We had a wonderful stay at the Chirping Cricket! Nicki is a warm and accommodating hostess who made us feel right at home. The included breakfasts were a highlight with her speciality Dutch Baby with fresh fruit and homemade cherry sauce 😊. The location was easy to find and while not really walkable to town it was just a few minute drive to downtown Peachland and its beaches and perfectly situated for getting to West Kelowna and the surrounding area. The outdoor areas do not disappoint providing a relaxing space after a day of exploring the Okanagan. We cannot wait to go back!

A small town with character is emphasized by the people who call it home. The Chirping Cricket definitely gave us the small town feel, warm, friendly, and very hospitable. We walked in as strangers amongst strangers and left with a beautiful memory, and made some new friends. Nicki has a beautiful home, and you can tell pride of ownership the minute you step through the front door. In the evening we enjoyed the company of total strangers we had met just hours before, sitting on the elevated covered deck with refreshments and snacks, talking like we had known each other for decades. That’s how warm and friendly the whole experience was. We can’t wait to visit again.

This was one of the best expeiences we have ever had at a B&B. Not just because of the excellant facilities, but the host Nickki was so wonderful. She has a knack at putting her guests at ease, and is very warm and friendly. We also enjoyed meeting the other guests and the gourmet breakfasts, especially the Dutch Babies. We can hardly wait to return for another visit.

Nikki was such an amazing host—super warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to when asking about places to check out nearby. The place was spotless, smelled great, and the air conditioning made it extra comfy. The breakfast she prepared was amazing, and the view from her place was just beautiful. It’s also in a great location—really close to the zipline, wineries, and in a lovely neighborhood that’s perfect for walking around. You can tell she puts a lot of care into making her guests feel at home. Would definitely stay at The Chirping Cricket again!

It’s very accessible from the main highway (97). It’s less than 5 minutes from the beautiful Peachland downtown. The town is a lot less hectic (and virtually no traffic) compared to Kelowna. Penticton and Oliver wineries are within reasonable driving distance.

The immediate community/neighbors seem friendly. There is almost endless views of Okanagan Lake from virtually anywhere.

Well, the stays are very satisfied, worth the price paid, free tasty breakfast changed daily, much better than the hotel continental free breakfast offered, the well decorated house located in quiet and safe neighborhood, room is clean and spacious, lake view in front of the house is gorgeous. Landlord is easy going and flexible to accommodate my special checkin and checkout request.

Upon arriving, I was met by Niki the owner. She showed me to my room and explained everything.
This lovely, quiet house, is situated only a few minutes above Peachland. It is on a very quiet road with great views of the lake.
I only stayed one night, as I was travelling, but I was very comfortable and treated like family by Niki.
I requested an early breakfast in the morning, and enjoyed a great, hot breakfast, outdoors, while enjoying the cool, calm morning air.
I will definitely stop there again on my next trip.

This bed and breakfast in Peachland is like a home away from home. The host is attentive, kind and responsive, and makes a wonderful hot breakfast, which is a real treat in this age of hotel \"continental breakfasts\". Bed was very comfortable, and the suite was spacious and well-stocked, with a stone masonry gas fireplace that added both warmth and character to the space.

As someone who travels frequently for business, I might suggest a deadbolt lock for each suite for peace of mind. I heartily recommend the Chirping Cricket for vacationers and business travelers alike, and wish the owner a great summer season ahead.

Our stay at the bed and breakfast was simply delightful, despite the wildfires raging in the vicinity. Nikki, our host, was exceptionally warm and hospitable, ensuring we felt completely at home.

A shining example of boutique hospitality

We were truly blown away by our stay. The innkeeper makes all the difference. She was so welcome, gracious, accommodating, and hospitable. She treated us as though we were members of her family. It was like staying with a dear, beloved relative. She invited us to pick cherries on the property and help ourselves. We were putting together some charcuterie to take to a picnic and she graciously insisted on lending us her board. This is the only place we would want to stay if we ever came back to the area!

Wonderful stay!

Nicole is a wonderful host! Her breakfast options are delicious and she cooks to her guests' dietary needs. The bathroom is shared which is the only downside, but cleaning supplies are provided. The house is in a quiet area and there is lots of parking. Highly recommend.

The chirping cricket was a great stay. The house is new and clean and Nicole goes out of her way to ensure her guests comfort. One minor issue was the limited Ac airflow to the bedrooms. Fans were provided but it made for hot sleeping conditions.
