The Midnight Sun Inn is a 3 story house each floor is equipped with a large kitchen, fridge, oven, sink several pots, pans and utensils and full bathroom, extra seating and space in the kitchens area for shared gatherings. The top floor has coin operated laundry, I noticed a sign for dishwashing machine but I washed my cups and spoons in the local sink, I am not sure which floor(s) have them. I felt very comfortable and got a very restful sleep each of 3 nights. It was like living in a condo I could hear foot falls from the stairs sometimes. I counted 17 pairs of shoes at the front entrance that were staying on my 2nd and 3rd day. I walked the house on my first day lots of windows and in warmer weather they have small decks to walk out on. I liked this much better than a motel.

This is more of a vacation rental than an “inn”. I stayed here twice in late September, both times got sent to a separate property several blocks away from the one pictured. It’s effectively 4-5 bedroom/bathroom units, sharing a common kitchen/dining area. Nothing wrong with that, but not what I expected.
Maintenance was quite good, but the check in procedure was awkward—go to the posted address, and the owner hands you your receipt with the address of the place you’ll actually be staying hand written on the back, along with the pass code for the entry door. The first time, the owner forgot to write down which room to go to, and I wound up walking in on a couple that had already checked in.

This property is very much like a short term stay facility. There are a number og buildings. The one we were in was nearly new. We had a nice bedroom and bath. Just outdode the door was a kitchen/fining area that could be used by all those staying. Beds were comfortable, room was clean.

It is in a new building with a well equipped kitchen and living room. The rooms were modest and the TV did not sppear to carry many live channels, no sports channels. There was no reception on the premises, so no suggestions about Whitehorse were available.

The host is friendly and helpful; however, the property is outdated and in need of renovation. There is no dishwasher in the kitchen, so guests are required to wash their dishes and cups after use, which often leaves them not fully clean. This was a four bedroom condo. Each bedroom can be locked and has its own bathroom. The kitchen is shared. It was a little unkept, very dusty outside the building. In part due to the gravel roads t. It needs cleaning outside more often. We had to squeeze our can into a parking space. There was a guy smoking a vape pipe outside which shocked me. That is illegal where we come from. Other than the polyester sheets the bedroom was very comfortable, the bed great and the whole inside of the building was spotless

As others have noted, this is not a typical hotel/motel. Rather it is rooms in a residential building with a completely stocked common kitchen, dining room, and lounge, very nice! The rooms have a private bath and mini fridge and are exceptionally modern and clean.
My only concern is the extremely hard water, I would suggest a water softner should be installed. This would also prevent damage to the plumbing and fixtures.

Needed for a one night stay prior to a very early airport departure the next morning. When I called to inquire the host was fine, but never explained the unit we would be staying in was a shared one. It was a bedroom with its own bathroom but everything else was shared. When we arrived it was confusing. We were about to enter what we believed to be our unit but a gentleman came out so we thought we had the wrong place. We used the door code on another unit and the door opened. To our surprise, and the guys inside, we had the wrong place. Finally I called the host and this is when I learned it was a shared unit. Due to our very early flight departure we had to go to bed early. I did not sleep well as I could hear the other couple doing laundry, etc. Definitely not our idea of a great stay or recommendation.

I stayed 2 nights. It cost less than other options in town, but I hardly slept because of allergy problems. The room wasn't cleaned properly. I asked for the woman's vacuum after the 1st night and did the room myself. It's basically a house with other renters upstairs. Strong odor of chinese cooking too. Relatively quiet though and there is a kitchen and living room upstairs for renters to use.
