakfast was done right. Everything was fresh, not large amounts getting cold as it sat waiting for you to eat it. The rooms had no weird hotel smell, immaculately cleaned and the hallways were the same. Parking was perfect.

Height of tub was high for a handicap room. Breakfast was was cool Sunday morning. Room was roomy, TV remote would not scroll down and one outlet by the window next to the bed worked on the top but not on the bottom. Overall the stay was good!

The staff was not helpful. There was one guy who was helpful but not overly friendly. They were more worried about who quit and gossiping in front of customers versus making sure the free breakfast was stocked. The overall Custer service was a major disappointment. If it weren’t for that it would have been a nice stay. Great location in Waverly and lots of things to do within walking distance. Easy parking.

First time staying at a Cobblestone Inn and stayed for a weekend. It is basically of the same look and quality of a Hampton Inn with the breakfast of a motel 6. The rooms have everything you need; a tv, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. It appears to be kept up.
There is a small bar where alcoholic drinks are served with a sitting area.
The breakfast was absolutely terrible. The selection is next to nothing and what they did serve was soggy french toast sticks and watered down eggs.
Overall, it was a fine place to stay. The rooms were basic with what you need and it is located near several restaurants and bars and just a couple miles away from the college.

We were greeted with a smile and even given a freshly-baked cookie! This place was very clean, from the front area to our room. The beds and pillows were comfy, and there were no outside noises to disrupt our sleep. We woke up, walked down the hall, and enjoyed a nice free continental breakfast and some very good coffee. We will definitely be staying here again!

Front desk staff was fantastic, caring, chatty and fun to talk with. Very informative and knowledgeable about Waverly. Room waa clean with fridge, microwave and coffee, lots of pillows, and very comfortable. Will definitely stay there on our next trip to Waverly.

We enjoy staying at Cobblestone. The staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent and served from 6-10 am.
My only suggestion is to add a recliner in the King rooms...there's plenty of space for it, but no comfy chair or loveseat. Just the desk chair.

Everything at Cobblestone Inn was great except the bed was very bouncy and our air conditioner didn’t take the humidity out of the air, so we were uncomfortable and clammy feeling which made for poor sleep.

Great stay, clean inside and out. Only semi-negative is that the main bridge downtown is out and there is a small detour (like 5-10 minutes extra). Property is well maintained, and rooms were nice and a great breakfast in the morning. Staff was friendly and prompt.

Everything fine except 4 people including front desk housekeeper maintenance and someone I couldn't see came POUNDING on my door at 945 am WITH a do not disturb sign on my door wanting to clean my room. I'm a travel nurse and had a short window for sleep. Totally ridiculous and unacceptable

Nice town. Plenty of free parking. Very quite. Breakfast was typical of free breakfast with eggs and sausage or potatoes, muffins, waffles, and cereal.

Best Hotel in Waverly
Very nice hotel in a great location. We had a suite which of course has plenty of space. Disappointed in the A/C units. One unit in the living roon area worked pretty well, the one in the bedroom was just OK and the room was humid. Check in was easy, parking a breeze.

We are having major issues with this hotel and it has been a horrible experience.
1. It took at least 1 hour to check into the hotel. We were forced to wait in a long line of people waiting to check in. They were having system issues that were causing extensive delays.
2. After checking in we found that 4 out of the five elevators were not working and several of them had been out for several days. We booked 3 rooms and had to climb the stairs with our bags in order to actually get t o our rooms in a timely fashion. We were placed on the 9. 10. and 12 floor. My sister in law is 6 months pregnant and had to walk up to the 10th floor.
3. We had to walk down around 6pm to make it to our game.
4. When we returned from the game we had to walk back up to our room as they still only had one elevator so we all walked to our room.
5. We called down to complain and to let them know they there is no ice on the 9th floor. They told us to go down to the 8th floor to get ice.
Do yourself a favor, stay somewhere else.

Nice small town hotel
Nice location, friendly staff, well kept building. Our only complaint is that we had a shower head so bad that the pressure of the water hurt. Never thought I’d stay at a hotel and complain that the pressure was too strong! We think there was something wrong with the shower head.
