The property was in a great location, staff was super helpful and I enjoyed the hotel decor. My biggest complaint was the cleanliness of the pool loungers and cabanas. The pool loungers, pillows, cabana benches and curtains were visibly dirty. The property charges a daily resort/amenity fee, so it’s an expectation that these items shouldn’t be filthy. When I visited the pool, staff were scrubbing the loungers, but the dirt on all of the poolside furniture had accumulated over time. Additionally, the hotel was undergoing a management change when I visited. Hopefully the pool furniture will be better maintained with the shift in management.

An incredibly cute hotel. Very close to the beach, you can walk. Only a few minutes. The hotel was very clean with a lot of character! The front desk staff was very polite and allowed us to check in early so we could leave our luggage and go out to explore. There is a pool party with a DJ ever Friday Saturday and Sunday. It was a very fun vibe. The rooms are cute with a lot of character. They are very small. We however didn't care because we were just sleeping and showering there. Its a great location and allows you to walk to a lot of great shops and restaurants. We would definitely choose this hotel again in the future!

The rooms are very small; keep that in mind if you're two people with larger suitcases. The pool parties are very expensive, costing $800 for a bed. During the pool party, food and drink prices were double what they normally are. The staff was really rude, and as a result, the service was also poor.

Overall, the property was very cute, girly and aesthetically pleasing. A lot of places to take photos in addition to a restaurant, bar, and pool. My only complaint would be the functionality of the shower. The way the shower was set up made the floors flood each time we showered, and the floor mat became soaking wet. There is also no counter space in the bathroom. Overall, great stay.

Room was noisy with rattling sound coming from hvac unit. Bed was wobbly. Outlets were loose so the slightest movement disconnected the wire

There was visible mold on the pool chairs, which was very concerning, and the floors throughout the property were noticeably dirty. While the hotel has a lot of potential based on its looks, the lack of proper upkeep and sanitation made the stay disappointing.

I loved my stay at Goodtime Hotel. The room was gorgeous, the bath products were luxe and the staff were very helpful. It was a smaller room, but that is easily recognizable by looking at pics and it was all that I needed (or I would've booked a larger room). I felt for Miami Beach on a Friday, the price was fair. I didn't have time to use the pool, but that area looked really nice. The library area is a nice touch. The property called me to let me know my room was ready early and they were happy to hold my bags while I was waiting. One thing to note is that the deposit will be equivalent to your night's stay, but I was refunded/hold was lifted the next day after checking out. That will depend on your bank - better to use a credit card than your bank card as I believe those holds are lifted sooner. Enjoyed my stay and would happily stay there again!

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It’s very expensive for what you actually get, especially with all the hidden fees. They charge daily for self-parking in an open lot (with plenty of space), and many amenities come with extra costs that aren’t worth it.

The location is inconvenient—far from the beach and most activities. The hotel itself feels plain and not at all like a 5-star experience. The rooftop was mostly closed during my stay, yet you’re still paying for it as part of the amenities.

The “clubhouse” is basic (two pools and courts you likely won’t use), the bar is just okay with unfriendly staff, and the food—especially breakfast—is overpriced and underwhelming.

Cleanliness and service were disappointing. I found a bug in my room, and the staff didn’t seem to care. I also had to request housekeeping daily, which should be standard.

Only complaint is the website said there was a section of the beach that had chairs for hotel guests but when I asked at front desk where that was they just handed me a beach chair that I had to carry to the beach myself . Pool area is amazing, I was there during the week and could have any chaise lounger I wanted and it was so comfortable . I will absolutely stay again!

It’s a beautiful hotel… We were in a room that was ADA compliant… So we did not have a glass protected wall in the shower… Just a very small little shower curtain and every time we showered there was water absolutely everywhere… Told the front desk that we would need more towels or if we could get a second shower curtain added just to try to stop some of the water… They were slow to respond. Also on Friday, Saturday and Sunday… There is a pool party that outside people are allowed to purchase a ticket to attend… So the pool area was very busy… Which absolutely can be a lot of fun, but there are only 10 lounge chairs available for hotel guests to sit in that don’t cost money. Every single pool bed or pool chair or pool sofa was all had to be paid for so if you did not get there early and get one of the pool loungers… There was nowhere to sit unless you just sat in the pool or on the ground by the pool… Pool parties a lot of fun… Very lively… But just be prepared.

