The hotel itself is lovely and you get what you need. A comfy bed, shower, friendly service and a pool.
The buffet dinner is ok but not great.
Be aware that it’s very hilly around the hotel but if you have a car or use Uber you can explore many great places around.
The staff has been wonderful!!

Parking was an issue. This was very walkable to the beach. There were not any places to shop at the beach or in the vicinity of the beach. Breakfast was wonderful. Dinner was limited in the menu and very expensive. The towels were insufficient. The staff was pleasant and helpful and very friendly.

I didn’t like the fact that the hotel cleaning staff was unprofessional. Check out is at 12:00 pm, so we decided to have breakfast and come back to the hotel around 11:00 am and then check out. The cleaning staff had removed our stuff and cleaned the room when we came back. The front desk had no idea what to do.

A generally good hotel with good rooms, excellent buffet breakfast, nice small pool and well located for the touristy places around the area. Service could be a little bit better; I email them twice before arriving to ask whether there was a kettle in the room and never got a reply and trying to get a refund for unused services was made much more complicated and stressful than it may have been. That aside it was a pretty good stay.

I very outdated conditions hotel.

Dear Hotels.com, as you see on the pic., I spent 2 nights at Hotel Londres in Cascais e Estoril site. The staff were very pleasant but the hotel conditions are somewhat of poor standards ! Room 318A, where I was allocated was extremely disappointing ! The room size is unacceptable ! The hairdryer as you in the pic., was in an awkward position next to the bed ! There was no toilet holder, no towel holder and no complementary hotel welcome pack !
Hotel Londres must have a cleaning supervisor to check the condition of pillows and mattresses cleanness, before new guests arrival !
There was a gathering put up by the hotel, with quite some visitors, around the pool area, indulging in CIGAR smoking, not stop and Whisky/ Port drinks! The horrendous smell of the strong unpleasant to guest, including myself lingered on the the rest of the day! Surely you ought to do this gatherings, with customers wellbeing in mind! I shall NEVER use Hotel Londres ever again, while visiting Cascais/ Estoril area !
I killed 4 mosquitos in my room, during the night. 3 while I tried to sleep with their noise near my ears and 1 when I got up monday am. I wonder when was 318A used prior to my stay !! Disappointed stay.

The only downside was there wasn’t really anything much near the hotel .. though it was less than 10 minutes walk to the beach at Estoril and 25 mins on an easy any beautiful beach front walk to Cascais.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel it was rather out of the way of things to do. It was very noisy with doors banging into the night. The shower did not stay on the holder very well and it flooded when used. Didn’t see a cleaner do our room in the time we stayed. Staff on front desk very helpful.We used the restaurant one night the food was not great for the price they charged.There was not much of a selection of food.

The room was not like the photo's and did not smell good at all. There was no parking nearby and the neighborhood was a bit shady. There was no one to help with luggage, and the staff was not attentive to our needs. I don't know how Expedia rated this hotel so high, it is quite dated and uncomfortable. We didn't even want to complain because it was very obvious that the situation could not get any better. I'm disappointed that EXPEDIA ranked this hotel so high.

Rooms on the lower level are an inconvenience to a taller person which should have been taken into account when seeing the guest is over six feet tall and those rooms are a step-up when entering the room and bathrooms. They changed the room but let's start guests off with a good feeling about their vacation stay. The beds are a little hard if you don't mind that and bathroom shower holder was broken and water was spraying everywhere unless you held it. Hotel would be very good with some upgrades.

Noisy and expensive

One word probably sums up the experience, noisy.
Day and night, noisy. From the road - cars and pedestrians, guests, cleaners. Not saying all can be helped, but this is something to bare in mind when 1) travelling with a toddler who bed time is earlier than most adults and 2) trying to sleep before completing an Ironman.
Location wise - the seafront promenade is located at the bottom of the road (along with a train station) with a 5 min walk. With another 20/30 mins walk along the promenade takes you straight into the centre of beautiful Cascias. (the walk has lot of great stops to eat for lunch).
All in all far too noisy for the the money we paid as a family.

Just back from a recent stay at this hotel. We landed early so had emailed in advance looking for a possible early check in-no response. Got to the hotel & no chance of an early check in so spent the morning in the garden near the pool. Pool & area around it, although nice & well kept, was very busy & loungers started to fill up before midday. A lot of kids bombing in the pool & making noise. Not really what we’d hoped for. Room was standard. Balcony had a tree blocking any view. Bathroom had a hand held shower head that if you tried to put up on the hook, flew off due to the pressure. Bar staff although extremely nice, we’re very inexperienced & there was a lot of confusion & sometimes a long wait for orders. Badly needed more experienced staff. Location was decent though, afew minutes walking distance from the centre of estoril at the top of a hill. It’s very much a 3 star hotel but the cost of the rooms is more like what you’d pay for in a 4 star. Slept well though as it was very quiet at night. Breakfast was basic continental,but fine.

