Excellent stay at this chateau. Alan was lovely. Rung just before we arrived. We had a lovely swim in the pool, which is heated and looking at the sea. Room was very pleasant. Very safe parking for the car. Lovely quiet area. Easy walk to the local village. Recommended excellent place to eat that was great fun. We had left the lights on, on our car by accident. Alan was great, noticed this and rung twice to make sure we knew and so we didn't have a dead battery in the morning. Lovely breakfast in fantastic dining room. Easy check out. A definite if you like to stay at a chateau with a pool.

The property looks great on the website. Unfortunately we were given a very basic small room in the annex even though we had booked a premium room. The restaurant and bar were completely closed most of the time we were there. Nowhere to get a cold drink at the height of the heatwave!

An exceptional hotel
What an amazing hotel. I was allocated a room in the Chateau, and asked if there was a lift, as I have breathing problems. The manager was exceptionally helpful and transferred me to The Grange, a brand new extension that has been built adjacent. The facilities were of an exceptional good standard. The restaurant was fully booked when I arrived, but it was my fault that I hadn’t booked. The breakfast taken in the Chateau was very good.

Such an impressive looking house, lovely staff, we had a lovely room, quirky but with such a view over the pool. It’s very near the village.

At first sight the staff seem to be a bit too formal but along the way it turns out to be a château whith a very laid back loose staff that do care about hospitality. The sauna is a bit outdated but over all this is a brilliant lush to stay for two or three nights.

We had a nice stay here. The restaurant dinner was superb! The room was small but clean. The doors are the real old style that are charming but make a lot of noise when your neighbors are opening and closing. Overall we had a nice stay!

In the middle of nowhere with nobody else there
We arrived at this hotel to find it virtually in darkness. When we got in we found the only member of staff in reception who told us we were the only guests, there were no lights on anywhere and we would be alone in the hotel overnight as she would be going home! Someone would come in the morning if we wanted breakfast. The place smelt of fish. The room was like something from the 60s appalling altogether. We left immediately, half expecting Freddie Kruger to intervene. This was not a good experience.

Le must de cet hôtel, c'est l'accueil chaleureux par les propriétaires de ce petit château de caractère sur la côte de Jade. Avec vue sur la mer, piscine chauffée et intérieur charmant, le lieu a tout pour ravir. Les chambres sont en excellent état et parfaitement propres. Nous regrettons de n'avoir pas eu l'occasion de dîner sur place, mais reviendrons sans la moindre hésitation !

Ce n'est pas la vie de château !
Très déçus. La chambre dite au manoir est située dans une annexe et ne ressemble en rien a une chambre de château mais plutôt a celle d'un ibis standardisé. Pas de dîner possible en raison de la présence d'un groupe et comble du tout la piscine hors d'usage !

1ere nuit passée dans une petite chambre, dont les espaces de rangement étaient déjà occupés par des oreillers, une couverture, ...et donc, pour un séjour de plusieurs jours, c'est décevant. Pas de mini bar… quand il fait très chaude, il est impossible de mettre de l'eau au frais, par exemple. La planche du wc était cassée. La tenture trop petite ne couvrait pas complètement le cadre de la fenêtre et les spots de la cour ont éclairé la chambre toute la nuit. Enfin, le matin: plus de pain, ni de café… personne n'est venu \" ravitailler\" le buffet. Nous avons bénéficié ensuite d'une suite, mais avons dû payer un supplément. L'hôtel a bien besoin d'un petit coup de peinture, de réparations à gauche et à droite. Bref, c'est cher pour ce qui est proposé.

Hotel is pas van april 2019 van start en ze doen het heel goed. Kleine tip ter verbetering : kleine frigo op kamer en waterkoker voor thee/koffie toevoegen. We hadden niet altijd warm warm voor douche/bad.

Fast zwei Stunden Wartezeit, bis das Zimmer bei der Ankunft bezugsbereit war! Statt Zimmer mit Meersicht, Aussicht auf einen Hinterhof mit Parkplätzen und Tennisplatz. Die Parkplatzbeleuchtung scheint direkt ins Zimmer, die ganze Nacht! Es gab keine freien Tische zum Nachtessen. Das nächste Dorf ist 12 km entfernt. Das Frühstück war eher ungenügend. Vor allem ist die Sauberkeit der Räume zu bemängeln. Zudem wurde das Zimmer nicht gereinigt, die Betten nicht gemacht und die benutzten Handtücher wurden wieder aufgehängt. Insgesamt war der Service mangelhaft und inkompetent. Ein enttäuschender Aufenthalt und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist mangelhaft.