The hotel has a great location — both the beach and Ocean Drive are within easy walking distance, which made getting around very convenient. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free, and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep.
On the downside, the room was quite small and not soundproof. We could clearly hear music from the neighborhood, which was a bit disruptive. The breakfast was good in terms of quality, but the price was very high — even considering the prime location.

To start, staff at check in laughed at me for requesting an early check in stating there was a queue despite me being the only person in the lobby, only for there to be a shift change and to be quickly accommodated less than one hour later. No Prosecco as promised upon arrival. $45 daily resort fee that does not provide any amenities because there are only 8 first come, first serve pool lounge chairs, nor does it provide any beach chairs since they are also first come, first serve & despite advertising a \"partnership\" with Boucher Brothers on the beach, it still cost me $100+ for two beach chairs, one umbrella and two waters, so remind me again of the resort fee's purpose when this hotel could hardly be described as a resort? Not to mention this hotel advertises itself as something it's not - it falls very short of being a luxury boutique hotel with direct beach access when in reality it's located in an alleyway & you have to walk several blocks to get to a public beach. The room was not clean on arrival, there were 4 cans and a used beverage cup in the fridge and the bathroom products were not stocked nor refreshed at any point during the stay unless specifically requested. The shower quite literally flooded the entryway every time it was used to the point that when the floorboards near the bathroom door were stepped on, water seeped out from under them. Also for being located in an alleyway, the hotel is not secure even at late night hours. Have a goodtime elsewhere!

They said that they’d take mostly 30 min which after an hour 30 I went down to the lobby and the room was ready and they had never given us a call. We needed a hotel for the College Football Championship game and completely hit the jackpot. This is an amazing hotel in the absolute best location. The decor aligns with the feel of Miami and its cool vibe with pinks and beautiful accents (wicker lamps, poofs with finge, etc.). We enjoyed the gorgeous pool despite a few morning sprinkles. Hector and Diego accommodated our drink requests also providing good information on the pool party at Strawberry Moon. The happy hour menu is exactly what we needed with a few bites at very reasonable prices. We’d read the rooms are small but didn’t feel cramped in any way. There’s plenty of room for two people with a well-designed use of space. I even took a work conference call in the library which provided a comfortable and accommodating space with a bonus beautiful backdrop. Finally, the physical gym space is small but again, the hotel thoughtfully made it accessible to an outdoor deck to enjoy a view while you work out. The goodtime provided the BEST time!

This was a busy weekend, College National Champioships, lots of parties, and Pool parties were outstanding!!! I arrived an hour or so after check-in time and was told no room was available. I needed to take two work zoom calls and needed quiet and privacy so the public space options would not work. Thankfully, it got resolved but I did have to be persistent. Also, the check-in process was super slow. It took about 30 minutes for them to check in two other guests. Then, when it came to breakfast…I order their signature omelette meal and ask for mushrooms and onions. They don’t have mushrooms. Then, I switch to the signature egg dish that offers chicken sausage as a side. No chicken sausage. The service in general was lackluster given that it was not busy. People were not friendly as I would expect given the perceived vibe of the hotel. Now, the pool. They make a big deal about it but unless you’re paying $1000 or more dollars, don’t expect much. The small section for paying guests fills up quickly and has little shade. On my last day, as I’m walking down the halls I notice dirt on the walls as if a drunk person came back from the beach and left their trail. I’d assume that housekeeping would be on that immediately. It didn’t seem as if anyone cared. Overall, I was not impressed with the hotel and even left early because I was not having a good time.

I had a great experience at this hotel overall. The location was perfect — close to everything I needed, and super convenient. The room was very clean, modern, and surprisingly quiet. You couldn’t hear people walking by in the hallways at all, which made for a really restful stay.
The only downside was the valet service. The staff was rarely out front, and even when I used the text service to request my car, it was never actually ready. I had to go find someone and ask them to retrieve it. One time, they even handed me the keys to someone else’s car, which was a bit concerning.
Other than that, I’d definitely stay here again. Just hope they tighten up the valet situation.
