Staff were great and friendly, unfortunately we had some issues with the room. There was a terrible over powering smell which appeared to be coming from the drains? The room was hot and the AC was not working, windows were locked but a staff member was kind enough to at least get these open for us. Beds were not comfy but location of the hotel is great.

This was my third stay at Hotel Windsor and the amenities within the room were disappointing. The hotel hallways and space within the room felt sterile or uncomfortable. The bathroom did not have common toiletries. However, the front reception staff was incredibly helpful in calling taxis and making restaurant recommendations and reservations.

We got a room close to the street on the second floor. It was noisy and woke us up, especially once the street trains started running around 5ish. The breakfast was amazing though.

I traveled with my 12 year old daughter, the night we stayed has a big thunderstorm we come down to the restaurant for dinner, and they have a private party I want to get dinner for my daughter and the manager from the restaurant was so rude, super rude and aggressive told me they are closed I asked what about room service and he went close to my face and told if I didn’t read the sign of course I didn’t see it.
Next day I talked to the manager he apologized and said he had an event and he was under stress, in this case if he can’t deal with the stress he shouldn’t be in this business and learn how to deal with guest, the restaurant was tiny, in two weeks in Italy everything was perfect until I come to this place, we went to sleep without dinner feeling so bad for my little daughter with an empty stomach 😭

The hotel is in a good location as you can walk to the Metro. The train station is one stop away on the Metro. There are restaurants and bars that you can walk to as well. The rooms are very large and comfortable. The staff are extremely nice and very helpful. We had a wonderful breakfast buffet included in our room package. I recommend this hotel.

Delighted with the hotel, great room, very quiet from the street outside and also the Alcon which was whisper quiet. Everything looked and felt very new and modern. Staff very friendly and helpful, great breakfast and the restaurant was an added bonus. Highly recommended for a stay in Milan.

We stayed for 4 nights, and whilst it was a great hotel, we did experience several problems with water temperature in the shower. I also found the bed and pillows a tad firm, but apart from that it was a great choice!

Overall: An amazing hotel! Especially for the time I stayed there. Staff were friendly and helpful when checking in/out. Great house cleaning. Good breakfast everyday, definitely worth adding to your stay. No actual complaints about anything at all!!

We witnessed the breakfast being closed down approximately half an hour before breakfast ended, so if you hadn't got there early there would be been limited options left. This also meant nothing was replenished 45 minutes before breakfast ended. On one day, I hardly atea anything as it wasn't replenished, despite being gone when we arrived for breakfast 1 hour before it ended.

For a European hotel room, mine was surprisingly spacious! Staff was pleasant, room and bathroom were clean. The only potential drawback was the shower was TINY! A person of size honestly might not even fit. It was super narrow, basically a phone booth. Other than that, great area and great experience. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others.

Location was good, very close to Central Station though a half hour walk to the cathedral and other tourist attractions. We didn’t mind the walk, all flat and better to be staying away from the crowds. The staff were mainly very friendly and helpful and breakfast was wonderful! Our room was very comfortable. Would stay again if we are lucky enough to return to Milan.

I like the hotel was able to call a doctor to come to my hotel room to service me. I had excruciating pain in my right leg. The doctor came to my room and gave me a cortisone shot and pain medicine. It was affordable only $200 euros.

Worst Hotel Ever
The website claims that there is an all day restaurant and evening bar at the property. This is false. There is a Bistro open from 7:30-10:30 only, and its buffet only. There are some lovely tables along floor to ceiling windows looking out into the city, but those are reserved for the public. Guests are crammed into tight rows of tables at the back, behind the server station.
There were not any amenities in the room, no kettle, no glasses, no toiletries, no instant coffee or tea. NOT EVEN AN IRON. You had to go down to the front desk with your clothes, and you were escorted into a closet behind the desk with an iron and ironing board. AND you had to wait until the desk clerk was free to escort you.
You could not control your own room temperature, no matter what buttons you pushed on the thermostat. Instead, you had to go down to the front desk to get it adjusted.
The website advertises updated rooms, but these are only on ONE FLOOR out of SIX. My room was decorated with random leftover furniture from the 1980s.
The final straw was when I tried to take a shower, and I couldn't get anything but lukewarm water.
Although listed as 4 Star, it is only 1 Star at best. This hotel should be either downgraded to 1 star or removed from Hotels.com until the management addresses these issue.

You had to go down to the front desk with your clothes, and you were escorted into a closet behind the desk with an iron and ironing board. AND you had to wait until the desk clerk was free to escort you.
You could not control your own room temperature, no matter what buttons you pushed on the thermostat. Instead, you had to go down to the front desk to get it adjusted.
The website advertises updated rooms, but these are only on ONE FLOOR out of SIX. My room was decorated with random leftover furniture from the 1980s.
The final straw was when I tried to take a shower, and I couldn't get anything but lukewarm water.
Although listed as 4 Star, it is only 1 Star at best. This hotel should be either downgraded to 1 star or removed from Hotels.com until the management addresses these issue.

Convenient for central station and Republicca Metro. Breakfast is nice and the staff are excellent. However, if you have a room at the front of the building it can be very noisy. We were on the first floor and the vibrations from the tram line outside cam be felt well into the night, as well as staff coming and going from the utility room on the second floor

Hotel Windsor is a nice modern hotel not too far from the Milan Centrale train station. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and look recently refreshed. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and speak excellent English. Their attached restaurant, the Clotilde Bistrot, was very good with lots of traditional Milanese fare. The provided breakfast buffet is also excellent. The only downside is that the lower floors hear a lot of street noise. We stayed facing the street on the first floor and the noise from the streetcars was loud, and the vibrations would shake the whole room. Perhaps it’s different at higher floors. However, overall a very nice hotel.
