Room was not in main hotel. There did not appear to be any sound proofing as I was disturbed by noise from the car park and early morning delivery vehicles. WiFi was very poor and unusable, had to sit in reception area to complete work assignments.

Outstanding hotel and location

Fantastic apartment /hotel. Really clean and spacious. Great facilities in the room. Very quiet inside. Breakfast quality really is outstanding and I’m no foodie usually. Parking is a bit tight for some of the ‘garage’ spaces (I have a v90) but thankfully I managed to grab on of the alternative spaces in the car park shortly after arriving. Aalst is such a nice and relaxing place with Tower Hotel being a 2 minute walk to the shopping precinct and lots of restaurants and bars.

Staff were absolutely amazing,
Breakfast has a wide range of food on the 6th floor with a balcony with lots of beautiful views.
Rooms were clean and well looked after.
Car parking was a bit of a squeeze but still managed to park.
Will definitely book next year.

I'm writing this review based on questions I had while looking to book. I booked a room for 3 adults. The room was clean and the second bed was assembled, the second bed was a convertible sofa, and although it was a double size bed I think it was only suitable for one person which was not an issue for us. The kitchen area was well set out, the fridge was quite spacious and there were cooking utensils and cutleries available for use. They also provided washing liquid and a sponge. There is parking although we didn't use it. All in all, I enjoyed my stay, There's a park 15-20 minutes from there which I saw on the home page, it was a nice walk and there's a LIDL close to the park which was a nice incentive.

Of our 5 European country trip, this was our favorite hotel to have stayed in. From the staff, facilities, rooms and services, they were bar none. The breakfast that came with our stay was wonderful! We would definitely choose to stay here again if we make it back that way.

The hotel was good, we were fine the first 2 days until they put a family on the above floor to our room. The children were running around screaming shouting at 3am, parents were rude to the receptionists, they were not listening and running wild. This continued for the rest of my stay. I was on less than 3hours sleep. However, I made a complaint to the hotel management who was not supportive at all and his answer was it is a business hotel and we cannot do anything except warn them of the noise. I also requested if they would move my room, which they were unable to do so. The receptionist mentioned that the manager will compensate me for the nights I have not slept but that never happened. I was very disappointed how this was handled as I had high expectations from the hotel. As the manger mentioned it was a business hotel, I believe if it was a business hotel then it should have been used for business purposes and not allow children run wild at 3am, when they have other customers who have gone there to have a break and relax.

Great and Wonderful Experience

It was an amazing experience . Hotel location and the great aroma that you will smell once you entered hotel and your room truly amazing. I am really impressed by the aroma and looking to have it at my home including the one related to gel cleansing and shower gel

Hotel location is almost in the middle of the hot shopping area which will save you a lot of money for transportation.

The only concern is related to breakfast price which is consider too high for a family that looking for a family gathering breakfast.

The hotel room itself is great. Some members of the staff were not friendly at all. The hotel has insufficient/wrong info on their advertisement. They haven’t included that you pay €10 per day for parking. And I was told they do not accept any size dog. I arrived with my two small dogs and they said they charge €15 per pet, whereas their advertisement says €15 per accommodation. I was helped by a very sweet young lady to resolve the issue. Not all of the staff were as helpful or polite sadly enough.

Absolute gem of a hotel! Easy on site parking, a very warm welcome, comfortable modern rooms with a/c, good shower, spotlessly clean and in a quiet area. I didn't have breakfast as I had to leave very early but I'm sure it would have been excellent! Literally can't fault the place!

Lift is only available in one of 2 blocks

Very convenient location, within walkable distance to shopping area. We were assigned to the adjacent lower block where no lift or elevator available. Have to carry our luggage to one floor up by stairs. For those who need to use the lift, must communicate with the hotel that you have to stay in the higher block where lift is available.

Good location, comfortable sleep and clean!

We traveled for a short trip. Our stay in Aalst allowed our travels to Brussels and Gent conveniently. Location of the hotel is closely to the train station, about a 5min walk. The hotels seems newly renovated, and it is really nice and clean. Bed and pillows are very comfortable too. Nice large showers large bathroom. No complaints. We ended up paying for their breakfast, since it was convenient and nothing really interesting nearby for breakfast. The scrambled egg on our first morning seemed really stale and old. The second morning was really fresh. So maybe a hit/miss. But overall food was pretty good. Still though, I felt 19 euro per person for breakfast (some toast, egg, bacon, cereal, yogurt) felt overpriced.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It's comfortable, quiet, spacious, clean, and in an excellent location, walking distance from train, city center, and major attractions. Staff were very attentive and friendly.
We did not take the breakfast because we felt it was a bit pricey, but we heard from others that it was excellent, and very generous. There is a small rooftop gym with a limited number of machines.
Some construction is still going on; we did not notice anything of it while we were there, but that may be due to the typical vacation time for construction workers in August in Belgium. We will certainly stay there again.

