Disappointing. No staff was present upon arrival (1500) requiring me to wait for about 30 minutes to get a key. Worse, when I came back later in the evening, I was locked out since they failed to issue me a key card to enter.

Lovely place to stay, right in the middle of town with beautiful views of the mountains. The hotel owners were very kind and let us leave our car while we walked the Alta via 1. Breakfast was nice.

Quaint hotel - mixed review

While the hotel offered a mildly comfortable stay, there were a few areas where it fell short. The location was convenient, and the staff was friendly. However, the bed was uncomfortable, the Wi-Fi was unreliable, and the noise from the street made it difficult to sleep at times. The aesthetic was very dated and dark. The breakfast was very basic. Overall, it was a decent stay, but I would expect more for the price.

Overall a comfortable stay

The hotel is a bit dated inside but is comfortable and clean. We booked a standard double room. The description said it was 12sqm but it was certainly bigger than this so not sure if we got upgraded. It was very clean inside and the beds were comfortable, we slept very well. The shower had good pressure and hot water was plentiful. The balcony was a bit strange as it was just a small room attached to the bedroom in which you can stand and look out the window. The view was nice with the town and mountains in the background. Breakfast had a good continental selection. Dobbiaco is a small town but had a nice feel to it. We were staying the night prior to hiking the Alta Via 1 in the Dolomites. Overall I would recommend this hotel if visiting Dobbiaco.

Charming rustic room in great location

My double room was very comfortable and had a good sized room safe. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel for local and intercity buses. Center of town a short walk away.

A bit pricy for what you get.

The town of Dobbiaco turner out to be a lot quieter than expected with not much to do but it's only minutes away from more lively places. The hotel is a bit dated but clean and comfortable. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. A bit pricy for the quality perceived in my opinion.

Facility serves breakfast (and dinner). You can book both if you want. We were not aware of dinner and stumbled into it. The meal was good but there was a lot, so go hungry. Other guests were very friendly.

Delightful hotel in centre of Dobiacco.

We arrived late and in the middle of dinner time where a busy restaurant was also operated. We had several problems to solve before leaving the next day. Alice was exceptionally helpful with overseas phone calls, gluten free diet and making us very welcome. I truly couldn't thank her enough. Our rooms were clean, quiet, comfortable.

Das Hotel ist insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber dennoch sauber und insgesamt in einem Zustand.
Die ältere „Herrin“ des Hauses verhält sich auch leider so. Man wird in einem strengen Ton angegangen, wenn man Fragen hat. Auf die Frage, ob man im Saunabereich ein Handtuch bekommen könnte, weil diese aus waren, wurde mit nein beantwortet und auf die Handtücher im Zimmer verwiesen. Auf Lachen im im Hallenbad, wir waren alleine, wurde mit einem lauten Schrei „Ruhe“ reagiert…
Uns sieht das Hotel nicht wieder.

Die Gegend ist aber eine Reise wert!

A estadia foi boa, a esxperiência com o check-in não. Não havia ninguém na recepção e quem me atendeu foi uma atendente de bar, me pediu para deixar os passaportes com ela e deixou sobre o balcão onde haviam outros documentos de hóspedes. Pedi para que ela guardasse pois não me sentia confortável com meu documento exposto sem cuidado. Quando eu deixei a chave no hotel para sair me pediram que colocasse a chave junto com as outras sem nenhuma supervisão. Achei displicente pois qualquer outro hóspede ou não poderia acessar o local ( visto que estava sempre vazio) Precisei ir buscar algo que esqueci no carro e a garagem estava trancada as 9pm, me deram a chave para eu ir pela rua acessar a garagem (foi difícil ) Meu quarto estava sem o controle remoto da TV e eu tive mais uma vez recorrer a portaria, não havia ninguém e tive que ir atrás da funcionária. Era primavera e não houve necessidade de ar condicionado, mas se estivesse quente seria desagradável pois não tem ar condicionado

Hotel situato a pochi passi dalla stazione ferroviaria, e nelle immediate prossimità del capolinea degli autobus. Nel centro del paese, silenzioso, pulito con camere molto grandi. Ristorante e prima colazione con piatti squisiti e vari. Ma la vera punta di diamante sono i proprietari ed il personale di servizio: premurosi ed attenti ai clienti. Sicuramente saremo loro ospiti anche il prossimo anno!!!

