We love the personal touch that Richard and Simone provide. This was our second stay and most likely, not our last. It is a clean well appointed hotel with a mini bar stocked with items that help one relax :) Because we stay there visiting family, we haven’t used the rental bikes etc which ate a plus for using the Lilydale-Warburton trail.

Amazing stay at Warburton Motel
We went to Mt Donna Buang for our snow trip and the Redwood Forest and the river trail. It was an amazing experience to be in that country side. Highly recommend a short stay at Warburton Motel for a good night sleep. SInce its winter I was dead tired and slept from 7.30 pm to 7.30 am and off to work in Melb. Left my laptop lol and Richard texted me that Ive left my laptop and Ive to make a uturn to get it. Thanks once again Richard and Simone :) Will definately come back. O i love the bathroom organic handwashing liquid smelt so nice.

We absolutely loved our overnight stay at the Warburton Motel and our expectations were well exceeded! Our room was lovely and clean and every effort of the hosts was made to ensure our stay was a great one. We felt the motel gave our family the fun and adventure of camping, but with all the luxuries of a nice room (super comfy mattress too!) as opposed to roughing it in a tent. The kids enjoyed making huts out of sticks in the garden whilst we drank wine by the campfire. We can't wait to return!

Loved the Motel and hope to come back next year to stay longer. The Motel is immaculate and very comfy, our Host was extremely professional, easy self check in, all amenities we needed were there. Our stay at Wabourton motel was excellent. Richard and his wife are a perfect host, were very quick to help us with any questions. We had an enjoyable one night stay in the spa suite. We were so happy to be greeted by Simone and her gorgeous puppy Polly. (I would say this was the highlight of our Aus trip!) We were given lots of recommendations and followed them and had an amazing time in Warburton. This motel is absolutely stunning and well cared for. My partner had a great time riding up and down the Acheron way and we went for fabulous walks to the Lala falls, the rainforest gallery, the observation tower and the redwood forest. I’m so sad we didn’t spend more time in this gorgeous area and relaxing in the hotel. The outdoor grounds are beautiful and perfect for sipping a morning coffee or evening tipple. Just stunning. It was a pleasant overnight experience ....welcoming owner ,clean comfortable and peaceful . My only disappointment was that the advertised breakfast wasn’t available and hadn’t been for a long time . Necessitated a short drive into town to seek a suitable cafe in the early morning .

The perfect place for a getaway
Very comfortable beds and great mountain and garden views from the balcony area. The motel is set on a big block with hammocks, outdoor seating, and a beautiful lush garden. The owners are very nice and the motel has everything that you could need or want- secure bike storage, activities for children, and equipment to go floating down the river. I loved my stay here and will definitely return. I rode my bike to Warburton from Lilydale along the rail trail (40km along a mostly flat path) and stopped at the Blue Lotus water garden on the return ride- I highly recommend it as a weekend getaway.

Drive slow along Donna Buang road otherwise you will miss the entrance on the right. The motel set in gully and is an older style two storey. Richard was friendly and welcoming. The outside gardens had an area where you could sit and enjoy. Not a lot of road noise from the road. No designated car parking. The room was upstairs and had been refurbished. One set of stairs on either side of motel. Queen size bed which was comfortable. Table and chairs as well as tea/coffee facilities. Cultrey etc was available from reception. Small fridge due to cupboard space. The bathroom was small but had a new cabinet. Shower pressure was good. Wi Fi was good. No cooking in room. Main Street is about 1.6km from motel. 800m to the local IGA. About 10 mins to Yarra Junction to a Woolworths supermarket.
