You have to make a phone call to get into front door/room. Theres a risk the staff might not answer your call and you just get stranded on the street without having access to your room. I arrived in the late evening before check in time which was until 12am and called the staff via both phone and whatsapp and they never responded to my call.

When researching this property, I wanted something with high reviews that was close to a train station and the Vatican (which we wanted to visit). We found this place and it cost £125 (similar in € and $). The pictures fooled me into thinking that this was a boutique B&B, when in reality it felt like a 1-star hostel room.
The room itself was pretty basic. Floor had cracks (covered by a flimsy rug). Shower was ok but it was easy to pull the doors off. The Metro is nearby and you’ll hear and feel the vibration of the trains. There was no reception, and instead had to go through a convoluted check-in process. The AC only stayed on for 4 hours and we had to get up during the night to turn it back on. Breakfast was poor. A croissant, a tiny roll with cheese spread, a yoghurt pot, and either instant of over stewed coffee. One night was enough.
But, it is 10 mins walk from the Vatican, and very close to the metro if you need it.

We booked the superior triple room however there is little to no space for 3 people to fit. Many of the lights in that room does not work, you barely have any space in the room and shower, and the AC would constantly turn off during the night. The positive part of this stay is the workers as they are kind and bring you breakfast to your room.

There is no parking lot available, i had to look for a place. And the AC in one our 2 rooms was not working the first night. It was fixed after and it was good. There is no service on site.

I loved how close this was to shopping and restaurants, it was very difficult to find and get inside though the people who own it are very sweet and helpful though. We rented a car but it was hard to find any parking We used a parking garage nearby and just left car there and walked or used the Free Now taxi The place is on the 5th floor The rooms are small but clean. The breakfast is juice, yogurt and croissants (it wont be a full buffet as stated in the ad) If you dont have a car this place is excellent. It was our first time in Rome and we loved seeing and touring the Colosseum ( about a 20 minute taxi ride ( 20-25 euros one way) I give the owners 5 stars, but if you expect to park and unload you won't be able to. If you want convenience then this place is great.

It was very satisfying. You order breakfast to arrive in your room at the time of your choosing (any time between 8:30 and 9:30).
Outside there is a pizza shop just steps away, also an ice cream shop. Low price Souvenir stores right outside in all directions.
Metro station (Octaviano) is also just steps away.
The room is up in the fufth floor (via elevator) so there is no noise from the street. I don't know about the other rooms, but our room (Vanessa) didn't have any views.
The owner(s) were quick to respond to any questions. The breakfast staff were very kind and accomodating.
We received a lively surprise one night (from our hosts) as we were celebrating a milestone anniversary. It was very thoughtful of them.
The only improvement I would suggest is a bed that is a little higher off the ground for us folks with hips that are getting old.

We loved the friendly and helpful staff. We had a breakfast sandwich or freshly baked croissant or yogurt and fruit every morning. This was the first stop to our European vacation. This location was excellent. We could either walk or take the metro every where. We loved Rome and definitely recommend this B&B. Great value and super clean!

Amor B&B week away
The B&B was on the 5th floor of an apartment block, a little difficult to find, but very near the Ottiviano Metro and the Vatican with some good restaurants nearby but no pubs/bars as such. The metro was convenient and easy to travel to attractions etc. The rooms are clean and colourful, not as big as photos indicate. Water and coffee available in room plus sweets/fruit in the hall way. Alfredo and the owner were lovely people and very helpful and easy to chat with. The only downside was the breakfast which was pre-ordered and served in you room, this was repetitive and not much choice. It would have been better if they had made the hall way table into a breakfast table with guests being able to pick and chose what they wanted. The toiletries were sachets which is fine but to make it a real boutique B&B it would been nice to have had proper hotel style toiletries with the variety you normally get. Overall I would say good but lack a little extra that you would expect from a boutique B&B.

Everything was ok except that there was not soup to take a shower. Michelle is a great hoster, she will help you in anything you need. Shower too small. Some black dust was everywhere when arrived very late in the night, probably from ventilation.

