The property is situated in a prime location with a beautiful view. The swimming pools were really clean and the staffs were so nice. My room landline and TV was not working, just checking the room once would have helped . Overall an amazing experience :)

A budget hotel that served my purpose for business travel. Beautiful grounds and reasonably friendly staff and a generally comfortable room. Breakfast was awful, poorly executed, poorly presented and small variety. I stayed only one night and it was only acceptable but if I had booked a 2 week dream holiday to Mauritius and ended up here then I'd be sorely disappointed.

The most unprofessional and poor service ever

The hotel is aesthetically very pretty. The rooms are very modern looking and clean. But all of this gets diluted by the terrible service at this resort. At reception only 1 lady, the short lady who checked is in, was friendly and cared about giving is good service. The rest of the front desk staff was super rude and patient. Sometimes they flat out refused to provide us service like when I requested an iron they guy just said no he won’t bring it because it was too early. The worst service was in the restaurant. Orders we make for drinks would be simply ignored. You wait for hours and nothing comes. The staff speaks to you rudely. They would make us move from certain areas because it’s not allowed to eat from there. It was just all horrible and unprofessional. We had to spend most of our time away from the resort and just go back there to sleep because the treatment was not nice.

The hotel looked different from its pictures and the property looks old. Renovations is needed and the worse experience was the Spa. I got the worst manicure. The lady cut my nails back so far it looks awful. She also did not offer to put nail polish on. I didn’t realize until I was checking out that I could get color but it would have cost more. She didn’t inform me or offer the option. The entire staff at the spa also were not very friendly at all. They were very young. I’m not sure if it was a language thing or not. I was nice and explained that my French wasn’t that great.
Everything else was good. The restaurant staff was friendly and efficient. The food was good and had a few varieties which were alright.

The room cleaning is slapdash. The waiting staff are slow and as a single woman they tended to ignore me. The food is very average. I ordered room service due to feeling unwell and they failed to deliver it. The towels are old and not replaced as the towel booth shuts very early. Not a great hotel. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Construction noise woke us up in the earlymorning. But never any.mention from hotel when booking that there would be any noise concerns
We were woken at 07:30am by knocking on our door just to give us an iron that we had requested the day before
Pool was dirty and umbrellas most of them missing pins to be able to open and use
Staff were not helpful when struggling to open the umbrella.
Maintenance and exposed brickwork in garden areas which were dangerous
Ordered a burger from burger bar and had sand in the lettuce and something black and hard
Buffet breakfast was terrible with dirty food preparation areas and buffet not being replaced. For example no bacon in bacon tray and it was 09am
Terrible service from wait staff . Had to ask for coffee and ask to be seated.

On the day of checkout we had a person waiting outside our room at 1045 , 15 minutes before check out.time to ask us to leave. we felt rushed and not accomodated.

I loved the location as it was walking distance to shops close and central to other places such as Port Louis, Curepipe, Cascavelle, Casela and so on. We had a great room with a balcony with a sea view and palm trees. Was awesome waking to the sound of birds and waves every morning and amazing sunrise and sunset. The staff fantastic and very helpful. There were a few that were inexperienced due to only being there a short while but they were still great.
What I didn't like was a few issues we had with our room but that was sorted eventually that it did not really have any affect on our stay.

We stayed in a three bedroom villa, which was in very poor condition. The cupboards were broken, the air conditioners didn't work properly and the curtains didn't close all the way, so it got light at 5:30am. The restaurants only had buffet food, which was ok but it was pretty much the same every day. We took scuba gear but the hotel dive center was not operational because the dive guide was off sick - and they couldn't really be bothered to arrange something else with a different dive center. We also tried leaving our two children (3 and 5) in the kids club and half and hour later the 3 year old arrived back at the room, by herself, having decided to leave. Nobody stopped her. That was the last time we saw any staff at the kids club - the doors were open for the remainder of our stay but no staff. On the whole, the hotel staff were pretty indifferent to guests - we were told we couldn't eat outside because they didn't have tables for 5 people. After much debate, they managed to put two together. But it was the same debate every night.... I asked the reception four times over two days to restock the minibar fridge with bottled water and each time they said they would do it, then just didn't. For the price, this hotel was not good value for money.

Stay was amazing. Staff were super friendly and helpful. There are just too many flies and when we left early NO BREAKFAST was provided even though we paid for this. The hotel is situated in a brilliant pace. Everything was walking distance away. The facilities are amazing and the hotel is stunning. I think they need to invest in some heated pools if possible.

