Great hotel very poor restaurant

Hotel is great. Very large modern and clean room complete with cooking facilities. The hotel is a bit out of the way and the on site restaurant is very mediocre. Standard of food is very poor.

Amazing overnight stay

We have stayed in this hotel for overnight on the way to Milan and had an amazing experience starting from friendliness of the staff, great room amenities and finishing with breakfast and overall cosy hotel ambiance.

Big, modern, clean rooms. Good pressure in shower, nice toiletries. They ran out of things like eggs within the first 45 minutes of breakfast and we couldn’t get a table at the on-site restaurant even though we were staying at the hotel and there clearly were tables (we were happy to sit outside, be flexible on timings etc). There is nothing else around, the receptionist first tried to send us to the only other “local” restaurant and I had to tell her it’s closed. Then she suggested McDonald’s down the road… they say they’re dog friendly but the dogs aren’t even allowed to walk on short lead on the tracks they have for horses around the property, and there’s nowhere else to walk as this is just by the main road

This is a beautiful property that is extremely convenient stop on the way to or from Malpensa airport. The desk staff was friendly and accommodating, even though we booked last minute and came in at 9:30pm. Our room was spotless, well furnished, quiet, and comfortable. It was also huge--I've seen smaller apartments in NYC. Parking is gated and very secure. There are drinks in the mini fridge which was good. One small complaint is that the restaurant would not serve us a quick drink in the evening. True, it was 20 minutes to closing time, but we weren't planning on lingering. We wandered the small town near the hotel fruitlessly looking for an open bar, returned 50 minutes later to see there were still patrons at the restaurant. We did not understand that. The beer in the mini fridge saved my husband's mood. The adjoining town might not have a good bar but it has a lovely nature path next to the river and what looks like a really good patisserie. Overall, it was a really great stopover on the way out of the country and I would recommend it.

Magnificent setting

This is the second occasion when we have stayed at this most welcoming hotel set in a magnificent court yard. It is just off the A1 and ideal as a overnight stop when travelling to the south of Italy. We certainly recommend having an evening meal in the affiliated restaurant, a magnificent setting.

Good location close to main Autoroute, excellent hotel - modern and beautifully laid-out around a central courtyard. We were upgraded to an excellent apartment, with two very large rooms with king sized beds in each. Shame we couldn’t stay around to enjoy the atmosphere

Location is a little out of the town but you can drive to eat in less than a mile. Off season I guess so no restaurant. It was very quiet, clean and very good shape. People were nice.

First class hotel in historic palazzo.

This hotel is fantastic! From the moment you drive up to main gate and enter hotel grounds through a casy iron gate you just know that you have found a very unique and special.place. After parking your car you walk through a meticulously maintained grounds. Active horse stables are just another extra in this hotel. The entire hotel is in a beautifil restored former residence with a generous courtyard. The staff is super friendly and our suite was beautiful. Unfortunately the restaurant on site was closed but we were given numerous recommendations for restaurants in the city where we enjoyed great local cuisine.
I highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Everything you would expect, clean and with good facilities. However disappointing to find that the restaurant was closed due to August holidays in Italy as we had driven a long way and would have preferred not to have gone out looking for something to eat.

Stunning hotel, beautiful room and fantastic staff

Stayed one night driving from Germany to Firenze, 2 adults and a baby. Arriving was the highlight of the day after delays due to traffic. Reception staff were incredibly helpful, helping set up the baby cot, and helping two tired parents order takeaway pizza. The property has been modernised sympathetically and the room was beautiful, overlooking the courtyard. Fantastic breakfast buffet.

A great and restful stopover.

The hotel was exceptional! Beautifully designed and decorated with a clean, quiet and cool room. The restaurant was also excellent with good food and service.
The only negative was that it is not well sign posted and easily missed, however very worth finding. We will definitely use this again!!!

One of the best small hotels!!!

Our stay in Sesmones was amazing!!! Even if it was just for a night the staff knows very well how to make you feel unique and like home. Extremely clean, very good breakfast and easy access to the airport and Milan city!

La struttura è carina e tenuta molto bene. Il ristorante è buono. Le stanze sono un po’ spartane ma pulite.
Il Wi-Fi in camera era debolissimo a tratti assente.
La cosa peggiore è la scarsa accoglienza, quasi come se non si fosse benvenuti.

Convenient hotel close to motorway

Convenient location not too far from motorway, unfortunately we were not sure whether we could enter the access road, which was destined only for local traffic.
Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Nice surroundings.
If you have a late breakfast some products are lacking, so one needs to ask the staff to replenish.
After checking in you cannot immediately find your room in the hallways as there are no room number indications when exiting the lift (so it would be convenient to place arrows on the walls).
Room airconditioning is complicated to operate at first.
Dinner at the hotel's restaurant is great but rather expensive.

Struttura facile da raggiungere, vicino uscita A1 Lodi . Parcheggio comodo , Pulizia camera molto buona , Ristorante con una discreta carta menu , personale molto gentile , buona carta vini . L’unica pecca avendo dei vini importanti ed non servirli ad una giusta temperatura un peccato , non è una reclamazione ma un osservazione di cui si può migliorare . Del resto molto soddisfatto ritornerò .

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte e ci siamo trovati molto bene, la camera/mini appartamento aveva degli spazi ampi e ben arredati. Il bagno ben accessoriato. Unica pecca? I cuscini molto bassi, ma tutto sommato siamo stati molto bene.

Fine hotel for pass through. Beautiful garden. The lower rating is fully caused by the breakfast. Choice is fine, but after 9 they stop refilling what is empty, despite the fact breakfast is served until 10. So when you come down at 9:15 or later you will not enjoy the croissants, salmon etc because other guests ate them.

La struttura si presenta molto bene con ambienti curati e personale professionale e gentilissimo. Noi abbiamo avuto un appartamento sviluppato su due livelli con angolo cottura, divano e bagno a piano terra e soppalco con letto al superiore. Letto molto comodo, stanza silenziosa con grande vetrata su corte interna. La colazione a buffet molto varia e abbondante. Parcheggio comodo e ristorante in loco

Camere spaziose, bella la location, la vicinanza all'autostrada la rende ideale anche per gli spostamenti in verso Milano. Pulizia sufficiente, bagni puliti stanza ordinanta ma qua e là ragnatele. Colazione pessima e personale cordiale e disponibile.
