Everything was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the outside area and Robert provided very generous provisions for breakfast.

Was meet by Robert who took us to our lodge. The lodge was clean and tidy with the fridge stocked with milk, bread , eggs , butter and Yogurt and fruit all of which we were most grateful. The upper cupboards had cereals and tea and coffee.. all in all a lovely place to stay

The Kea cabin is very well appointed, including eggs in the fridge, juices and fruit included.
The bed is very comfortable and it's a quiet location for a good sleep.
Conveniently close to the motorway but no traffic noise can be heard.
We enjoyed our overnight stay here.

Small cozy cabin, as it was just my wife and I, so we booked one that made sense. Nice location, clean, farm fresh eggs were delicious, about 35 mins from downtown Auckland and airport depending on traffic! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again if we came back to the area!!

Wow is the first word that came to mind when we walked through the front door. What an amazing place - so cosy, large, clean, immaculate, superb decor, friendly owner who responds to communication super quick, great location for an \"on the way home\" stop to recharge the batteries, huge bedroom, delicious and ample choices for the free breakfast, cosy seating in the main lounge, large kitchen with all you need, beautiful bathroom with huge bath and corner walk-in shower. I can't say enough - but for sure, we will be back if we ever need to stop in between home and Auckland.

Did not get a chance to use the spa (arrived late) but another luxury at this beautiful place. I almost didn't want to write this - hate to have it seen by too many people who might then book this place out when we need it again!

Thank you Robert - this accommodation is a credit to you. Thank you and so amazing! A treasure we will never forget.

This property was fabulous!!!
The area suited us perfectly for where we needed to be. A short drive to Pukekoe for shopping.
The breakfast was generous with option to cook or have continental.
We loved the quietness and the convenience to the motorway.

Great place to stay. Easy check in, quiet and comfortable. The only thing I would change are the sheets that were crisp and clean but very noisy to sleep in. They are a bit like cardboard. Also some normal bread and butter knives added to the cutlery. Hard to butter bread with a pointed knife. We have stayed here with our two Dachshund's now and it is a great place to stay thank you.

The breakfast and supplies where over and above what was expected. Everything was immaculately presented, quality linens, comfortable bed, convenient and pretty rural location. Perfect farm meets city experience

I have stayed here a few times when working in the area and it is one of my favorite places to stay! The kiwi cabin is lovely- it has a real homely feel to it and it is a bonus getting to see the farm animals. The hosts are fantastic and leave you plenty of beautiful foods for breakfast and condiments for cooking. I would absolutely recommend

Heavens rest 😇

We only stayed 1 night , lovely setting, quiet,lovely outside sitting and eating area.
Inside everything you would need with the added bonus of produce in the fridge for breakfast.
Bedroom compact but very comfortable.
Bathroom, very good pressure on the shower and plenty of hot water.
Our only gripe was there was no instructions for the AC/ heating( we are unaccustomed to AC) which we needed for the chilly morning.
All in all a very good stay.

Our second stay at this fabulous property which is set in secluded grounds and surrounded by farmland. This time we stayed in the Kakapo wing, with its large bedroom, dressing room and bathroom with shower and bath. Very clean throughout, and the bed is large and comfortable. Breakfast is a \"help yourself\" in the lovely lounge/kitchen with areas in the fridge dedicated to each of the rooms. Large choice of cereals, bread, yoghurt, fresh orange juice and various fruits.
The rooms overlook a paddock with a cow and a couple of goats.

A Real Gem!

Heaven’s Rest certainly lives up to its name! We booked one night as we passed through the area and were delightfully surprised to find this gem. The grounds are gorgeous and the accommodations elegant and very well stocked, the bed very comfortable. We stayed in the two bedroom cabin, Kiwi Cabin.
We appreciated the foods left for us for our breakfast, bread, spreads, cereal, oats, milk, juice… Another appreciated feature is the picnic table on our deck. It overlooked the paddock, where we got to visit with 2 goats, a cow and several hens.
We unfortunately didn’t get to meet our hosts, which saddened us. We would have liked to tell them in person how pleased we were with our short stay. We would most definitely go back!