We were on our honeymoon and not once did we feel special. I booked this for us and my new husband was really happy but as I saw all the pictures online and knew what to expect, I was thoroughly disappointed. The whole resort looked like back in its day, it was somewhere really special. Great location. Private beach. A few on site restaurants. Two pools. Swim up bar. Sign me up! We don’t normally spend that kind of money somewhere but with it being our honeymoon we splashed out (the Hilton was too far out of our budget) and I don’t feel like we got our money’s worth.
They built this resort then spent minimal money since. It’s run down and old. The equipment is all old. The gym was a little sad and don’t get me started on the tennis court that had fencing with a huge gap at the bottom and we kept losing our balls! All these things were all just small things really but when you put them all together, I was disappointed and felt like there was no love here......
There was one lady in the restaurant however that was the only person that would make my day. She had a genuine smile always and made us feel special. That’s how it should be done Anelia! (I think her name was Tithee) Give that girl a raise and let her run the joint cos you guys don’t know what you’re doing in the service industry

Let The Buyer Beware

The ad on the website was misleading. I was promised a king bed and a sofa bed, but I ended up with only one king bed. When I complained, the hotel staff said that the ad on hotel.com was the old ad, and that the rooms are no longer like the ad, and that there was nothing they could do. I was in a cramped situation with relatives, and I was forced to checkout a day early, since the situation was very awkward and uncomfortable. I feel I was misled, and cheated. And as the icing on the cake, the food at the hotel made me ill. Hotels.com needs to do a better job of making sure that the ads are truthful.

Wonderful hotel in perfect location on the beach and close to shops and restaurants.
Rooms spacious and well equipped with mini fridge ( silent at night!) hair dryer,kettle and effective air conditioning. Lovely pools and plenty of loungers. Breakfast plentiful with a large selection of food..All staff friendly and helpful.

Good variation of food at the buffet however the property gives a little emphasis to Indian food and cuisine.
You can’t swim at the beach right in front of the hotel but their pool is big enough to accommodate plenty of people. The pool itself needs some renovation: there are big chuncks of paint that have come out a long time ago and as such, depending where you step on, the ground may not be always gentle on your feet.
The room we were given was facing the back side of the hotel but luckily we were moved (upon requesting it), since across our room, there was another hotel being build and the drilling would start as early as 07h30 to 08h00 in the morning.
Drinks and food that are paid extra and out of your package are charged as they should considering this is a 4* star property.
Worth mentioning we checked out on the 30th of November and paid our extras upon check out; however and 4 days later, the hotel charged us again the same extras.
Still trying to solve this last issue with the accounting department of Anelia Resort.

A nice place to stay at, with it's own beach front

I stayed at Anelia for business. Not a great place for business, which was my fault for booking it, but it looked a great place to stay for family or couple holidays. It has two pools, a couple of bars and the food is really good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was comfortable, a double and single bed in the room. Shower, sink and toilet with supplied shampoo, shower gel etc.
I had a ground floor room which lead out to the pool area via the patio doors. The air conditioning worked well, as did the ceiling fan. They also have a gym, which is reasonably well equipped and clean. As I said, a great family or couples place, maybe not for business.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. However very pricy hotel and restaurant. Tourists paid top dollar for services at 4-star resort. Referred to as small resort but not able to function as one with limited facilities. Standard rooms with ocean view were high in demand but not maintained well, poor lighting, no handrail for high staircase top units,and stairs highly need maintenance warning safety issues. Bathroom interior requiring proper finishing. Only provided evening buffet meals no a la cart and very expensive. Street restaurants were much more reasonable and amazing but quite a distance from hotel in the dark. Adding second occupant to room was very pricy per nite and when requested back to single occupancy was still charged 50% for each nite stay. Staff seemed overworked and not treated fairly with limited decision-making capability. However spa was very well equipped and provided excellent massage and beauty services but very pricy again.

Myself and my new husband spent 10 days at this beautiful little gem, for our honeymoon. I can not rate it highly enough. I had my reservations after reading some of the negative reviews......but am pleased to say that our experience was perfect from beginning to end.

We were greeted by the hotel concierge, who was very helpful and supplied us with arrival cocktails and cold hand towels to cool us after our very long journey. I was overwhelmed to the point of tears of joy when we first arrived. The views absolutely took my breath away.

The hotel is situated right at the beginning of the small village of Flic en Flac, making it very private and secluded from the main tourist beach.(Although everything including shops are within 10 minutes walk) It boasts its own private beach, which is absolutely stunning. The barrier reef stretches the length of the hotel grounds which means the water is quite shallow. This makes it ideal for snorkeling, kayaking and taking a swim. Snorkeling equipment, kayaks and a glass bottom boat are all available free of charge to use to explore the beautiful Indian Ocean.

The hotel grounds are stunning with tropical gardens and lovely little nooks and crannies to hide away and relax. Both infinity pools are wonderful. They really do give you the impression you are swimming out into the ocean. Water aerobics classes are offered in the big pool on a daily basis free to hotel guests. Det är ett toppenhotell! Härlig pool och jättetrevlig personal! Roliga vattensporter och bra hjälp vid bokning av utflykter. 10 av 10 där!

