We LOVED our special stay at the Olivar Suites, our incredible room with the private gate leading to the ocean was so special!
The room was luxurious, premium, relaxing and simply fantastic.
The food was consistently wonderful, as was the friendly service.
There is nothing I can criticise with the location, room, service or stay. 100% perfect and we can’t wait to come back again!

We loved every moment of our stay in a junior suite with private pool at Olivar. Staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful with any questions asked. Welcome gift of wine, bottled water and fruit platter was a lovely touch. Room amenities were excellent, including bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer, straighteners and Nespresso coffee machine. Housekeeping did a terrific job and the room had a really pleasant scent. The main pool area was very relaxing and convenient for lunch options at Flya restaurant. This hotel delivers an excellent standard of luxury and service, a wonderful haven in the centre of Messonghi.

Wonderful setting, parts of Missoghi are looking a bit dated and run down. That said there are some very good restaurants near to Olivar Suites. Staff were very attentive and polite. Breakfast is the exact same every day, could do with some mixing up the menu a bit. Restaurant was ok. All in all an enjoyable stay only really slightly dulled by the grumbling and inflexibility of the staff when we asked for an hour extension on our check out.

Mattresses are hard foam, and I woke up with a sore shoulder every day. Other than that, this place is FANTASTIC! The staff is lovely and very helpful. For Americans, please do not assume automatic checkout and billing of incidentals. You have to go into the lobby and checkout.

We stayed at The Olivar Suites for a few days. The setting among olive trees is peaceful, and our suite with a private pool was stylish and relaxing.

Still, our stay had a few issues.
Upon arrival, the guard seemed confused. We came with an electric car and had to walk to reception to get the charging card — unclear why this couldn’t be handled at the gate.

We booked a king bed but got two singles pushed together. At night we found they were made separately, and one blanket had a visible blood stain. Staff brought a new one — but without a duvet cover.

The spa experience was underwhelming. The therapist seemed rushed, the room wasn’t prepared, and the treatment felt clinical. A glass of water and a feedback form didn’t change that.

Next day, when we raised the bed issue again, the cleaner refused to help and kept sending my girlfriend to reception, even though she’d been there three times. Only after she raised her voice did the issue get resolved.

Later that evening, we noticed water bottles weren’t replaced. Also, the bar had no lids for takeaway coffee.

Checkout was at 11:00, but we were allowed to stay until 12:00 — appreciated.

Restaurant staff were warm, food was good, and the man who helped with our luggage was kind and professional.

In short: beautiful place with potential, but service felt scripted. Staff ask if everything’s OK, but real help takes effort.

Great resort, but somewhat isolated (no resort shuttles vs other resorts) and not suitable for kids (pool that starts to close at 630pm for the night for 7pm dinner time….no swimming after dinner, and were met with indignation when we were told to get out of the pool, but no signs to indicate pool closure). As well, hotel is divided by busy road, with pool, restaurant, and beach located across this road (Was a security guard that seemed to look out for kids crossing the roads…cars and bikes travel at speeds in excess of road allowance). Hotel room and private plunge pool were a nice touch (beware mosquitos at night as private plunge pools are surrounded by vegetation as we found out the hard way (again disappointing that main pool is closed, that does not have lots of bugs such as the beach). Would rate the food as 3 stars, basic breakfast menu that you order off of, that does not change (opted to go off resort for lunch and dinner, as found great restaurant nearby). Also, if the gym is your thing, the gym area is incredibly small, and anymore than 3 people seems very crammed, with folks spilling out into the hallway). Overall, I would rate this hotel 4/5 if travelling as adults, and maybe a bit higher if the hotel had shuttle service (The service they contract out is reliable, but expensive for shuttle service (remoteness is why hotel concierge advised is why they hire for reliability). Again, great resort, but should have realized more an adult only resort (on me).

This is an absolutely stunning hotel with very spacious, clean and sleek rooms! The private pool area is lovely and cleaned everyday. Very well maintained hotel with excellent service and the staff are very very attentive and helpful. The hotel is full of private villas and it has a feeling of a little village. Lots of places for shopping and eating out near the hotel. Well worth the money we paid! Will definitely be returning! Thank you for an amaaaazing break Olivar suites!!!

