Beautiful property with its own rustic mountain vibe. Was immediately greeted by Troy at the front desk. The wood fireplace was going with coffee and hot chocolate. Took a nap in the room before dinner. Shawn at the bar knows how to bartend. The live music was another plus. Really appreciate this property was not a cookie cutter chain location.

I would have given the place a 5, if it were not for the fact that it needs some sprucing up. Granted, it is end of snow season and getting into Spring/Summer. But, something as simple as keeping the elevator clean (it was pretty messy) or checking the room a bit closer (Tub was a bit dirty and the cleaning staff missed some areas).
Overall though, the staff made up for it by being attentive and friendly! And, I would stay again for sure if passing through the area.

The food and music was amazing. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Loved the atmosphere and cozy fire with all the wood we needed each night. We found the game room on our last night and enjoyed a few games of pool. It’s close to Ashland, lots of wineries and of course the snow is just up the hill. Our room was on the bottom floor, so it was a little colder, than upstairs rooms, we had to run our heater through the night. Lovely Winter escape!!

Our stay started with disappointment but finished well. We drove about 4 hours for our visit and arrived approximately 1.5 hours ahead of check-in time. We asked if we could simply drop our bags in the room and were told it would be a $25 charge. This is a VERY poor business practice. Not only did it start the visit with a bad taste in our mouths, we also decided NOT to have lunch at the facility because of it...estimated loss of $60+ and an unhappy customer. I have no issue paying for something when I'm asking for extra effort or accommodation but to simply open a door for the room which was ready and waiting?....ridiculous!
After the initial disappointment, our stay was very nice. The staff was excellent in every aspect and accommodations were just as advertised and very relaxing. The carpeting in the room definitely needs replacement but our overall stay was very peaceful and accommodating. Also, the live music in the bar was a very nice touch and very much appreciated!

Nice room, simple. Breakfast was nice continental, Dinner was very good. Our room was one of the basic ones in the basement and it felt a little like a basement. to do over we would have gotten one of the rooms with a fireplace. We had a nice stay and the staff were pleasant.

The front desk was run by Jax. He did a great job of greeting us. He knew who we were and took us to our room. Showed us both the games room and weight room. Informed us the breakfast was served in the dinning room between 7:30 and 9:30. The room was excellent, very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was more than advertised. The next morning they cleared new fallen snow from our car. We are very pleased with Callahan's.

The fountain outside our room was noisy and blocked the only animals we did see, lovely seeing it mostly empty. The community sharing wasn't told to us nor what i thought i was paying for. Hot sucked it was just a deep tub that pushed water around and the shower leaks.

Horrible! The doors don't work and we've been without water for over 5 hours, unable to use the bathroom, or shower. The heating is bad, and the room is extremely cold. It's truly a terrible experience. It's almost 9 p.m. and there's no water. The attendant already knew about this and waited until I checked in to tell me about the lack of water. Absolutely absurd! Extremely poor service, terrible!

We loved the lodge itself it is beautiful. Our room was really nice with a spa tub and fireplace.The balcony and garden view were really nice. Would have been a perfect 5 star stay except, one big reason we stayed there was to enjoy the included breakfast, We called the night before and was told it ended at 930. My husband went down to get us food but they didn't have carrying trays so he brought back two coffees and went back down immediately to get food. It was 905 and they had put it all away. When I mentioned it at checkout the staff said \"Oh that's because the restaurant was serving brunch, we can let you go make a bagel.\" My husband had already seen the eggs, waffles and potatoes and didn't want a bagel. We would have chosen to stay at a hotel in town if we were not going to be able to get breakfast and I paid more to have it included. Too bad that happened its a really pretty place.

Callahans is a hidden gem. House is private and adjacent to the property but still affords access to amenities like hot breakfast and restaurant. The outdoor patio and live music was particularly lovely. House hadn’t been stayed in for awhile and there were a few maintenance issues but Tommy really went to bat at getting them resolved. A few little details like more dishes and handsoap in baths and this place would hit it out of the park. Pet and family friendly. A solid stay. We will come again.

This is a cute place. It's older, but quite charming. The guy at the front desk was so nice and helpful. I would stay here again. It's a cute little gem if you're travelling through and need a place to stay for the night. I don't know that there are a lot of things to do in the area, but it is beautiful. I've heard good things about the restaurant, though I didn't get to try it. The room was tucked away. It had a patio overlooking a gorgeous grassy area with a fountain. The bed was super comfortable, and the linens were soft and clean.