New hotel close to centre of town

One-night stay - room ok though a couple of niggles which may be because the hotel is new (eg. bathroom tap dispensed no cold water - only hot and very hot). Breakfast is extortionate for what is provided (mentioned at checkout) - the limited hot food looked as though it had been there for hours. Better to walk 5 mins into town and go to a cafe.

Great stay. Right in the centre of Aalst in walking distance of the Grand Markt and Hopmarkt. Really friendly staff, comfortable room and brilliant shower. Parking costs 10 euros a day which I think is a bit much but will still stay here again

Clean, efficient, and friendly service.

I recieved a friendly and quick welcome from this property. The rooms are clean and simple but all the right things work (A/C, hot water showers, etc.) . The building was basically new. The reception recommended an excellent and charming restaurant \"Allergro Ma Non Troppo\" just a minute away. The hotel is easily walkable from the train station. All and all, an efficient stay.

This hotel is very conveniently located in the village of Aalst, very close to the train station and the main central market. Rooms are clean and the hotel has a very cozy atmosphere to it. I did have an issue with the wifi at my room, because as soon as I closed the door the internet connection would be lost.

Good 4* hotel, very new. There is building in front of it but didn't disturb me. No a great view.
bedrooms are new, clean and functional, not very warm or cosy but I guess this was not intended in the design.
Breakfast was very average for a high price tag I thought.

Easily the best in Aalst

The pros:
- amazing location
- brand new
- modern and good amenities in the room
- very pleasant staff

The cons:
- it's still new so they are probably working out a few kinks in terms of a few minor things slipping by housekeeping
- they are working on an extension so construction noises
- breakfast is very expensive for what you get

Hot tip: close the windows AND the vents at the top or wake up too dozen mosquito bites.

Overall it was excellent. We will be back - especially considering that the only other hotel in Aalst could compare is terrible in comparison.

Dirty sock behind the curtain

It was a very busy area.Almost impossible to park nearby and it was a pay and diplay type of parking maximim stay for 2 hours.The hotel was is a little court so it was quite.There was an unplesant surprise behind the curtain.We found a dirty a sock left behind.How did they do the cleaning????

Decent business hotel in Aalst at last

Having stayed in the town on two other occasions at other \"hotels\" I was disappointed by the quality of rooms available. The Tower hotel is only one month old and that means everything is new. The building is modern, the rooms are stylishly furnished, wifi is excellent and the breakfast room at the top of the building affords a fantastic view of the entire town. All the staff were very friendly. I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I do business in the area.

. Nice hotel and good breakfast. We found it a bit far from the centers, whose public transport tickets are very expensive since we are 5, I recommend having a car to explore the nearby cities, but parking in the hotel is very expensive, 10€ per day, which is not indicated in the hotel description. We found it a bit hard one late evening, we asked the reception if it was still possible to order a coffee or a hot chocolate since we froze that night, she told us that it was already closed, we thanked her and went to the room, my husband called us because he was left to park the car, if we want coffee and she told us that she was serving a coffee at the reception, strange!
The sliding door of the bathroom in our room is difficult to close.
Overall we loved our stay.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Hotel an sich ist gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr umfangreich und für jeden was dabei.
Der Türrahmen zum Bad war leider nicht ganz sauber und das Sofabett war nicht sehr bequem und auch für Kinder nicht unbedingt geeignet, da zwischen Matratze und Armlehnen eine Riesen Lücke war, die wir dann mit Kissen stopfen mussten.

Sauberes, großzügiges Zimmer, sehr freundliches, lösungsorientiertes Personal (leider mit einer Ausnahme beim Servicepersonal vom Frühstück) und richtig gutes Frühstück mit großer Auswahl und sehr guter Qualität. Leider gab es einige Mängel im Zimmer, die trotz unseres Hinweises nicht behoben werden konnten (z.B. konnte die Klimaanlage nicht eingestellt werden, da der Knopf fehlte und wirklich gefährlich: Eine Steckdose ragte aus der Wand). Trotzdem waren wir insgesamt zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank!

Hotelli on moderni ja kaunis. Sen dijainti erinomsinen. Perhehuone oli tilava ja viihtyisä, 5-hengen perhe mshtui hyvin. Aamiainen oli runsas ja huippuluokkaa, näkymät 6. ylimmän kerroksen aamiaishuoneelta ja kattoterassilta olivat ipeat. Erinomainen hinta-laatusuhdr, duodittelen lämpimästi.
