The second year we are staying here. We always found really good value. Everything was clean, parking was a plus and the breakfast was delicious. The room proved quite warm, and there was unfortunately quite a bit of noise, both from the cars on the street, and from people talking loudly, including at 3-4 in the morning. Because we stayed with a toddler, we couldn't use the A/C that much.

Best hotel in Pitesti

This boutique hotel is modern, comfortable and it is not lacking anything. You can have a delicious breakfast in their restaurant or on the terrace and the rooms are beautifully decorated and appointed. It is situated in the center of town close to restaurants and various stores. It is my third stay and it never disappoints.

We checked in for a night only. We picked this place cause of its excellent location. We stayed in room 8 ( no view ) but that didn't bother us and I must say I'd give it a 5* if i could. The guy at the reception was really friendly And explained everything in details . He also made sure we had our breakfast packed as we were leaving early in the morning !

very pleasant stay

we had originally booked thru hotels.com which showed queen size bed but when we got there, it was more of a double. when we mentioned to the front desk, it was rectified right away and were upgraded to bigger room without any issues. For the price we paid, it was stellar.
The place was immaculate clean(and i am a clean freak), breakfast was made to order which was delicious, coffee was so good and most of all, service overall was excellent.
we will definitly be going back whenever we return to pitesti.

Great hotel, right in the city centre and parking available. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and there is no noise at all even though the restaurant is downstairs. Highly recommended. It's a pity that they don't have more rooms.

Lovely find in Pitesti

The front room we had here was lovely and comfortable and we were not disturbed by any noise at night (Tuesday). The staff were all friendly and food in the outside bar/restaurant was lovely! We would definitely stay here again if returning to Pitesti

we had a wanderfull time at la strada hotel ' the staf was very helpfull , the brekfast was ok ,the locetion is perfect. at the city center . we had 3 rooms .

Not as advertised

Hotel advertised a suite. Upon arrival we discovered that this was instead a room and the hotel had no suites. When raising this. hotel was rude and argumentative. As we had arrived on a Saturday evening, it was too late for us to stay anywhere else. As the room was clean and the hotel said they would be nice to us we decided to give them a try. However, the hotel proceeded to be very rude to us throughout our time in the restaurant, despite us providing a generous tip.

I spoke to Expedia the following day who said that the room was indeed not as advertised, were incredibly apologetic and moved us to a more expensive hotel and paid the difference for our stay. Thankfully Expedia's great customer service saved our trip, which was a business trip.

I trust Expedia and the hotel will be removing 'suite' from their listings.

A surprise and delight

A superb small hotel /restaurant. The room exceeded expectations in style and comfort. Good lively restaurant/ bar and easy secure parking. Staff proud of their hotel and it really did show.
I commend this haven unreservedly. Did I mention the great value ?

Nice hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Withinwalking distace of most everything. Also very good restaurant. Parking is limited, but secue. It can be a little noisey at night being on one of the main streets.

Wonderful Hotel. The room was tastefully decorated and was very well appointed. The food in the hotels restaurant was excellent and well priced. We had dinner there both nights of our stay. The staff were attentative and nothing was too much trouble. A short stroll from the hotel was the local shops..... where you could buy anything you wanted

Nice boutique option

The hotel is located extremely centrally. It has only 9 rooms, each individually decorated. The rooms aren't very big, but very tall, which gives a nice impression. The materials are good quality, as are the toiletries, which are individually packed (not the silly \"stick to the wall\" kind).
The bed was firm and the sheet good, although a bit short (we asked for an extra, which came without a cover).
The breakfast was menu-based, with Romanian natural ingredients and was decent.
There are two potential issues with this hotel: one is the fact that they do not have permanent staff at the reception, but share staff with their restaurant below, which can create delays; the other is sound proofing, which in case of big parties is not perfect.
All in all however a very good option.

A fantastic and upscale place to stay in Pitesti

One of my best hotel experiences ever! We had a beautifully appointed, immaculate, and spacious room in a restored historic villa. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff that dealt smoothly with our late arrival and special dietary requests. Centrally located near pedestrian mall with free parking and wifi. Excellent restaurant / bar with free breakfast. We booked a room in Piesti just to break up a long drive, but I would go there again just to stay at the Strada for a couple of days. Fantastic!
