My room was generally clean, tidy and nice. But it was right next to the office facing the door so you couldn't have the curtain open. It wasnot that private but there were few quests so ok. The place was generally ok but the property lacked greenery and poor design meant it was close to other people. The staff were friendly but couldn't speak English well so the transaction were brief.

The room was very clean and tidy. The only chair was far too low, the hot water needs adjusting down, the pathways are very uneven, the gardens were very overgrown. I needed to assist a guest as she could not reach the door bell to call the manager for assistance

The property was good for an overnight stay before flying out of Aukland the next day. The motel is located in a residential area where there is a short walk to stores and restaurants.
Although nothing special about the motel itself, we appreciated the easy drive to the airport the following day.

I wish I’d never booked this property and wish I had read the reviews first. I was taken in by the word “excellent” for ratings and the lovely bright photos online. It was disappointing in all aspects. Our unit had an awful smell, it felt dirty, the tv did not work (no matter how I tried and I’m savvy in this area), the toilet seat did not fit properly, the curtains did not adequately cover the windows and dragged on the floor, the car park is very tight. The solution for this property is a deep clean top to bottom; it would make a huge difference to guest comfort. I’m wondering if there are new managers here as I notice the recent reviews are negative whilst from a few years ago, they seem quite good.

Owner didn't speak much English and couldn't understand English. He didn't like me having a candle lit outside in the smoking area and asked me to extinguish it. Then showed me his phone and pointed to what I realized was an outdoor security camera implying that he was watching me.
Outside chairs were in bad condition.

Property was handy to what we were there for.
Place is slightly run down .
Need to put some work into the property.
Shower head was awfull. It fell off in the shower..
Cockroaches in the unit. We had to clean out our bags before leaving as 2 fell out of my wifes suitcase!!

A random walked into our back unit off the street.

Lucky i was there!!!! .

Would i stay there again ? ,yes but need to do some wrk on place and wrk on security etc.

Said they had skytv. But you had to buy channrls. Miss information

I would like to think they should put the pillows in the dump and get replacements as they were terrible.
There was 3 of us in the unit and none of us could sleep because of the horrible pillows.

Very handy having PaknSave across the road. The manager was friendly and helped me with tuning in my tv.. However he could not understand english which made it hard to communicate. There was a power tool going about 8 in the mornings in close proximity so noisy.

If we hadnt prepaid online (no alternative) would not have stayed. Not clean, tiny tv in kitchen area,sofa uncomfy,unclean.Shower didnt drain properly so water came under shower door. Cockroaches in bathroom, also loose floor tile. Only positive was bed was big and comfy. Overall would not recommend, will not stay again.

We haven't stayed here for approximately 4 years due to COVID, the place has changed cleanliness wise, I'm guessing the motel was used for people to stay in when they had nowhere else to go during COVID, very run down. Stains on the walls, and carpets were filthy the blinds wouldn't close properly so passers by could see into our room. The cord to close the blinds was fixed with sellotape, the beds were very uncomfortable. Our first night we were woken up by 4 guys drinking right outside our bedroom window and they didn't finally go down until 3am. I was going to go out and ask them nicely to move from outside our room but we had 3 children with us so I didn't want to risk us being in danger. This place must have new owners since our last stay few years back because the overall quality of the place was very run down and we were so un impressed for the price we paid per night was not worth it. We in the future will not come back .......what a shame !!!

Very bad weather, so that did not help. Friendly staff on check-in. Close walking into town. However, room 10 was very tired and only 2 Hangers, plus old soap still in shower. Grounds need work and could be kept much nicer. A basic Motel.

I stayed in the one person 'studio' and though the owners were concerned that it was not what I wanted and that I might have expected more, it was just what I wanted - somewhere to lay my head and sort out my luggage after flying in to Auckland. It is only for one person, and if you are that one person traveling alone, I can recommend it.
