It was a lovely hotel which I will recommend to friends and colleagues visiting Rhodes. The room was spacious and comfortable - it felt modern whilst remaining rustic and true to the traditional architecture surrounding it.

The staff were great, each person we spoke to was friendly, polite and eager to help, even offering recommendations for things to visit or places to eat. The complimentary pick up and drop off services were also much needed and appreciated in the Rhodes heat! :)

The hotel is situated just outside of the busy Rhodes old town, but you wouldn't know it as its quiet peaceful location atop a hill is in stark contrast to the town a short walk away, meaning that you can get your fill of the hustle and bustle of old town, retiring in the evening to the quiet and relaxing surroundings of the hotel.

One thing to note is the lovely rooftop seating area of this hotel where we had breakfast in the morning. The chef was really friendly and the selection and quality of the breakfast is amongst the best I've had in any hotel.

Wow, where to start...the people. The staff made the experience so pleasant, seamless and enjoyable. The breakfast chef who was most pleasant and accommodating started our day with a smile and a sated stomach. The front desk and cleaning team were wonderful and guest service oriented. Each room is one of a kind. Our room was very nice and exceeded our needs and expectations. The restaurant next door was one of the best of our trip. At the end of our stay an unplanned meeting and conversation with the photographer/owner were a special treat!

Beautiful and unique boutique hotel experience

Lovely hotel with a selection of individual rooms. Some aspects of our room were not terribly functional - steep steps up to the bedroom, shower at opposite end of room to sink and toilet, and a less than comfortable seating arrangement in the living area. But these are small things when everything else was great including the very comfortable mattress and the large amount of space. Breakfast was good- individually cooked eggs as well as a buffet spread. Yana on the front desk was so helpful with restaurant suggestions and other experience ideas. Would not hesitate to stay here on another trip to Rhodes.

A Must stay for Rhodes Old town

The Hotel has been a holiday highlight for our family. The rooms are spacious, well thought out and stylish. We stayed in the Master suite with the large rooftop terrace and Hot tub which the kids loved after a day exploring around the old town. Thank you so much for the special birthday cake, it was a real treat and delicious. The breakfast was amazing with such variety, I had to stop myself indulging into the cakes after the freshly cooked eggs and smoked salmon.

We visited the lovely restaurant opposite called Romelos which had freshly local fish served which was delicious.

I'd recommend visiting and upgrading your room if at all possible to make a magical stay in Rhodes.

If you like old wood smell, stay here. I get it, you are staying in the old town on Rhodes but room desperately needs an upgrade. Tired and dated. Smelled of old wood panelling. We stayed in the medieval villa “Places in Suspension’s” suite. More like suspension in time. Old musty furniture abounds. Pretty tacky. Having said that, the suite is huge! I mean HUGE! 160m sq. Living room and even a piano room. Multiple floors, 3 beds, 2 bathrooms, two patios. The patios were great! Hot tub on the top one. Great view of the city from there. Suite has all you need for your stay, fridge, stove, coffee pods, etc. bathrooms need special mention. Upstairs bathroom shower was dirty, with red mold all on the lower part of doors and walls. The downstairs bathroom was poorly laid out. Awkward. Door hit the bidet. Bath shower was narrow and at a steeper angle than standard so take care not to slip. Also faucet is aimed at your privates. So there’s that. With this price point and space there is no excuse for such poor bathrooms. Suite did have a washing machine. Nice feature. Staff member Mario was outstanding! He stored our luggage for us and arranged free transport out of the city. Very helpful.

We stayed in a lovely room with a private garden and hot tub. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, very comfortable bed. The garden was great to relax in after exploring.
Good tips on restaurants from the staff, and the little square the hotel sits in has some excellent choices of places to eat. The lady who makes breakfast was lovely!

It is also in a good location inside the old city and steps from very good restaurants and shopping. Best of all was Vasho, who served breakfast every morning with a bright smile. A Great Hotel in a Great Location.