It is a pity that despite this hotel having several qualities, some unpleasant situations weighed negatively in our evaluation.
The strengths were:
- the extreme kindness and sympathy of Maria (I believe she is the owner of the hotel)
- the understanding and kindness of the employee who takes care of the SPA
- the hearty breakfast, which compared to other hotels we stayed at, was undoubtedly the best
- the comfort of the room, including the view from the balcony
- the great location and the availability of easy parking near the hotel entrance
However.... as I said at the beginning, a very unpleasant situation made our stay lose its shine.
What has happened:
My 11-year-old son and I did a tour of almost a month around Italy. We passed by numerous hotels, few with a swimming pool. My son was very anxious about the possibility of enjoying the pool at this hotel and I even canceled some tours in the city precisely to have more time for him to enjoy this benefit.
We arrived at the hotel around 4pm and were told that the pool closed at 7pm. Okay, a little disappointing but we would still have 3 hours to enjoy it. When we arrived at the SPA, we realized that children are not welcome. We were told not to make any noise and to get into the pool without big dives. Okay, kind of discouraging for a kid, but we understand the situation. When we put our foot in the pool, however, what was our disappointment when we felt extremely cold water! In an indoor pool! Persone gentili, pulizia corretta, parcheggio poco organizzato, colazioni nulla da eccepire (cene non fatte per cui non posso dire nulla), problemi con il televisore manca il telecomando ne prestano uno che non funziona il secondo non andava sempre. arredi un pò vecchiotti, pezzo di piastrella rotta nel bagno, lampadina bruciata nella camera, manca qualche presa (dal comodino nessuna) frigo vuoto per cui usato la sua presa, avrebbe bisogno di più cura.

Gita a Dobbiaco

Ho trascorso una notte con la famiglia in bed&breakfast ci ha accolto la proprietaria in modo molto formale ed a mio parere anche poco cordiale. La colazione è sufficiente per quel che riguarda il,dolce e scarsa per il salato. Mentre le camere io avevo due superior era pulite ed il bagno in una aveva anche la finestra ed il balcone. Quelle nuit horrible : payer près de 170€ pour une literie aussi inconfortable est simplement inadmissible !!
Le check-in a été catastrophique. Notre réservation n'a pas été trouvé. Aucune explication sur le fonctionnement de la piscine, après une rude journée de randonnée nous ne pensions qu'à nous détendre dans la piscine : celle ci est sur réservation à cause du covid. Encore aurait il fallu nous prévenir ?
Personnel sympathique mais prestations et tarif à revoir. La clientèle germanique doit certainement se satisfaire de cet inconfort et de ce prix exorbitant.
Hôtel très très loin de ce que nous pouvons avoir en Italie.
Je vais faire une réclamation auprès hôtels.com

Hotel a gestione familiare situato in posizione comoda per visitare le Tre Cime di Lavaredo, il lago di Braies e Cortina.
Pro: camere pulite, colazione buona, personale cortese.
Contro: materasso scomodo.
L'hotel dispone anche di una spa (noi non ne abbiamo usufruito per mancanza di tempo) e di un parcheggio (piccolo, ma si riesce comunque a trovare posto lungo la via)

Posizione centrale, ottimale per raggiungere il lago di Braies, trovandosi nelle immediate vicinanze del capolinea dell'autobus. Camera pulita, ma il bagno è un prefabbricato con spazi molto ridotti; il letto eccesivamente piccolo e basso, materassi comunque comodi; colazione variegata, ma priva di torte e dolci; piscina chiude alle 17.00, dopodiché fino alle 19 è riservata solo ai clienti della spa, davvero un peccato perché dopo uma giornata di camminate per boschi e montagne, un bagno in piscina in tardo pomeriggio sarebbe molto gradito. Complessivamente soddisfacente per soggiorni brevi

Ci siamo recati a Dobbiaco per visitare il Lago di Braies.
Albergo in zona comoda, ottimo per fare una passeggiata in centro e raggiungere i vari ristoranti.
Colazione da migliorare.

Albergo al completo, ci han chiamato per proporci un appartamento in un paese vicino. Al nostro arrivo però era sporco e abbiamo dovuto tornare indietro per aprire alla signora delle pulizie! Poi non funzionava il telecomando, non c'era la possibilità di accendere il termosifone.... noi non ci siamo trovati bene nonostante il personale sia gentile e disponibile. la zona è meravigliosa.

Peccato per il brutto inizio

Purtroppo l’inizio non è’ stato dei migliori.
Appena arrivati la proprietaria voleva assegnarci anziché la camera prenotata (con largo anticipo e con lo stesso anticipo saldata) un appartamento (in uno stabile vicino all’hotel con tutte le scomodità del caso - doversi spostare all’esterno per utilizzare spa ed usufruire della colazione) o in alternativa una camera standard rimborsandoci la differenza
Alle mie proteste inizialmente mi è’ stato risposto che potevo rivolgermi ad altra struttura e che mi avrebbero restituito i soldi poi che un cliente che si trattiene una notte non può avanzare più di tante pretese
Alla fine avanzando l’ipotesi di una recensione negativa e di una causa legale miracolosamente la camera che fino a dieci minuti prima non era disponibile c’è stata.
Peccato perché l’hotel è’ in una bellissima

Il resto dei servizi lo ripeto buoni e anche la titolare alla fine si è’ dimostrata tutto sommato
