The staffs are friendly, the place is clean and its feel likes the old Lisbon which makes sense since it’s still in operation for 140 years. Everything is in walking distance and I feel safe. I especially love that’s it close to the park that have the mineral water.

Permanência de 1 dia. Boa localização. Recepcionista informou ser o hotel mais antigo do BR em funcionamento. Instalações simples, um tanto antiquado, mas atendeu o propósito de 1 pernoite. Localização central, próximo às principais atrações de uma cidade do corcuito das águas. Restaurante oferece jantar a custo razoável e não tem muitas opções na região.
Ponto forte é o atendimento. Recepcionistas bem treinados e muito atenciosos.
Barulho de hóspedes é inevitável por ser edificação antiga, sem recurso de isolamento acústico bem como a proximidade da piscina, mas sem incomodar no horário de 22:00 às 07:00 do dia seguinte.

Hotel razoável, café da manhã razoável, atendimento excelente. O Hotel retrata a situação de Caxambu, se estivesse situado em Belo Horizonte ou Rio de Janeiro sua diária seria metade do que é cobrado, mas como faltam opções em Caxambu acaba aproveitando a lei da oferta e procura.

Este hotel em que estou hospedado atualmente é incrível! Primeiramente, fiquei surpreso ao descobrir que o prédio foi construído há 140 anos atrás. No entanto, está muito bem conservado e pude desfrutar de uma estadia muito agradável. Cheguei tarde da noite, mas não senti qualquer insegurança, pude relaxar tranquilamente. Achamos incrível, hotel com aparência colonial e acomodações modernas, atendimento nota dez em todas as áreas, piscina aberta e afexhada aquecida, sauna, boas medidas do quarto, proximidade do Parque de Águas do comércio do Centro. Com certeza voltaremos

Decidimos ficar no HOTEL CAXAMBU pela sua história e beleza, mas chegando no HOTEL, vimos que não era só a beleza e sim, o atendimento super caloroso e afetuoso, todos no HOTEL foram muito gentis, agradeço muito muito mesmo o atendimento, a limpeza do quarto excepcional, a estrutura do HOTEL, são perfeitos, as piscinas tudo muito limpo e organizado, Agora o meus Parabéns vai para a confeiteira que fez um bolo delicioso, estava doce na medida certa, molhadinho na medida certa, gelado na medida certa, estava perfeito, ;), obrigada a todos desde o manobrista, recepção, atendentes, cozinheiros, muito muito Obrigada :)

At downtown and close everything. The room is tiny but to day stay is enough. The breakfast is perfect with protein and fruits. The lack of info is about parking; three blocks from hotel, dirty and drains problembecause lot of rains or infiltration water on floor so potencial dengue outbrake.

Pontos Positivos: O hotel é um lindo hotel histórico, mas que precisa de muitos reajustes. A grande vantagem é sua localização, não precisando do seu carro para nada. O principal ponto positivo do hotel é o excelente atendimento de alguns funcionários sendo o senhor que fica na portaria recebendo os hóspedes com muita prestatividade, os atendentes do bar da piscina e poucos que ficam circulando pelo hotel. Quarto confortável, amplo, banheiro espaçoso e limpeza impecável. Vista considerável. Piscinas boas.

Pontos negativos: Ao comprar um apartamento pelo site tire fotos, pois te alocam em outro completamente diferente do que você adquiriu. Nossa grande decepção: compramos um apartamento com uma varanda de frente para a piscina por um valor considerável alto, ao chegar fomos alocados em outro apartamento com a mesma denominação, mas que estava mais barato que o adquirido no site. Embora o apartamento fosse espaçoso, não achamos certo pelo que foi comprado. Ao me dirigir ao gerente, não tive minha dúvida sanada, senti muita enrolação em suas falas e a alegação foi que os sites de vendas pegam fotos aleatórias e jogam sem ter a noção de como são e que ao chegar ao hotel os recepcionistas fazem a distribuição dos apartamentos e que os apartamentos citados por mim era de vendas exclusivas do hotel, como era carnaval e eu fui descascar, não quis criar um clima desagradável e acabamos ficando onde nos alocaram.
Café da manhã péssimo. Sem variedades.

Ótima opção de hospedagem

O hotel é antigo, mas nem por isso perde seu charme e conforto. Fica muito bem localizado, a poucos passos do parque das águas, de supermercados, farmácias. Minha família ficou em 2 quartos, sendo um deles na ala antiga e o outro na área reformada. Ambos muito agradáveis. Os funcionários são gentis e atenciosos. Voltaremos.

O hotel tem uma estrutura antiga, até porque é o hotel mais antigo em atividade no Brasil mas os quartos são ótimos. A área de lazer é excelente, contando com piscina externa de ótimo tamanho e uma piscina interna aquecida, salão de jogos. O café da manhã é muito variado, contando com várias opções de frutas, sucos, pães, bolos... Tudo muito bem feito. Quando retorna a Caxambu com certeza este hotel será minha primeira opção.

Muito bom.

Foi uma boa estadia. Otimo café da manhã. Pessoal de atendimento muito gentil e prestativo. Troca de toalhas todos os dias. Gosto de assistir filmes na TV qdo estou no apto, porém não foi possível, pois além da TV ser muito pequena, só pegava 3 canais.

O hotel é muito bom. Sempre volto lá. Os funcionários muito simpático tudo organizado. Café maravilhoso. Duas observações: a piscina aquecida estava um pouco fria e senti falta de um dia de almoço pois eles não estavam com essa opção no hotel. Mas foi maravilhoso ficar lá. Muito obrigado.