We went for a one week stay in \"Forms of Light\". As we were only two people the room was a little large for us, it could sleep a family of five, however it's worth it as it comes with the whole roof terrace to enjoy, complete with hot tub and areas in which to relax and escape the hustle bustle of the old town. This space was essential for us as we specifically went to relax and unwind after a tough year, quiet space is not at a premium in Rhodes old town so the roof is a blessing. We spent hours enjoying the terrific views of the port and the cruise ships coming and going, normally with a glass of something in the beautiful sunshine. The hotel is very close to the old town and guests can easily walk to anywhere within the city walls within a few pleasant minutes, there is always a new street and route to find as you discover the intricacies of the street layout. The adjoining restaurant is of a very high quality and we ate some of the best food we had during our stay here, but the town is full of good eateries, and all within the familiar short walk. The breakfast at In Camera is exceptional and we were very well looked after by the resident cook who will attend to your every breakfast need. We used the hotel to book transfers to and from the airport and these were organised with ease for a reasonable price. We had a fantastic time here and would love to go again. I would highly recommend this hotel, the old town is alive with tourists and the people who live here.

Amazing hotel in the heart of Rhodes Town

Absolutely stunning 2 night stay in this hidden gem in the Old Rhodes town. The hotel vibe is traditional and modern at the same time. Our room and terrace with hot tub was very private with lot of things to do and see around. Plenty of restaurants and shops at the door step. The hotel offers something for everyone, there are board games, yoga equipment, hot tubs, stylish terrace with beautiful decor, they think of every small detail… relaxing music at the breakfast, free bottles of water with refill, friendly atmosphere, freshly cooked eggs for breakfast and many more. A big shout out to Marios at the reception and the lady at the breakfast who were absolutely brilliant. Thank you In Camera team.

I cannot say enough good things about InCamera! We missed our cruise from Athens so we flew to meet the boat and needed a hotel for the night! We were picked up by the hotel staff very late at night from the airport and we were so grateful to not have to worry with a taxi! Our room was very clean and beautifully decorated! The hotel is so charming and we had an amazing breakfast with a view of the castle! The hotel manager helped us to get to the cruise port and on our way. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and our experience!

Clean rooms and the Moonlight suite we booked was amazing with its own entrance, garden and outside jacuzzi. We have already decided to return next year and book the same room for a long weekend.

The hotel is a very small boutique hotel, our unit was spread over 3 floors with the bedroom on the top floor and the bathroom on the bottom floor, which is very uncomfortable at night especially. The steps are very narrow and very creaky. Otherwise, the staff was very attentive and breakfast very good.

Wow ,wow ,wow. From the moment we were picked up by Mario at the gates of the old town we were made to feel so welcome . The hotel is so different and is amazing . Our room into the light was really traditionsal with a big wrought iron bed and fabulous furniture . Gorgous power shower . There was complimentary fizz and champayne glasses which was a lovely touch . The lovely gardens and hot tub are stunning with views accross the old town.Location is central old town but down a quaint street with some gorgeous shops and restaurants. Breakfast was the nicest we had our whole holiday ,greeted pby a lovely lady who could not do enough for us . The location and views added to this . On our final day Mario gifted us an amazing hard backed book with photographs of Rhodes . We would definately stay here again and recommend to others . Fabulous location and unique photos throughout the property. I can go on for days about the great service, tasty breakfast, and the views! I highly recommend using the private auto transfer from ship port or airport. They even arranged our PCR test (done on site) before our departure. Just when I think it can't get any better, Marios gives us a gift with photos and book marks and history of Rhodes Town. This place is magical.

This is a spectacular property in the perfect spot for walks to the Old Town of Rhodes for the restaurants and shops. Given that the world is dealing with the pandemic, the manager, Marius, had everything under control with all health precautions in place. 2 amazing nights in Rhodes Old Town.

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our stay in Rhodes. The Hotel is located in a really nice area within the Old Town. Our room was a deluxe suite with Balcony (Nymph of Helios) it was so uniquely designed spread over 3 floors, very spacious, equipped with everything you could need, super comfy bed, the Bathroom was spectacular in the design of a Turkish Hammam. The whole property is totally unique, well kept, clean and beautifully designed throughout. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely and plentiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were happy to help with any requirements.

Perfectly located to explore the Old Town!

Fantastic staff who went out of their way to assist us. We arrived a day late due to a PLF mishap, but the staff were extremely helpful and helped rearrange our dates. The room was great and we used the jacuzzi a few times. Small touches like the brilliant breakfast and bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival, made this hotel our preferred choice for any future visits to Rhodes Old Town. Highly recommended!