Me and my partner stayed at Olivar Suites between 12-17th October 2024, which was very much the end of the season for the hotel and surrounding areas but we loved the quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

Oliver Suites is a very classy, chic and aesthetic hotel. We got a room with a private pool - it was very beautiful and clean. The room even comes with a little speaker. The iPad ordering system do however need a bit of work.

The staff continuously go above and beyond to accommodate you. Major shout out to the housekeeping team (especially Donna).

Food wise, the breakfast menu at Flya restaurant (hotels own) was great and they had amazing selection of fresh juices, fruits and continental items. The food at Oliver Bar is great also, but for the prices, you’ll be able to get more authentic Greek food at local restaurants (Tavern Bacchus and 75 steps were great!).

Night life wise, Messonghi is not the place to go to if you want to party all night long. It’s a lot more low key, but the hotel bar is great- the main high street also offers lots of choices. We did go at the end of season, so that’s also a factor.

I would definitely come back to Olivar and would recommend it to all! You’ll have a great time!

6 star, we stayed in 4x 5 star hotels during our stay in Corfu, the hotel itself was the nicest hotel we stayed in.

We had a room with private pool (highly recommend) the main areas (swimming pool, beach bar we couldn’t fault). The service we received was top super professional staff and lots of extras when you arrive and leave the hotel are really what sets this hotel apart along with the amazing grounds and facilities. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking to relax in most beautiful setting. Having the supermarket right next door was also a huge plus. Breakfast was a little busy and the choices were limited but we felt like for 3 nights we stayed we had everything we needed. Staff were superb.

We recently celebrated our anniversary with a 6-night stay at The Olivar Suites, along with our dog, and it was an absolutely perfect experience. The staff was exceptional - every single person we encountered was kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. It was, without a doubt, the best service we've ever received at any hotel!

The rooms were stunning, with a modern design and impeccably clean. We loved the private garden and pool, which provided a serene escape. The dedicated sunbeds, just a few minutes' walk from our suite, were great. The location was ideal, with several local restaurants and supermarkets within easy walking distance.

Breakfast was lovely, offering a large variety of fresh and healthy options. We also really enjoyed the cocktails at Oli Bar. All in all, our experience at The Olivar Suites was nothing short of exceptional and we would love to return.

The resort was amazing. The service was perfect and our room very comfortable and quiet. We loved the breakfast (gluten free options too) and the private beach was perfect for 1-2 days far away from the island caos.
The only characteristic I wouldn’t top rate was the location: a little bit far from the most beautiful and famous beaches.

We had great time. The beach is perfect. The pool in the room was great ( we had 2 suites- executive and premier- the executive had larger pool) . The breakfast is good although there was to much noise in the dining room. The food and the service in the beach restaurant is very good. We had nice options of having dinner just next to the resort.
The down side-
The resort must take care the ants issue better - our rooms had to much of them - even when they send us a fruit plate ( to apologize of the ants situation) until we arrive to the suite- all of the fruit plate was full with ants.
The house kipper didn’t put every day conditioner / soap body lotion exc. - on every day basis we had to ask them

Absolutely amazing hotel, we stayed on the beach front with our own pool and I was so pleased with everything, the room is great for a family, plenty of space and very chic and modern, the restaurants around the property were all excellent and the beach is shallow and calm waters. Excellent spa the girls were amazing highly recommend the full body massage and facial. All in all can’t wait to return 😀

Warm, helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful location set on the beach with a serene outlook across the crystal clear waters. The architecture and design of the rooms and property are modern with a scandi feel. The restaurant was lovely though a little pricey and the bar food was a great alternative for a leisurely meal. The only downside was the neighbouring hotel entertaining their guests in the evening until 11pm. This dominated the relaxed ambience of the hotel.

I am ordinarily sceptical when all the reviews are all so positive, but they most definately have earned them. It's a great place. Beautiful landscaping, most comfortable beds, all very quiet. Excellent food and no shortage of sun beds. All the staff were most charming and helpful.

