I’ve stayed here twice and both times there was an issue. Both times the issues were kind of out of their control but how the front desk staff handled them was really unacceptable. This last time, there was a power outage so they couldn’t honor reservations when I arrived to try to check in. Ok, no big deal, this stuff happens but they told me they tried to call a couple hours ago but no one answered. Again fine, but I asked why they didn’t leave a voicemail and I was just told it was because they were trying to everyone. It only takes 10-15 second to leave a voicemail and say they are having power issues and have to cancel the reservation and if there are any questions to call back. Simple and basic customer service. Instead of giving me plenty of time to make other arrangements I’m left with my metaphorical pant down. Please, just leave a voice mail next time. Easy.

I was told to go to a back building that was/is used for sleep study. The fire alarm went off each day I was there and a man who lived on the first floor said the alarm goes off daily. It was very hard to get internet service and there was no hair dryer. I am usually easy to please but this

The floors were soft and noticeably rotten and floor coverings were discolored and frayed. Water ran for fifteen minutes and didn’t get hot. Windows that opened had no screens and drapes were torn. Nice layout but very outdated for the incidentals hold of $100.

Horrible! We had three rooms and each room was nice enough and clean, but that is where the good ends. We had had various maintenance issues. One room had to switch rooms because the sink collapsed into the cabinet, the fan and light above the stove weren’t working, the kitchen sink barely drained and the door lock would stick. Our daughter’s room had her garbage disposal break and sink/dishwasher not work plus her shower stopped working all in the same day. That was fixed, only by the good graces of the maintenance man Nate. The staff was mean and not helpful. The did not care about the issues with the room and it was always a battle to get them to do anything. We also had two packages lost by the front desk that they couldn’t find mysteriously. The property outside was not on the best shape, plus the property is split into different building. It was a several minute walk outside to do laundry. Overall, never again will we stay here

Sheila was suppose to be a manager; but couldn't do anything. Useless. Another lady before us was yelling at her about roaches in her room & Shelia just stood there. And the Spanish girl who checked us in was soooo hard to understand also. The room was great (cept the dirty towels in the closet left from previous guests) OH & the fire alarms in the hallway going off, SO LOUD.. once at 8:40p & another at 12:30 midnight (got it all recorded) had to go sit in our cold cars till the building was clear by the FD. The FD said they come out to this hotel a lot due to guests smoking in their rooms. We went to complain & the dude at the front desk said to speak with Sheila or Brooke, & when coming into contact with Sheila, she sounded as dumb as she looked, saying sometimes guest spray body mist & that could’ve set it off, like WHAT?! & how could a manager not hear about the FD coming out to their hotel?? So now I have to call Brooke & hopefully we can get a discount or something, cause even though the staff sucked, the room & location was ideal. Just very upsetting to be woken up TWICE in the middle of the night cause this hotel can’t get their stuff together. & having very poor front desk staff to deal with doesn’t help either. And seriously, label yalls rooms/buildings better!! Had us circling twice to find our suite. Overall we will never stay here here

I stayed at Sonesta Suites for three nights. Overall, there were some positives worth noting. The mattresses were very comfortable, and the suite layout provided ample space, which made the stay physically comfortable and convenient.

However, there were several service and housekeeping issues that detracted from the experience. Upon arrival, there was no toilet paper in the room, and we had to request it. Only one paper coffee cup was provided for the suite. The room was stocked with two small bath towels, two hand towels, and two washcloths. When I asked for additional towels, I was told I would need to exchange the existing ones in order to receive more. After some hesitation, staff agreed to provide one additional hand towel, but the interaction felt unnecessarily restrictive.

I was also in the lobby when another guest called asking to speak with a manager, and the front desk staff’s tone was noticeably rude and dismissive. While I was told housekeeping service was available, no one came during our stay — which, given the overall experience, may have been for the best.

The physical comfort of the suite was good, but the level of service and attention to basic hospitality details did not meet expectations

Smelled the staff was lazy rude and useless stayed 13 days requested housekeeping 7 times never received anything not 1 cleaning U have to take out your own trash they don’t do it. Itinerary stated free breakfast and no breakfast at place. Parking lot was horrible barely plowed. Only stay there if you’re homeless and have no other place to go.

The bathroom stire was coming apart, tape was on door keep it together. Therefore, the bathroom door didn't clise at all. No utensils, plates, pots, glasses/cups. Had ask for ice tray. Carpet is dirty. Fireplace taped close with cardboard. Beds comfortable. Kitchen chair fabric needs be cleaned. Coffee maker did not work. Staff pleasant, friendly and helpful.

I work night shift at a hospital and needed to stay local in between shifts due to the weather. I was booked for 2 nights (I had to in order to sleep during the day) and they canceled my reservation bc I didnt check in until the morning after work. So I lost money for my 2 nights and had to pay for a 2bdrm loft in order to sleep. The room was 55 degrees and the upstairs where it warmed up faster, had hair all over the bed, pillows, and nightstand. When I spoke with the front desk person, she just kept telling me sorry, but I should feel lucky they had a room for me at all, and an upgraded one at that. I paid for the more expensive room and actually a whole other room too. I didn't feel lucky to be in a room that was so cold that I had to wait hours to sleep because it took that long to get warm in my sweatshirt, sweatpants, and coat. Nor, not be able to go sleep in the one bed upstairs that was actually warm because she could not come change the bed and there was no housekeeping there. I will NEVER stay here again or recommend this place to anyone! Worst hotel experience I have ever had!