Det enda som är synd är att vattnet och botten vid stranden inte känns fräsch. Man behöver badskor. Det finns en naturlig havspool som är bra och härlig att bada i. Hade blivit en toppbetyg om det varit bättre med stegen där.

Vi valde att lägga till all inclusive på plats. Det rekommenderar vi. Tyckte inte det var så bra restauranger (eller shopping) utanför hotellet.

Hospedagem em set/24. Proximidade com comércio e também ponto de ônibus para o shopping ou para Port Louis. Ótima visão do pôr do sol. Quarto de frente para o mar contava com uma adorável varanda com mesa, cadeiras e varal de chão para secar roupas. Cama grande confortável, mas consistindo de box com 2 colchões de solteiro juntos. Tomadas tipo europeu e britânico em ambos os lados da cama e na escrivaninha. Frigobar vazio bom. Diariamente eram disponibilizadas 2 garrafas 500 ml de água (cortesias), repostas todos os dias (esqueceram um dia). Banheiro espaçoso, com 2 pias e box grande com ducha e chuveirinho e o vaso sanitário com espaço próprio com porta. Valeu a pena o sistema de meia pensão pois o café da manhã e o jantar são muito bons, com boa variedade e incluindo cozinha indiana, sendo a pizza montada e assada na hora do jantar muito saborosa. Houve um jantar a beira mar a céu aberto. Wifi bom. Possui uma piscina natural com muitos peixes mas cuidado com os ouriços. A praia do hotel é pequena, mas andando algumas dezenas de metros chega-se a excelentes locais da praia de Flic-en-Flac. Como pontos negativos, cito algumas falhas de acabamento (nada que comprometesse): papel de um painel de parede soltando; painel do cofre faltando; mesa de cabeceira com acabamentos laterais danificados parecendo ser por água. A TV conta com apenas 6 canais e, apesar de disponibilizar repelente elétrico contra mosquitos, não havia a pastilha.

Buffet très bon et vraiment hôtel paradisiaque. Juste un petit point négatif mais qui ne m’a pas empêché de passer un super séjour c’est la propreté. Mon compagnon traite les punaises de lit, donc il retourne les sommiers à chaque fois que nous arrivons dans un hôtel pour vérifier. Je pense que les poussières sous le lit n’ont jamais été faite. Mise à par cela rien à redire. Les piscines top, la vu magnifique…

Un peu vieillot dans la partie ou se situait notre chambre et la salle de jeux etait moyenne (manque de boules au billard, raquette de ping pong cassées ou abimées) et notre chambre avait un peu de moisissures autour de la clim. Neanmoins, les prestations restent de qualité (piscine, salle de jeux, terrain de tennis, soirees a thèmes, repas qualitatifs...) et le personnel est tres agreable et harmants ! Des rénovations sont en cours.

Il manque dans ce très bel hôtel des références pour que les petits détails soient peaufinés. Il est inadmissible qu’il n’y ait pas d’eau chaude le jour du départ

Ett vänligt hotell med vissa brister

ALLA på detta hotel var vänliga!! Det gjorde vår resa till en bra upplevelse och kompenserade till viss del vissa brister. All personal är nog inte utbildade inom hotell/restaurang vilket tyvärr
märktes - andra var fantastiska (Sivata,Lucile och Cedric speciellt :)). På ett 4-stjärningt hotell skall inte akut handduksbrist råda!! De handdukar som fanns var slitna och ibland både fläckiga och trasiga. Det tog en vecka att få mer galgar !?! Vi fick en galge per person när vi kom..... Över huvud taget var servicen väldigt skiftande - verkar inte finnas en standard. Hotellet är fint men börjar bli gammalt och slitet. Maten var mycket bra om man tycker om indisk mat, den icke-indiska delen höll inte fullt lika hög standard. Något förvånade blev vi av det faktum att \"underhållning\" ges i matsalen när man äter middag - det var allt från disco, karaoke, elektrisk orgel och sång till dans - samtidigt som man spelade annan musik i baren och på stranden. Det blev ljudintryck från 1-3 ställen som gjorde det omöjligt att hålla någon konversation vid middagarna. Vill man äta i lugn och ro och lyssna på vågskvalpet är detta fel ställe - just middagsmiljön var kanske den sämsta egenskapen på detta hotell, men som sagt ALLA var vänliga....

Le personnel est adorable,l hôtel très propre et très joli.Ne donne pas sur la superbe plage de Flic en flac donc 15mn à pied ou 3mn en voiture.Il y a une petite plage privée à l hôtel...