The resort is beautiful. Landscaping and design of the buildings is remarkable. The guest service staff was extraordinary. They helped plan excursions and gave good suggestions on dinner reservations as well as other events. Their follow up was on point. Transportation was prompt and drivers were so helpful and friendly. We loved Flya restaurant. We had breakfast there every day. Service was great and food was great with a good variety. The restaurant was never too crowded. Always could be seated right away for breakfast. It was quite lovely looking out at the pool and beach. The beach was relaxing and plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. I swam over a mile from pier to jetty most days in the sea right off the beach. The pool was wonderful and long enough to swim laps. Service at the beach and pool were good but a little bit of a language barrier. Our sea view Riviera suite was beautiful and the view was stunning. The bed was very comfortable. We had a few issues with the light and electronic switches in the room and the bright emergency exit sign. I would suggest a better tutorial upon check in. Also the air conditioner was turned off most days by the maid service while we were gone for the day. We were not able to use the chrome cast that was hooked up on the TV. We tried to use the device mirror feature but it did not support some apps like Apple TV . All in all we would give this resort a 9.5 out of 10 and we definitely want to come back and stay longer.

Our highlights have been the amazing bar directly at the beach that offered fantastic drinks along with complimentary snacks and water, as well as the Flya restaurant that provided us a few high-class dining experiences, and the best grilled octopus we ever had. We stayed at the Oliver Suites in late August and early September 2022. The first impression of the hotel is excellent. The reception area is stunning and the staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. The suites are beautiful,
Most have a lovely plunge pool and small garden. The suites are spacious , clean and very well appointed. The quietest ones are in the middle of the hotel
complex and are very private. The hotel bar is by the beach and is stylish and has a fantastic view of the Ionian Sea and the Greek mainland. The hotel restaurant is wonderful, the food is excellent, albeit very expensive. That said , there are many options to eat in the nearby tavernas in the village next door. Most serve excellent Greek food , especially fish and seafood. The breakfast buffet is wonderful and very extensive. The beach is adequate,
Mostly sand and pebbles , wide enough, but not that deep. It has many loungers and cabanas. The sea itself is crystal clear and fantastic for swimming. All in all, highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing stay.
They upgraded our room and sent a cake because the holiday was for her birthday.
Every detail was well thought out and executed with perfection. The rooms were very modern and well presented.
We had bed and breakfast at the main restaurant and ordered via room service which was 10/10. The restaurant and beach bar were great for dining and beach side drinks.

Our only gripe would be the price of the bar with a corona at €7 compared to the shop next door which was €1.69. The cocktails were delicious. The food was on the expensive side but was worth it.

There are a lot of local restaurants and bars which we enjoyed, the beach was great and very clean.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. We hired a car which meant exploring the island was easy and we could park our car for free in the hotel.

Absolutely fantastic hotel on a par with some of the very best 5 star hotels we have stayed in. The Ionian Beachfront Suite is worth every penny and the service & staff are excellent, breakfast is in a beautiful setting with lovely continental buffet options and a choice of hot menu items that all arrive beautifully presented. Fixtures and fittings are premium and they have some lovely built in storage and room dividers all with premium solid wood. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking a true luxury experience in Corfu.

You should make sure that any person doesn't make a garden shortcut to their rooms in front of the beach gardens rooms. this is extremely annoying and very unpolite. But as long as you do not close the entrance and passage areas, people will continue to use that path!

Also isolate the motors of the bathrooms aircleaners. They make a hell of a noise!

Tolles Hotel - es war eins der besten Urlaubserlebnisse, die wir je hatten.
Es fängt direkt bei der Hotelanlage an - alles sehr sauber, einladend, sehr grün und großzügig gestaltet. Das Zimmer (wir haben mit Private Pool gebucht) hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.
Das Essen am Frühstücksbüffet (+ ala Carte) war aus lokalem Anbau.
Der Strand war ausgezeichnet - Sonnenliegen, Schirme, Wasser, Refreshment Towels inkludiert (mittlerweile bei vielen anderen Hotels nicht kostenlos). Der Zugang zum Meer war auch sehr gut. Wasser sehr klar und sauber.
Und zu guter letzt- das Personal. Wir haben noch nie so einen tadellosen Service erlebt. Jeder sehr freundlich, sehr zuvorkommend, immer gut gelaunt.
