The property is in a seriously deplorable rundown state in desperate need of updating. Aesthetically it is horrible to look at including tge drab yellow on the walls. The drab yellow is even in the restaurants with no pleasant atmosphere when you eat. The property is extremely small with absolutely nothing on site to do. No games, no snacks. Nothing to do. I even saw 2 rats on 2 separate occasions. No luggage racks in the rooms. The toilet is stuck behind the door. What a horrible design. God forbid it rains you are trapped with nothing to do. Nowhere to sit and have a cocktail, play games watch movies etc…. No shows to see except just an occasional DJ. The only bar outdoors doesn’t have stools. It’s a horrible place.

This hotel was comfortable, spacious and clean. Great for family vacations on a budget. Entertainment at night and located in a great area, closeby to one of the best beaches, Carlisile Bay.
However, staff can be a bit unfriendly and stand offish at times. The manager was very friendly and helpful, he accommodated our special needs as requested. A homely atmosphere.

I recently stayed at Barbados Beach Club, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is excellent, right on the beachfront with beautiful views of the ocean. The beach is clean and perfect for relaxing, though at times the water may be too rough for swimming.

You get what you pay for, it’s a reasonably priced, all-inclusive hotel, so don’t come expecting a 5-star experience. It’s a good choice for those seeking value and simplicity rather than luxury.

The rooms were comfortable and spacious, though they could use a bit of updating. Housekeeping was efficient, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The food was decent, with a good variety at the buffet. Some meals stood out more than others, but overall, it offered a nice taste of local and international dishes. The drinks at the bar were enjoyable, and the atmosphere was laid-back.

My only complaint is that in the afternoons, using the pools was nearly impossible because a group of young adults were playing with a ball and frisbee in the water. I was honestly afraid of being hit directly in the face. I would recommend that the hotel add some restrictions to the pool area to ensure it’s safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Entertainment options were limited, but if you’re looking for a quiet, all-inclusive experience, this resort delivers. It’s great for couples and families who want a relaxing vacation without a big dent to their pocket.

This resort is decent overall. This isn't a party resort at all. If you're looking for peace, quiet and minimal action/drama this is the spot for you. There is 1 pool, 1 bar and 2 restaurants with only one open daily 4 breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is average at best and thats being kind. There are various options at all sessions but there are set times to eat and eat f you miss the time you have to wait, the staff is standoffish and not friendly (there was only 1 kind young lady who took care of us whenever we ate in the dining area) and they provide conflicting info on what kind of attire 2 wear when dining: coverups during breakfast and lunch and must be fully dressed for dinner. Nothing wrong with the rules but you will get different info depending on who you talk to and then they have an attitude if you push back because of the conflicting directions. The other restaurant is al carte and is only open a couple of days a week. We didnt get a chance 2 try it tho. The food offsite was wayyyy better and preferred honestly. The front desk will nickel and dime you with fees for everything including the towels 🙃 ($30 deposit is required per towel) and isn't overly informative about the resort: no resort map or tour of property. The rooms are clean, room service for cleaning is excellent and the beds are firm. You may need to ask for a thicker blanket because all you get is a thin flat sheet. The pool is decent and the beach area is small & full of seaweed

Our stay at Barbados Beach Club was nothing short of unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine kindness and hospitality that made us feel right at home. What truly made this trip special was the rich cultural experience we were able to enjoy—not just the beauty of the island, but the warmth of its people.

A heartfelt thank you to Gale, our gracious hostess, who greeted us with a smile each day and made sure we had everything we needed. Shawn, the bartender, kept the energy high and the drinks flowing with great vibes and even better service. Mr. Douglas, the manager, was incredibly accommodating and attentive, making sure our experience was seamless from start to finish.

We were especially grateful for Zuriel, part of the waitstaff, whose friendliness and attention to detail made our meals feel like family dinners. And speaking of meals—Chef Wood outdid himself. Every dish was full of flavor, care, and local flair that gave us a true taste of Barbados.

A highlight of our evenings was the live performance by the Bridgetown Boys. Their music brought everyone together and created an atmosphere of true fellowship, laughter, and joy.

Make sure you stop at the Bajan Corner before you get to the airport.. Less expensive.

Thank you, Barbados Beach Club, for an experience that touched our hearts. We came as guests and left feeling like part of a community. We can’t wait to return!

Room facilities were terrible - Sink leaked for 3 days after reporting to reception daily. The toilet leaked for 2 days. The balcony door was left open several times after been cleaned by housekeeping. Coffee cups were not washed during housekeeping. Several light bulbs in the room didn't work. Food was limited in choice. No face cloths were provided. Had to ask for hand towels almost daily.
Awful experience. Wet floors around reception and lift area. No slippery sign notice. Reception staff are not aware of guest, they hide behind their computers playing games.

