It was clean, quiet and nice, staff are reasonably friendly, there was some construction on the paths around it but that should be gone soon enough and it couldn't be heard. It could've been more private but the windows are tinted and the block out curtains block out all light. Overall pretty nice stay

Lovely stay at Aveda, friendly owners, convenient to everything, nice walk down to the small lake, clean rooms.
The unit we were in was quite dark. I understand the beds in the units are for various set ups but if putting two singles together to make a king then a suitable topper would be good so theres no hard bump in the middle.

The only downside was the room only had block out blind facing the common area so had to keep closed for privacy which made the room dark during the day as when open everyone could see into our room. Sheers would have helped with both light and privacy.

I didn't like it was sound proof as described in properttly details it says \"sound proof room\" i could hear other guests throughput the nights. Dangerous front door as ut can not be locked from the inside for guests with children. I was in the bathroom when my 3yr old opened the front door an nearly walked out. Locks need looking into. Not safe for children 3 an under. Very clean but itchy sheets.

I booked with this accommodation because of past reviews I had read. Room was very spacious, very clean and cosy. Large bathroom and also spacious kitchenette area. We had a very late check in and staff were more than happy to accommodate us even after hours. Would definitely stay here again.

Second time I have turned up and pre paid booking to then be turned away as booking not in Expedia system but not transferred to their system. However they did find me accommodation at a local bnb which was good. However I won’t book again through hotels.com if going to stay there as can’t guarantee this won’t happen again.

Bed was not as good as the last stay here, the bathroom sink very slow to drain! and its heater blowed cold air only!.
TV channels, just would not work apart from 2 regular channels and 3 sky channels, we followed all the directions in the book.

Close to town on main road with only a little early morning traffic noise, which was okay because I was up early anyway.

Single bed room was comfortable, plenty of space for a few days stay. Kitchen fully kitted, quality utensils and crockery. Bathroom well appointed and roomy with good lighting.

This was my second stay here and there will be more.

Close to town, 15 minute's walk, on the main road into town. Recently renovated, very comfortable digs. No traffic noise and barely any disturbance from the train in the 1st floor room I had. Big room, comfy bed, very good bathroom size, no adjacent room noises. Friendy owners and staff. Parking easy and spacious. This will be my go to accommodation in Pukekohe.

This hotel does not accept late night check ins.

Hotels.com did not state that the reception closed at 9pm. I rang the after hours bell and no one answered. There was a note posted to the door stating they were away from the office for a short time and if it was urgent to dial a number listed. After ringing the after hours bell and waiting for 15 mins, I call the number listed. I woke someone up who told me their office closed at 9. The gentleman was accommodating, but made it clear their office had closed. This was not stated on Hotels.com. I made the reservation well after 9pm - Hotels.com should have not given me this hotel as an option at that time of night. My issue is with the Hotels.com website not the hotel itself. Saying all that - the hotel was clean and the room was large. The beds were very comfortable. There is a train track nearby - so if you are a light sleeper, this might be a problem.

Had to wait 30 minutes to be able to check in as no one was around. Room was dirty with marks on walls and bugs every where and bathroom wasn't clean either, not up to a good clean standard you would expect for what you paid for the place. Not enough car parks as apparently its acceptable for vehicles with trailers to take up 5 plus car parks. Rooms weren't quiet and staff weren't friendly. Rooms let all the sound in and weren't at all quiet. We definitely won't be back.

The Motel Room

Bathroom doorstop hanging off, bathroom extractor needs replacing bit noisy, small mould patches on bathroom ceiling, no bathmat for shower so you don’t slip, no extractor fan in kitchen needs one because of the fire alarms, we had to opened lounge and kitchen widows so food smells and food smoke/heat can be extracted. Woken up by owners kids playing around the building not fair when it’s your holiday!
