Hotel Beyfin was a great stay in just outside the historic centre of Cluj. I was able to make use of their parking on the second stay, which really helped, as street parking is tricky. The room was really comfy, with good WiFi, and the breakfast had ample selection. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, especially about the neighbourhood and parking. The hotel was under renovation in the lobby, but this didn't obstruct usage.

Hotel Beyfin, Cluj-Napoca - Not a True 4-Star Experience
We stayed at Hotel Beyfin for one night the day after Christmas, and while its central location by Avram Iancu Plaza is excellent, I couldn’t imagine staying here for longer.
Pros:
•Location: The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Cluj-Napoca, making it easy to explore the city. My executive room offered a nice view of the plaza, which was a highlight.
Cons:
•Facilities: The hotel is in serious need of repairs. There was an active leak above the shower in the bathroom, and the fittings throughout the room felt outdated and worn—definitely not reflective of a 4-star standard.
•Service: Despite being eligible for an upgrade, the staff refused to offer one, even mentioning they had superior rooms available and that the hotel wasn’t full. The “complimentary bottle of wine” was a miniature, airplane-sized, hardly what one would expect at a supposedly premium property.
•Parking: The hotel parking is overpriced, especially when cheaper options like street meters or nearby parking garages are readily available.
Cluj-Napoca itself is beautiful, and I look forward to returning to the city. However, I won’t be staying at Hotel Beyfin again. It has potential but needs significant improvements to truly deliver on its promise as a 4-star property.

Mixed Experience with Great Potential
I recently stayed at Beyfin and overall, my experience was positive, albeit with a notable hiccup. The hotel boasts a great location, offering a lovely view and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. However, an issue with the breakfast service left a significant blemish on an otherwise enjoyable stay.
The hotel failed to communicate that breakfast on Sundays is served only until 10 AM. Unfortunately, I was not informed of this timing upon check-in. When I inquired about having breakfast at 10 AM, I was met with a firm \"NO\" from the staff, which I found to be quite unprofessional. The lack of flexibility and understanding was disappointing, especially considering that my suite was supposed to include breakfast. As a result, I had to seek breakfast outside the hotel, which was an inconvenience and not in line with the expectations set by the accommodation.

Our well-appointed room's balcony overlooked beautiful Avram Iancu square with a fountain, the Orthodox Cathedral, the National Theatre, and other magnificent architecture. We loved our stay in the Forenzie Apartment (suite) at Hotel Beyfin. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. Our room was very spacious and had all the amenities needed. The location is perfect, which made it very easy to walk around the city. Our view from the front balcony of the city center was breathtaking. Make sure to visit the rooftop terrace for an amazing view of the city. The only issue we had was the parking situation. They have very small parking garage with about 7 spots. There was nothing stated on Expedia that parking needed to be reserved in advance. We had two cars and there was only one space available when we arrived. Luckily, we found another spot just outside the garage and were able to move that car into the garage the following morning. It worked out fine but just a heads up if you have a car to park. Make sure to reserve a spot in advance. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Beyfin when visiting Cluj.

Enjoyed our 1 night stay before flight at Beyfin Hotel. Great location and within walking distance to Central Cluj and it's main attraction. Parking was tricky to find and is not included in the room fee, it costs 5Eur per day and needs to be planned in advance with reception so that they give you details on how to access it. Hotel is on a main road so during peak hour difficult for a taxi to stop and drop you off with luggage. This was a bit stressfull. The hotel was very clean, the bed comfortable. Breakfast is very basic with few options.

Staff excellent- services great-,breakfast was only negative- rather bland unless you like 4 different types of eggs each day and no variation in what was offered- had dinner once and it was quite good/ the restaurant is more of a room without decor and contrary to the hotels website the rooftop restaurant is permanently closed-however this shouldn’t detract from the overall quality of the hotel -the hotel is located almost in the city center which you can reach within a 5 minute walk around the block where there are a number of very good restaurants. It is situated along a busy street and across the street from a cathedral. My stay was 10 days and from what I observed it is the best hotel in Cluj- definitely worth the stay more so if you like eggs everyday