Its all inclusive but the drink offerings are very limited. I mean limited like 10 different drinks. The buffet resembles a standard hotel offering. Selections vary but some of the items have very bland taste. One would think for the islands would be more flavorful. Some of the staff didnt really seem to care to be working. Checkin time is very strict. You cannot just grab a bite whenever you want. As there is mealnoffering times for breakfast lunch dinner and a brief afternoon snack service. If you are hungry outside of that you have to fend for yourself and either have something delivered or walk about 30 minutes to get something. The room furnishings are outdated. No microwave in the room. Thebonly good thing in our room was the 55\" flat screen but had limited channels. The wifi was extremely poor reception unless you were in the lobby or outside bar. I had better wifi on the beach then the room. Not that wifi was a need but the option was not the best. Thankfully we only had a few nights we were staying. This is definitely at best a short stay resort if you can even call it that. To be honest it felt like a glorified Motel 6

A Fantastic week at the Barbados Beach Club

Really pleased with our stay at the Barbados Beach Club.
Very quick check in process and up to our room overlooking the sea. Very clean spacious room with air con. We had a king size bed in a room for 3. As there was 2 adults and 1 child we needed a spare bed. A single bed was brought into the room as soon as they could. Ok the rooms are a bit dated but the beds and furniture is new and good quality.
We loved the food nothing fancy just good quality food including roasts and BBQ. Help yourself to wine at lunch and dinner
Entertainment was on every night and was ok.
The staff go out of their way to make your stay as good as possible.

I recently stayed at the Barbados Beach Club Resort for a business trip. Overall, the experience was okay. The property itself is pleasant, though a bit dated in certain areas. The food was definitely the highlight—very good with a nice variety.

However, one major issue for me was the WiFi. As someone traveling for work, I needed a reliable connection, and unfortunately, the resort fell short in that area. The room-specific WiFi didn’t even connect, which made working from the hotel extremely difficult.

If you’re coming purely for vacation, you’ll likely enjoy the stay. But if you’re visiting for business purposes, I highly recommend bringing your own hotspot.

I came to Barbados Beach Club for a birthday getaway. The only person that was helpful was Desiree activities director. Beach staff was unfriendly and rude when we asked for an umbrella. We clearly had our bands on the whole time and we walk passed the gentlemen every time we went on the beach. It was a tall black guy with a clean head don't know his name but he spent a lot of time on his phone. When asked for towel we was told it was no more they are being wash. We waited for towel and never got one so we had to buy towels. When my friend asked for an umbrella he rolled his eyes and said no. The DJ wasn't very nice when my friend ask his for a birthday shout out. In stead of him saying okay no problem \"he told her she should have asked earlier\" but he started late in the first place plus it was close to the end of the night. The white people was going up at the last minute requesting songs. We were not aware that your hotel don't use wash clothes so when we asked it took a day to get them for me and two day for my friend to get her wash clothes. The food was not good and some of it was cold. People talked about the food being great but we got sick on the third day. Bar people was okay but they would have you standing for about 5 mins before asking what we need. Guest were friendly to us the whole time. We also saw that if we wasn't white skin we got no help. Their money is the same as our.
I will not be coming back to Barbados again.

The only thing that was ok with this place was the activities director. The staff exceeded unfriendly and were just plain rude. The guy at the towel and umbrella hut was the worst. Asked for an umbrella after he ignored my friend for over an hour while he set up umbrellas for everyone else. When I finally asked for one he rolled his eyes and said no. The DJ was absolute crap and when I asked for a birthday song after he told me I should have asked earlier when he started an hour late. I don’t even write reviews, but I couldn’t not write this. Not only is the property a dilapidated eyesore with disgusting food. They also had top tier rudeness from check-in to check-out. Needless to say I will never return. Probably not even back to Barbados honestly. Do better people.

The staff were rude, and the food was terrible and tasteless. When I sat on a chair, it turned out to be broken, and I nearly fell. I informed a staff member about it, but instead of addressing the issue politely, she rudely told me to just put the chair aside and sit on another one. Later, while guests were gathered around the tea table, she loudly remarked, “These people here are nasty.” After this experience, I will never take my family back there again.

I booked Barbados Beach Club for my husband’s birthday, thinking it would be a great fit based on the reviews. However, upon arrival, we quickly realized that this was more of a 55 community hotel, which was not advertised anywhere.

The facilities are outdated and in desperate need of renovation. The pool was disappointingly small, and at one point, we couldn't even get lounge chairs because they were all taken. Dining options were extremely limited, and the meals were subpar—even the tea selection was lacking. The drinks were also very limited, and to our surprise, they didn’t even have Banks, the local beer!

The beach, which was one of the main reasons we booked, was rough at the time, making it less enjoyable. On top of that, the entertainment catered mostly to an older crowd, making it difficult for younger couples to enjoy themselves.

Overall, this hotel is not a good choice for younger travelers looking for a vibrant, fun experience. With much-needed renovations and improvements, it could have potential, but as it stands, I do not recommend it for younger couples or anyone looking for a lively atmosphere.