We had a fabulous stay here. The hosts were very welcoming and the units are fabulous. The cupboards were very generously stocked for our breakfast, and we loved the fact that we had a cow and two goats who were just over the fence. We are definitely coming back. Loved it here! Thank you!

The breakfast was wonderful, there was an abundance of food to eat/choose from. We also loved the personal touch of the cute signs that greeted us, it felt very welcoming. We highly recommend this place to stay in and we will be staying again if we come back to the area.

Fabulous stay, great host who met us on arrival and explained everything. Lovely view across the fields, private and quiet. The fridge and pantry were stocked with everything possibly wanted for breakfast: bread, milk, eggs, jams honey etc. we only stayed one night in transit but would happily stayed several days. From booking to arriving to completing our stay everything was easy and really well done. Robert is lovely and greeted us on our arrival and showed us around. The room was well appointed and the bath robes were a nice touch even though we didn't use them. Breakfast was amazing. Opening the curtains to see the goat, chickens and cows was lovely. So nice and really felt welcome. Highly recommend and this will be a place I will try to book again when travelling to Auckland.

This is an outstanding place to stay. Our room was very spacious and extremely clean. Fantastic rural location even though it's only 2 minute's drive from the Interstate.
Delicious continental breakfast with a good choice of cereals, bread, yoghurt, juice, fruits, jams, marmalade and savoury spreads.
We would loved to have stayed another night, hopefully on our next trip to New Zealand.

Our stay at Heaven’s Rest was relaxing and comfortable. The cabin was cozy but spacious with everything we needed, including lots of choices for breakfast. Our 3-year-old loved the hammock and visiting the friendly goats and cow. We wished we could stay longer!

Great little spot about 30mins from Auckland Airport. We just stayed the one night on our way back from Rotorua but would have loved to spend more time here. Sitting on the deck with a glass of wine and talking to the goats was heaven! Bed was super comfy and the suite we stayed in was very spacious. A simple breakfast was provided and ahead all we wanted for an early start. There is some highway traffic noise but still very peaceful in the evening when we got back from dinner.

This was such a stunning and beautiful property - we loved the farm setting, and the cow and goat right outside really added to the peaceful experience!! A bit on the smaller cozier side for the four of us, but still very comfortable overall. Quiet and relaxing place to rest. Stayed in Tu Nui wing with my family for one night as a thorough way to Cambridge/Rotorua. Enjoyed the nice beds and hot showers. Nicely setup 2 bedrooms on a wing of the main house that could comfortably sleep 5 in 3 beds. Good setup for bedrooms plus room with shower & tub and separate room with toilet & sink. Access to nicely setup main house kitchen and living space. Owner communicates well and left some drinks for us in the fridge at self checkin. Nice continental breakfast to serve ourselves and opportunity to make your own eggs in the morning. We were only there for 1 night but would make a nice family friendly place if traveling with family for longer. On a farm road but convenient to highway exit.

Great last minute stop. Made the reservation same night about an hour before arrival and everything was set up. Milk, eggs, jams, butter, coffee and biscuits were ready for self service breakfast. Nice location, very quiet. May stop back in on our way back not later this month

AMAZING PROPERTY! My cousin and I had been expecting a place to sleep but instead got a beautiful and tranquil place to spend the entire evening. After 2 weeks in NZ we both agreed this was by far the best place we had stayed. The check in was easy, the hosts were awesome in that they provided a website with facts about the property, town/restaurants, and surrounding area. I cannot express how much I want to return. 5 star in the country.

This was a one night stay to catch up with family nearby but we would have been very happy to stay much longer. We stayed in the 2 bedroom,2 bath self contained detached cabin Although a bit narrow in depth the cabin was modern, spotlessly clean with a central room with full kitchen and a bedroom at each end, one with ensuite. it was peaceful and te perfect place to base yourself for a few days to explore the Pukekohe/South Auckland area. A very generous breakfast was included and for the price charged we would rate our stay 5 star.