We spent 11 nights at In Camera and I must say this property excels in several areas. It is in the perfect location because it is about 20 steps away from all of the restaurants all shopping. It is a 5 minute walk to the center of the Old Town. It is a twenty minute walk to a very nice local beach and public transportation is less than a 15 minute walk. We could not have asked for a better spot. The property itself is stunning! It is a former villa that was converted into a hotel. This was the owners former home and his daughter is an architect that designed the hotel with great care for detail and attention to every amenity possible. Pride of ownership is evident because of their attention to every detail. The property was spotless and mattress we had was heavenly. Every person that works there went out of their way to make our stay perfect and it was from the beginning to end. I could not recommend this place more. There is a sign at reception that says \"You come as guests but leave as friends.\" In most cases I would say that was hokey but in this case it is true. Perfection!

Had a really fantastic but short stay at In Camera. Marios was super helpful before our stay in arranging a transfer for us, as well as a little gift and surprise for my girlfriend's birthday. Michael who collected us from the port was really friendly and offered us some welcome tips for getting the best out of our short stay in Rhodes.

The suite itself is really special, beautifully designed with everything you could possibly need. The hot tub is a really nice feature especially with the fountain.

Marios will give you a list of local restaurants, which aren't out to rip you off, just provide good quality food at a fair and non-tourist price. Ta Kardasia, just around the corner from the hotel shouldn't be missed!

Hope to go back again soon, and stay at In Camera again sometime!

The hotel has an unorthodox layout with a number of quirky features, all of the rooms are unique. There is a lovely view of the castle from the balcony area, where they also serve breakfast. The jacuzzi is very welcoming after a tiring day exploring Rhodes old town, particularly in the summer heat; especially so if you treat yourself to a very reasonably priced chilled bottle of the local bubbly.

InCamera is a beautiful boutique hotel in Old Rhodes that is run by two sisters, Eirini and Verolucy, who really mean it when they say \"Come as guests, leave as friends.\" They will arrange tours for you and even offer to walk you to the gate where the bus stops to make sure that you don't miss anything. They offered to serve breakfast early so that I could enjoy it before leaving for the airport. Their goal is to make all their guests happy. All the staff is friendly and eager to please. The rooms are luxurious, comfortable and a vacation in themselves. The housekeepers are friendly, efficient and accommodating. The toiletries are high-end salon quality. Breakfast deserves a Michelin star. The chef, also named Eirini, serves a generous and delicious buffet. She will also make eggs and pancakes for you. Skip all that and enjoy espresso and the smooth Greek yogurt with walnuts and her father's honey. The view from the breakfast terrace was so beautiful and soothing that I wanted to sit there all day. But there are too many other sights to enjoy in Rhodes, especially walking along the harbor and exploring the shops and cafes in the new town. They present each guest with a list of restaurants in both the old and new towns which are frequented by the locals. Nearby restaurants will quickly become favorites. Try the Thai pineapple fried rice and the exquisite cauliflower soup at nearby To Marouli and buy their cookbook. Believe that you live at InCamera Art Hotel.

The hotel was perfectly located in Old Town. Close to the main square, shopping, food and nightlife but far enough not to heat it at 6am. Staff was very accommodating, super friendly and helpful. If you’re planning a trip to Rhodes stay here!

I cannot say enough good things about the hotel, location, staff and the owners. My wife and I travelled to various islands in Greece for our honeymoon, all of the other hotels weren’t in the same category as the In Camera Art Boutique hotel, yet they were all much more expensive. In Camera Art Boutique Hotel - Superb atmosphere

My partner and I enjoyed our week's stay at the In Camera Art Boutique Hotel immensely. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff could not have been kinder or more helpful, gong well beyond the call of duty in advising us and helping us to find the things and experiences we wanted. The hotel is set in the Old Town in Rhodes, within easy reach of the sights and tourist facilities, and of many excellent restaurants. We appreciated the hotel arranging transfers for us from and to the airport, with a door-to-door service, whereas buses, minibuses and even most taxis will not or cannot venture into the narrow streets of the old town.

If you can find a better hotel in the old town of Rodos, I would be shocked. We are finishing a trip to the Greek Islands in Rhodes next year just so we can see the family and stay at this hotel. The rooms are great, there is a chef to make you a wonderful breakfast, the location is perfect, and the sisters make you part of the family. What else is there???

Perfect location and amazing staff

We stayed here for three nights so we could explore the old town. The hotel was in a perfect location and the room was comfortable and kept spotless. The building itself is cleverly designed and the owners and staff are friendly and attentive, they couldn't do enough for you. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone and we'll definitely be back.