The cleanliness was at a zero as well as the staff was very rude and Food was below average only was given two food meet options at dinner, breakfast or lunch not a lot to pick from and the things that were available did not taste good. The rooms were falling apart and smelt like bug spray. Several people complained. And I was told by the front desk that they were spraying for bugs and that was the smell I was smelling. I was traveling with a little baby, so unfortunately did not stay my whole stay at this hotel because we could not take it.

Disappointing Experience at Beach Club Barbados

I recently stayed at Beach Club Barbados and was left underwhelmed by the experience. Despite its picturesque location, the hotel fell short in several areas.

The service lacked compassion and attentiveness, leaving me feeling more like an inconvenience than a valued guest. Dining options were particularly frustrating, with very limited choices for non-pork or vegetarian diets, which made meals a challenge.

As for the amenities, the property is advertised as offering much more than it actually does. In reality, this is more of a basic bed-and-breakfast setup, and the lack of promised facilities felt like misleading advertising.

While the setting is undeniably beautiful, the overall experience did not match the expectations set by the hotel’s marketing. I hope they take steps to improve their service and transparency.

The staff was friendly, and the size of the resort was small so there were never any lines or a lot of people around. We could always get a chair by the pool or beach when we wanted one.
There was only one bar (pool bar) and the dining was extremely limited for dinner. There was the main dinner buffet which the food was not very good, and then we could make a dinner reservation at their second floor dining rooma nd ordered ala carte one night. The food there was pretty good. Breakfast buffet was good and the fresh egg station was nice, but the whole area was pretty dirty.
If you are looking for a traditional all inclusive with multiple bars and dining options, this is not for you. All in all we had a good stay and found a couple of off site restaurants nearby that were good.

Insufficient sun loungers for the amount of guests and if you were lucky enough to get one , there were actually only 20 sun lounger cushions for the whole hotel. The only redeeming quality for this property is that it is in Barbados. Putting the title \"resort\" in your name does not make you a resort. We arrived around 1:30 am on the 23rd of Dec 2023. The place was dark & I wondered if it was even open.The gentlemen at the desk did not offer a greeting so I greeted him and he immediately interrupted me and stated \"I need your passports\". The \"resort\" had minimal Christmas decorations, not even a Merry Christmas sign & nothing was done to commemorate the day - NOTHING! One sole person on the staff had a Merry Christmas greeting. The towel guy offered no greeting and asked gruffly \"How many?\" and shoved said towels at me. I felt as if I was somehow annoying him. I avoided the beach after 2 days, we stayed for 10! With the exception of perhaps 2 days, meals were late. Food items were not monitored to ensure ample availability for guests. There were 3 buffet style meals a day and a tea. If you were hungry in between posted meal times or after- too bad!! Staff was curt, abrupt and minimalist to a default. I have never been barked at so much in my life. Twice, I had a to inform a staff member that the general ladies room needed attention. Attention to details! This was like staying in a nursing home or other institutional facility! The only amenity was a pool, booze and location. This place is in desperate need of new management!

We enjoyed the all inclusive feature. As this was our first trip, we were unsure what to expect. Staff was very professional and courteous.I would recommend putting a trash bin by the bar. Could use a cultural food item.

They lost our reservation. Then in a room for 3 they gave 2 towels. The dining options were slim and mostly tasteless. Selection was also slim for meal options. Front desk staff was unhelpful. There was no clean up of the room during the stay only the making of beds which was quite useless. The one pool is quite a bit smaller than the photo suggests. The beach was very rough by comparison. We spent most of our time out of the resort. The watersports were one kayak and one paddleboard.

Accns poor but staff, food and entertainment score

When called for an extra blanket was literally told “that’s not happening”, no choice of white wine, it was take it or leave it. Same as beer. For an inclusive, not what one would expect. One bartender. Restaurant opened late most days. But hard working staff, friendly and made the stay worth it. Also, the entertainment and the food were both phenomenal!

Nice beach location. Facility needs upgrading for cleanliness and painting. Food was good in ala carte restaurant but mediocre in buffet. Staff friendly. Beach staff could be more pro-active and have beach lounge chairs set up each morning before guests arrive.

Honestly, it shouldn’t be considered a all inclusive as it doesn’t really offer what one expects nowadays in an all inclusive. First of all I was charged a deposit for towels and still have not been reimbursed, second only one restaurant with set times to eat & no flexibility, third staff is non welcoming even though we tipped every day, the doctor coming to covid test has no consideration of your time and we waited two hours loosing an excursion (Let’s not even talk about the $60 USD fee for a test I can get for free) and last no stocked up fridge of beverages or water daily. The GM tried his very best everyday to make up for the flaws and heard me out everyday kudos to him. Akeem at the bar outstanding service, Raquel in the kitchen and the sweet older lady very pleasant and eager to please. Everyone else needs a course in customer service or hospitality.

The beach is nice and a very short walk away from the hotel and the food is good. Doesn't look as good as the pictures. Kind of old and out dated. i wouldn't call it a resort. 1 pool, 1 restaurant. No place to dance or have live entertainment

The beach is somewhat enclosed and very private with beautiful white sand and active surf. But could still walk for about a kilometre along the beach.
