Sketchy place to say the least. The property is right off the main freeway so some of the visitors appeared sketchy. The room was very smoky for an “non smoking room”. The pool was full a quarter of the way with green sludge (like in a horror movie) algae and dirt filled the water. We asked for a refund and checked out of the room within 30 min and was still charged $30. The bedsheets had yellow stains all over them. Old office chair in the corner of the room instead of a normal chair to sit in.

I liked the price and the parking lot was well lit. My coffee maker was missing pieces to work. Lighting was good but outdated and yellow. Room was clean, saw no pest. Furniture okay and functional but every surface had cigarette burns on them.

This hotel said that I would have a king bed with the letter couch they had a couch that you couldn't even let out because there was not enough room I asked for some cover just so my daughter can sleep on the couch and the woman at the front said it was too late to go get any cover so we had to sleep with no cover and roaches were there very nasty dingy the tub look horrible I would definitely not take a bath there I will not stay there again if the Lord say the same but no good service and the rooms were horrible.

There was a water issue at the property, so the room I reserved wasn't available. But they had a different room held for me, so all was good. The pool was closed while I was there, and the workers fixing the water were a little noisy. But overall, this was a nice place to stay, and the manager/owner was very nice and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again!

They overbooked the hotel by more than a hundred people and canceled all reservations made indirectly without notifying guests the night before the solar eclipse. I had no place to stay. They won’t answer their phone now when Expedia calls to confirm that they overbooked so that I can be compensated somehow, so I’ve gotten no help from the hotel.

I was denied a room at this location because the management at the hotel erred and overbooked. I understand mistakes happen but it’s truly indefensible on the part of management to not contact the people and let them know of this issue and inform them once the customer is at the property.

Location was very outdated. Pool under repair. Front desk clerk hard to understand.
Chair in room was broken furniture needed repair. After 7pm. Snall roaches came out. By 1pm large roaches and other critters came out. I left after 6am. Because roach crawled on bed. I was visiting a friend and i stayed at with him after the event. Very disappointed.

It does not serve breakfast as stated. The owner i think said,we close on the weekend. The area looks unsafe. Many occupants drink all night a play loud music. I should have read reviews 1st. This was for a friend who was stranded and had no money. The breakfast was what he needed and the quiet night to rest.

First off, I knew I was not getting a five star hotel when I booked. When we walked in the room, it was obviously dated (met expectations) but was really clean. Things went down from there. You will not have to worry about bed bugs. The bed was so uncomfortable I’m sure they wouldn’t even sleep there. The mattress was hard as a rock and had a thick plastic mattress protector on it that crinkled when you moved. Walls were paper thin, we heard noises from multiple rooms all night as well as lots of activity outside (car alarms, music and people talking). If you absolutely have to have a place to sleep, sleep in your car.

Stayed at a non-smoking room. First thing to notice is the room smells like smoke. Sheets and toppers are stained. Bathtub still had hair and grime in it. Loud music all throughout the night. Management had no desire to keep peace. Not sure housekeeping exists at this location and if it does, it is not a priority. Did have fridge and microwave and two beds with two pillows each. Lights all worked and so did the toilet and hot water (although pressure was another story). All in all, a subpar experience but you get what you pay for.

The room was in terrible condition. The refrigerator was rusted on the side facing the room. Cigarette burns on the dresser. The only positive thing I can say is the mattress appeared new and was comfortable. We had booked for two nights and left after the first night to get a better room. Would have not stayed the first night but we didn’t get in til 11:30 pm.

This hotel was not what there photo says it is. We checked in on a weds. And i had to clean the room looked like the only thing they did was change bedding. Smelled like smoke when it was a non smoking room. Nothing was dusted and i cleaned the ac filter bc it was nasty. Then on check out the next Thursday morning they would not give us our refund for the other 2 nights booked said we had to go through hotels.com dont stay here unless its a last resort.

Don't bother with the Suite.

Only thing they did for a suite was to put a couch facing a window instead of the second bed. Refridge didn't work till I moved and found it wasn't plugged in. Pool hasn't worked or been cleaned since last year. No breakfast. Not bad for a 1 - 2 star hotel. Pretty expensive for what we got. Know better than Econolodge in the future.

The entire visit was my 2nd worst ever. The bed and sheets were clean. My feet were black after taking a shower and walking barefoot on the floor. There were two chairs in the room, both were broken. I could see light outside around the door from inside. The outdoor pool had garbage in it. The structure was damaged apparently from some roof work. The walls inside our room were stained. DO NOT STAY HERE!

It was as expected. Pretty simple place with no frills. I was surprised by a full size fridge. The rooms aren’t big but if you’re looking for a safe bed and place to rest-this place is great. If you’re fancy and want mints on your pillow and high end bathroom showers-you’re not going to like it. I will stay here again next time I am in town. Checked in and upon inspection of the room. Bed looked like it had been slept in. Hair on the pillow and in the sink. A bloody napkin on the floor. My sister was pissed off. I couldn’t believe it!!! No fitted sheets just a regular sheet tucked around the mattress. Both comforters had dog hair on them. We didn’t bring any pets nor do we own any pets. It was horrible. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. The location just didn’t look clean. They advertised free breakfast!!! We went out to breakfast I didn’t want to eat anything from there. If the room is not clean we didn’t want to think about the cleanliness of the kitchen. Temple Tx Econo Lodge is definitely a No for us.

Comfortable Bed, Terrible Customer Service

My husband attempted to check us in with my ID and credit card. The attendant wasn't very polite and required that I come in. When I did, he then complained about my husband and proceeded to explain why I had to come inside. He was not apologetic, but acted offended and rude. If it weren't for the comfortable bed, I would have rated the stay much lower.
