It isn't terrible. But the Expedia rating on this hotel is misleading. It's a glorified motel. The room was pretty dirty. We found hair in multiple places. It really wasn't great and if we had known it was this rough we would've chosen a different place.

We were placed in a bottom corner room. Apparently it is the only room with 1 queen bed. It is smaller than the rest, had 1 window and you get no light because you are in the corner. The air conditioner was loud when it was on because the have the head of bed next to air conditioning. To watch the news or weather we needed to turn off the a/c. We paid full price for the room. Do not let them give you that room. When booking book a room with two beds even if you only need one or you will end up like us in the back closet room. They take advantage that they are in Moab and charge to much for the room.

I accidentally booked for the wrong date. Hotels.com said it was up to the property to refund my money, After calling Big Horn, they said it was up to Hotels.com. I did make a mistake but the fact I started to call right after I made the mistake and no one would refund the money is pretty bad.

No free breakfast but we enjoyed our breakfast at the restaurant next door. A/C worked well. Internet was working until late in the evening and there was no one at the desk to restart it. But we enjoyed our stay and the price was reasonable.

My only problem is the qalls seem tobbe made out of paper towels cause i could hear every litrle noise in both adjacent rooms and the street and whemwver someone would run a shower at 4am, itd sound like a train passing by my room. Im sensitive to the noise and light sleeper, if youre like me, you wont get any sleep here.

Allergies to animals require that we find a clean, pet-free room. Our host did not hesitate to offer a pre-occupancy review, but her speech and manners were assuring, so that was not necessary.
The room 242 was clean and well-furnished as advertised. It appeared to have been recently refurbished, and only the tell-tale spring silhouettes showing near the surface of the leather chair testified to its age. Nonetheless, the heater worked quickly to bring the room to 70, and we both slept comfortably under to bed linnens and blankets.
The Moab Grille abuts Big Horn Lodge office on its north side. Our host at the Grille, Gabriel, was welcoming and let us sit at a nearby table while awaiting some to-go soup.
