The hotel was great, good staff and clean room. The poor cleanliness score was because they allowed a dog into the breakfast room with a guest. It was not a service or assistant dog. What was totally disgusting was that the staff allowed the dog to eat out of a normal customer bowl, which I presume will be used by guests tomorrow. Dogs in the dining room is bad, allowing animals to use customer crockery is disgusting.

Stayed at hotel bell'arivo as it is ideally situated to explore the surrounding area. You overlook lake garda ferryport which is a minute's walk so you can travel to any of the towns on lake garda easily using the ferry. There is also a bus stop outside the hotel and the train station with connections to all the major cities is a 10 minute walk away. The staff are friendly and very helpful and the room was cleaned every day of our stay to a high standard. Particularly enjoyed breakfast (which was decent) on the outside terrace overlooking lake garda every day of our stay. You are in the hustle and bustle of peshiera so it does get noisy particularly in the evenings but for us the convenience of having everything on your doorstep made that worth it. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely stay.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days, and while the location is very convenient—close to ferries and in a walkable area—the experience was less than ideal. The hotel was clean, but unfortunately, I couldn’t get any sleep during my stay. The AC was not working, and when I asked about it, the staff informed me that the air conditioning was controlled by the entire building. Their solution was to open the windows for better air circulation, but this made the situation worse. The hotel is situated above a restaurant that stays open until 2:00 am, and the noise was unbearable. Between the heat and the noise, it was impossible to get any rest. Sadly, I will not be staying here again.

Lovely hotel close to train station and ferry.

Lovely hotel and great location next to the ferry to travel to other towns in Lake Garda, train station and next to local restaurants and shops. Hotel staff were very friendly and breakfast was really nice with various choices on the breakfast menu. The only downside was the air conditioning wasn’t working during our stay and we had to have the windows open through the night which was slightly noisy as the hotel was near the busy restaurant areas. Other than that a lovely hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were lovely and clean. The location was convenient, right across from the ferry dock. However, I did encounter a few issues that prevented me from giving it a perfect rating. The hotel did not have an iron, there was a water shortage at 9.30am that lasted for 20 minutes, and the AC was not working on the second day. Despite these setbacks, I would still rate my overall experience as 4 stars.

Clean rooms, friendly front desk, a. Amazing views, right by the river. Breakfast was adequate (nit expansive since it didn't appear they have a kitchen). Was able to get extra bottles of water. Front desk was able to call us taxis as there aren't any car rental places close by.

Just a quick overnight stay but our room was so amazing, I wish we'd have had the option to stay longer. The bed was so comfortable and the views were amazing. Breakfast was excellent and my husband said his coffee was the best he had on our whole trip! Would definitely return.

This is maybe the 4th/5th time we stayed here, we watched how the hotel has been transformed to old rickety beds to now new/more comfortable ones. Only downside? The parking is a 10-15 minutes walk. Ideal location; a view to “die for”; the lake, the tourists riding bikes/boating; all the summer fun activities. Gelaterias left, front and centre. One of the best breakfast!!!!

Too noisy!

The hotel was clean. It’s located right in the middle of the sites that is good. The lady at the front desk is not friendly at all, not mean but acts like you are bothering her. The walls are paper thin. Noise from the restaurant late into the night. You can hear the people next door going to the bathroom.

The location is great , right in the heart of it. The staff were lovely .

Lovely traditional hotel in a great location. The staff were very helpful and replied promptly to a couple of questions we had before we arrived. We had a family room which was spacious with a super view over the lake. Very clean throughout and nice comfy beds. Breakfast was ok, but also nice local cafes right on the doorstep for a coffee and croissant. We couldn’t fault the hotel or location at all, an absolutely perfect hotel in an enchanting town, we can’t wait to go back and highly recommend it.

Hotel reception was very welcoming. Staff are friendly, helpful and on the ball. Hotel is well laid out and comfortable with good restaurant facilities downstairs. Nice central location in the town overlooking the harbour and small but busy shopping area. All the best restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance, even for elderly people (which we are not) and the beach area to the west is well within walking distance for those a little more able. Lovely hotel in a lovely little harbour town.

Nice friendly stay in a great location

Lake Garda is not car friendly. There are too many of them as we discovered spending a full day driving around the lake. The hotel is in a brilliant location in Peschiera but parking is almost half a mile away. The hotel is in prime position overlooking the lake and the river flowing into it. Behind and beside the hotel is a pedestrian only set of streets lined with cafes, restaurants and tourist shops. So it was easy to explore the lovely old town and finish with a drink or meal.
The staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful. The room clean and comfortable and the bteakfast very good value.

Unbeatable location

The location is fabulous, across the street from the ferry pier, 2 minutes walk to bus stop that takes you anywhere you need to go in the region and around Lake Garda, Verona, etc. Walk within minutes of historic sites. The hotel room was smaller than advertised and room lighting horrible the reception area is about as big as a large closet, but the staff were nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very very good, especially for only 5 €.