Hotel Londres was a lovely pit stop for us. We wanted to spend some time at the beach after being in Lisbon central. It is local to the beach and restaurants. The staff were friendly with a complimentary drink at the bar upon check in. Breakfast was a variety of hot and cold foods to choose from which we enjoyed. The room was spacious, unfortunately we didn’t get the double bed we requested but the twins were comfortable enough. The shower was the best part for me with a waterfall shower head at the perfect temperature. It’s always handy having a balcony and as it was over the garden it was quieter. It was truly a lovely stay.

The hotel was listed as providing parking for guests. Technically this is true. Except for the fact that they only have three (3) spots on the street. Ridiculous.

We were very happy to stay at the hotel but not so happy being at the bottom of the hotel in the garden rooms.
Breakfast was very good.
We did find the hill difficult for walking at times and other \"older\" guests should be warned.
Lukas at Reception was most pleasant and helpful as was Raquel.
All in all a lovely time.

The breakfast was ok , but they charge extra for the use of the safety box. The nightly rate and lack of available parking was a pain. There was street parking and a meter that had to be paid between 9 am and 8 pm. The hotel itself is a “no frills” place. Clean, nice, 10 minute walk to the beach, train station, etc. But, for the price of €125 it was nothingness no special.

Nothing flash about this hotel at all but more than adequately equipped with tv & a/c in every room. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Food was fine, really well priced bar. About 10 mins stroll from the beaches and bars. Restaurants in Cascais or Monte Estoril (5 minutes walk). Super for a long weekend, great for a longer break (we were there 10 days). I’d be happy to recommend for both couples and families.

Very clean and the workers are attentive, it’s a ten minute walking distance to the beach, casino is a walking distance away and so is the pharmacy, the buffet food was alright not the greatest thing ever. I would say if you have time to travel Portugal restaurants are so good so you see the difference!

OK for short stay

Check-in on 03/06/2018 was a hassle as the male receptionist did not speak English and asked me to sign agreement saying I agree for the hotel to keep my details & use it for a month of my stay, when I asked why, female receptionist was called and said that this is new EU regulations, I was too tired to argue. The lady receptionist was unpleasant and in between spoke in Portuguese to the other guy, which I though was rude. If you don't want to deal with people in English - just state it 'clearly' on the website. I had 'a pleasure' to deal with the same lady on 06/06/2018 on check-out - again the same 'cold' attitude, no smile and didn't even bother asking if we liked the stay?!
Breakfast was 'continental', very basic and every day the same - not worth the price.
We had one free Dinner, but there was lack of variety of food. If we had to pay for it, I would not chose it. Canteen staff - polite and professional.
Hotel is located at very busy road, very noisy & polluted, a few buildings under construction there. Not nice to go back to after busy day.

Everything was great! Hot shower, comfortable bed (fantastic pillows), convenient bar, and beautiful pool. We opted to include breakfast, which was great- fruit, breads, cold meats & cheese plus eggs etc. Free welcome dinner was super. All staff we interacted with were kind and helpful. We were really happy with our choice and would absolutely recommend, especially if you want to relax at the hotel or wander to the beach or go to the casino-not much to do in Estoril it seems.

Staff is really friendly, location is great, because there are hop on hop off buses at walking distance. The front desk gave us free drinks. The bed is the best I've had in europe so far(compared to Spain, France, Netherlands) considering that I stay in budget hotels(why spend in an expensive hotel when you can spend in local food, tours and gifts, my 2 cents), the room was clean, shower worked great, the only down side is that the room smelled like somebody smoked in it, not too bad but noticible. Still that's 5/5 for me when I consider what I got against what I paid.

I spent 5 nights here whilst attending a conference at the nearby conference centre, and was very pleased with my stay. The hotel is close to both the conference centre and the beach, and is also easily accessible from the train station. The rooms are simple but comfortable and have everything you need. The shower in the bathroom is a really wonderful rainfall type showerhead. The buffet breakfast was more than adequate, and I also enjoyed the hotel bar. The pool isn't huge, but is great for a refreshing dip. All the staff I interacted with were really helpful and friendly, and I can't recommend it enough.

Hotel is pretty outdated, but clean. You can tell they're working on renovating, but they have a ways to go. Also, we didn't realize the location is actually in Estoril and not right in Cascais... not a big deal as it is a moderate walk or quick drive and it is still near the beaches.