Morning shift supervisor/manager, didn’t get her name is really nasty. The lead manager is very nice and understandable. Although I’m not a complainer, my room is filthy and nasty, coffee maker is nasty, bathroom has dried up blood running down the side of the toilet, bathroom floor has hair residue still stuck on the floor. Hair dye is on the carpet in front of the sink. Walls have makeup residue on them. Ceilings are accumulating dust balls. Behind the bed is stains with I don’t know what, maybe mold, I don’t know what it is!? Property gets a 3/10 in my book. Not going to say don’t book, but if you want to book then go ahead. This is just temporary for me to stay but I’ve booked with sonesta before and this is the first time I’ve seen sonesta like this. Amenities are great 10/10 because you get a whole kitchen but the inside of the refrigerator is nasty. I don’t want to store anything in it. Not to mention the third party I booked through keeps messing up my booking reservation “Agoda”. Through trivago. When I say I’m trying to hurry up and leave. I will asap

My first room was supposed to be a double queen and it looked terrible and smelled of smoke before i even got settled. I went down to the desk and asked to switch room in which they told me they didn’t have the availability. So i went down to a king studio suite and that room was slightly better. Also was shocked they didn’t have a breakfast too. Overall it was okay for a one night but anything over that i would stay somewhere else…

The pictures on the website are not accurate. This hotel is extremely outdated, rundown, and unclean. There were several large, 2ft+ wide dark stains on the carpet. There was long black hair in the bed and in the shower. The building we stayed in is a sleep lab for a local health system??? That's not mentioned anywhere on the website, either. Very unhappy. I know it was a cheap room booked last minute but it was much lower quality than I expected.

I rented a suite for the sole purpose of being able to cook while out of town. The suite had a full refrigerator and cooktop but there were no dishes, pots, pans, silverware, utensils etc…. I asked the front desk and was advised these items are not supplied by the hotel. Even after explaining that I flew in for four days and don’t typically fly with pots and pans in my luggage I was told there was nothing they could do. The suite was a waste of money since I was unable to use the kitchen and had to eat out every day. Additionally, a free breakfast was advertised but not provided and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I woke up with back pain every morning. Even the small amenities usually supplied by hotels such as body wash and shampoo were not provided. There was house keeper and no one ever came to replenish our towels or even remake our bed.

Staff were nice. The suite was so dirty: floors were sticky and turned my light colored socks brown, and a drywall screw and drywall dust were on the floor in the bathroom. The floor lamp was plugged into an outlet under the couch that wasn’t working. When we moved the couch to get to the outlet there was so much dust, leaves, and dirt. There were no dishes or silverware in the kitchenette. The fan over the oven couldn’t be turned off. There were three power outlets without covers.

Upon checking in, the woman at the front desk was very cold and seemed inconvenienced by us. When we got to our room, there was not only no bed skirt on the bed, but the bathroom didn't have shampoo, conditioner, hand soap or lotion. Additionally, the bathtub was urine stained and the sheer curtains on the window closest to our bed were shredded and tattered. While the bed was comfortable, we would have rather spent our money at another hotel given how poorly accommodated we felt.

Let's start here: The clerk at the desk was bored, indifferent and could really care less about the customers trying to check in.
Overtly clinical and not about to answer anything she deemed un-necessary.
The room - C'mon... No TP, Mouse trap & Bug Traps visible. Weak floor in Bathroom, Coffee Grounds - No Cups (had Lids tho!), take 2 flushes to clear the commode. well stained carpet... This would have been a great deal @ 49.99 per night - NOT what I had to pay and use points to get it at THAT price....

I do NOT recommend this place at all if you are expecting what the name implies (Something better than a roadside inn).

Although most of the staff was polite, I felt like management was more interested in pacifying me than actually resolving the issues. My stay started off with a fruit fly problem, which I ultimately resolved myself by purchasing traps from Walmart.

The much bigger issue was the Internet. My connection speed was consistently less than 1 Mbps, and the quality was rated as “very poor.” Instead of taking ownership, the manager repeatedly told me, “No one else has reported issues with the Internet,” as if that was supposed to make the problem feel acceptable or make me go away. He did connect me with the ISP, but they simply said the issue had been “escalated” and that someone would call me back — no one ever did.

This went on for six straight days. Eventually, the manager agreed to release me from the final eight days of my reservation so I could find another hotel.

Overall, the experience left me feeling dismissed rather than helped. While the staff was kind, the management’s approach to problem-solving needs serious improvement.

The best thing about this property was the staff. They are really friendly and helpful. The room was okay. Didn't expect much giving the rate. The bed was extremely hard. Not comfortable at all. I don’t know if it was just my building (2) but had no working heat, no hot water anytime I tried to shower and the WiFi would turn off every 30 minutes or so while I was trying to do work on a computer, had to use my phone hotspot which eventually ran out with my plan. If you need someone where to sleep and that’s all the beds are comfortable that’s the only good thing I can say

Parking was easy and near the entrance to the building. Room was fine for the one night I needed it but for a longer stay. One cupboard was painted shut, there were no silverware, pots, pans, no glasses and only 2 paper cups. The cubbords were bare, lol. And the tub looked like it some sticlies on the bottom that were removed but the glue was still there.