Absolutely stunning location

Absolutely loved this little hotel. We stayed there for a week. Our room was cleaned every day and fresh towels were left. The staff were so friendly and helpful and I had emailed a few times to request a balcony and upper floor room and there was no problem we got a great room with a view of the canal. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the train station and there is a bus stop located over the road which makes it a great base for traveling around the lake and also to Venice. The breakfast in the Hotel was also lovely and there is plenty of restaurants and small bars near by. The hotel is also just a 10 minutes walk for two small beaches and from a lovely marina. I will definetly be returning next summer.
Top tip- visit the thermal spas in Lazise especially at night time they were amazing. Hotel reception will organise. A taxi for u they are well worth a trip and amazinf all lit up at night!!

Stayed for two nights as a family of four in a quad room. Room was large clean with a clean bathroom and great view.

Decor is not typical brand hotel but that's good, if I want to have the same appearance in every country then I'll book a big brand!

Bathrooms as other reviews have said are bright red and white.

Breakfast was very good, selection of meats, breads, croissants, yoghurts and fruit. All for five euros. This was continually refreshed right up to the end time of breakfast. Not sure why others have complained this was perfectly adequate for twice the price.

Awful hotel

First room we were given was directly above the bar which was very noisy. Asked if we could have a room on the top floor which the staff kindly organised. However street noise from pubs in the street was very loud and we were woken at the crack of dawn by the bins getting emptied (glass bottles!). Hotel itself needed redecorating and a good clean, found it dark and dingy. Only stayed here one night but that was more than enough! Would not advise anyone to stop here.

The hotel and staff are nice and friendly, just my stay was at the time of low temperature, and the only detail is that the room could be pre- heated, as it takes some time to reach a room temperature ... nothing else. Wonderful location, service polite, breakfast fresh and good, prepared for you.

Possibly the best view in Peschiera del Garda

A quick overnight stay in a quad bed room for our family.

The staff we pleasant and helpful. They all spoke excellent english, which was helpful when our Italian ran out.

The hotel is being modernised and the room we got was still awaiting refurbishment, so the decor was a bit dated. That said, the room was clean and well presented. however, any misgivings on the interior could be forgiven by the view. A 3rd floor corner room withs views across Lake Garda on one side and one of the Peschiera canals on the other, I think it had one of the best views in the town.

The hotel is right in the heart of the town and on the main road, but we didn't noticed significant traffic noise.

For its view and the central location alone I would recommend this solid 3 star hotel.

The room was clean, if a little darkly decorated (I'm told this is the 'Venetian' style). Air Con worked fine -essential whilst we were there (Aug 2013)!- Perfect location next to Harbour & Town. Staff were very friendly and helpful (most speaking excellent English). Despite other reviewers comments, the breakfast was a Continental buffet style and you could have as much as wanted. Decent value for a couple of Euros extra.

Nice hotel, very convienant location situated just on the edge of a pedestrian zone, with great restruants within walking distance. Listed as pet friendly but when arrived the staff informed me that my dog could not be left alone in the hotel room. After some consultation they asked the manager and was able to allow me to leave my dog unattended. Glad this was worked out locally or I would have had to found another hotel. The hotel front desk was very nice and worked with me to find a solution. Thanks Fabio.

Great View Not Great Hotel

When we arrived our room was ready and we were able to check in immediately. The room was very very dated. The mattress sagged and there was no shampoo or kleenex or other items except two small packets of liquid soap, no soap at the sink and if you used thesmall packets there was nothing for your shower. When you left your room you were required to leave your room key at the front desk along with the tv remote. The young lady that checked us in was polite but very pushy about us purchasing the breakfast in fact in the morning my husband went out to get us two coffees and when he returned she asked him why he did not purchase them at their restraurant. I must say the view from our room was lovely, and the hotel was very convenient to visit the town.

Die Lage vom Hotel ist sehr gut. Jedoch fällt die Auswahl vom Frühstück sehr klein aus.
Die Fensterplätze im Frühstücksraum waren sehr unappetitlich, da sehr viele kleine Fliegen und Spinnen sowohl am Fenster als auch auf den Tischen waren.
Im Großen und Ganzen ein gutes Hotel mit Mankos.

Erityisesti kiitosta siitä, että hotellilta tuli ennakkoon tieto Koronan aiheuttamista järjestelyistä sekä ohjeet auton pysäköinnistä. Erityiskiitos myös palvelusta, joka oli erinomaista. Aamupala oli Koronan takia erikoisjärjestelyin, mitta erittäin runsas, tuore ja hyvä. Huone oli mukava, näkymä sekä kylään että järvelle, mikä olikin mukava lisä. Lämmitysjärjestelmä toimi, sää oli sateinen ja kolkko. Pieni miinus siitä, että hotellin ennakkotiedoista poiketen peitto ei ollut untuvaa.

The hotel is centrally located in the old town next to the lake. Some rooms have great lake and river views. The hotel was recently renovated and the rooms were clean and modern. Free bottles of water (frizzante/naturel) were brought to the room every day. Very good and varied breakfast! Friendly staff. Traffic noise may interfere during the day and noise from the terrace at night.

Das hotel ist mitten in der Stadt, so ist es immer sehr laut, auch nachts. Das Zimmer hat etwas vermodert gerochen war aber ansonsten wunderschön eingerichtet, groß und komfortabel. Leider gab es kein Bügeleisen. Das Frühstück wiederum war sehr lecker, ausreichend, frisch und freundlich serviert.