I stayed here to be close to the Vatican. It is an easy walk to the Vatican Museum. Many restaurants in the area. Room is very tiny. It would be uncomfortable for 2 people. My room had a lot of noise from the alley and building behind. Many conversations going on all night. Staff was wonderful and it was a great value for what I needed. I would not have known to ring the buzzer on arrival, but thankfully another woman came in the door and helped me to reach the front desk.

For the moderate budget, this place is hard to beat. Very clean minimalist modern design that is an enjoyable break from the bustling outside. Perhaps could use a touch more comfort measures, but overall one of the most enjoyable places we stayed on a three week European vacation. The service and friendliness of the staff, Michelle and George, was exceptional. For the same price I don't think you can do better in that location.

Amor B&B is a very nice place. George and Michelle were friendly and very helpful. It is situated close to the Metro and the Vatican and within walking distance of most of the sights of Rome. Our room overlooked a busy street but was very quiet. There are restaurants and shopping close by. George served an excellent breakfast in our lovely room. We would highly recommend Amor B&B and hope to use it again ourselves.

Hotel was accomaditing for my purposes which was 1 night but I found it to be on a very busy street where there are lots of street vendors right in front. The staff (George) is very helpful and Michelle arranged my early morning taxi to the airport which was right on time! Could use some extra accomadations like a fridge, stand for luggage and a maybe a towel rack or table in the bathroom. Definetly liked the sound proof windows!

Amor is a small no frills B&B set in a condo building. It's a little hard to find so make sure you've got the address and you know where you're going.
The rooms are small and the bed isn't very comfortable but the service is friendly and it's convenient to a lot of the tourist attractions. Bien situé, propre, calme en chambre sur l'arrière du bâtiment, sur le devant assez bruyant, normal je pense pour une grande ville. Petit déjeuner bien, manque juste un choix de jus de fruits, seulement Orange en choix, à penser jus de pomme à l'avenir aussi. Bac de douche très en pente, attention a ne pas glisser lors de la sortie, chambre Vanessa pour indication.

Es war alles gut obwohl die Zimmer eine kleine Renovierung gebraucht hätten aber es war sauber. Der Person der alles.saubwr gehalten hat und den Frühstück vorbereitet hat war sehr nett und hatte immer eine offenes ohr für uns. Vielen lieben Dank dafür. Es ist also weiter zu empfehlen und es ist mittendrin in der Stadt mit viele geschäfte in der nähe und Möglichkeiten auch mit Öffentlichen Mittel weiter zu fahren .

年末年始に宿泊しました。海外のBBは初めてだったので、どうやってチェックインするのか不安でしたが、電話とメールで確認することが出来ました。電話ができる SIM を準備しておくと安心です！地下鉄から近いので空港や観光地へのアクセスは秀逸！バチカン市国からも近いのではじめてのローマにピッタリと思います☆朝食も毎朝美味しいクロワッサンを。朝食べれない時は柔軟に調整いただけて助かりました！またローマに来る時は宿泊したいです！

Localização privilegiada, próximo de metrô próximo de diversos pontos de interesse de alimentação e passeios, dá pra ir a pé no Vaticano e alguns pontos turísticos na volta, o quarto era de tamanho adequado, roupa de cama limpa, aquecedor funcionando, banheiro grande e limpo, café da manhã suficiente e muito bem preparado, atendimento ágil e rápido dos anfitriões e do pessoal de suporte também! Nosso quarto era o Emanuele e gostamos muito!

Como nao sabia que teria de fazer tudo on line desde o ckec-in ,cheguei na porta do hotel, e não sabia como entrar, pq nao tinha ninguem na recepção , foi horrivel ter de ficar na porta do hotel para entrar , até que um senhor de ima loja do lado ligou para a Dona vir abrir o quarto e entregar as chaves para nós. Achei o café da manhã tb muito ruim para 3 pessoas , muito reduzido, achei pessimo!

Molto gradita la presenza di minibar, caffettiera e teiera gratuiti (con caffè, tè, tisane e anche qualche snack). Personale molto gentile. Unica pecca: colazione servita in camera senza buffet, anche se la colazione era più che sufficiente! Senz'altro da tornarci!
