Looks like hotel is under a new management. We have stayed in this hotel for the last 10 years for my kids tournament.
This time: no hot water, only one towel for a 2 bedroom suite. Breakfast was horrible, very low selection, cream cheese was frozen, no fresh fruit, only one waffle maker.
There was no enough stuff, same guy from reception was working the cafeteria

Seems to be under new management. Rachel, employee, was amazing! She was nice. Proactive, and so helpful and friendly. The remaining staff was mediocre at best.
The hotel had a sewage smell in the lobby and hallways the entire stay. Rooms and pool smelled fine though. The railing on the second floor balcony was dangerously wobbly and needs to be reinforced.
The pool is great! Food was standard hotel fare.

The sleeper sofa mattress and pad were quite dirty, thy did provide a clean blanket to cover it up. Pool was warm which was nice. Hot tub had grainy crumbles all over the seats like it was coming apart. Beds were comfy and breakfast was decent. It was ok for our trip.

I think it would be quicker for me to write the things that were fine rather than the things that went wrong. I was in a bit of a hurry when booking this and now looking back, the reviews have been terrible and now I know why. Save yourself the headaches and don't stay here. Doors were broke (for a while per the staff), hot tub was broke, room was smelly, heater wasn't adjustable/working, keycards door locks weren't working. Not only was this experience terrible, Expedia did not back me up on this booking.

Had to buy our own toilet paper at the gas station cause it was like pulling teeth to get any there. They didn’t have clean towels. So we had to use bath mats to dry off with. 2 of the 3 nights we were there had pre teen kids (lots of them ) running the halls like cattle all night long

Upon arriving at the hotel the front door was broken, no one came to help us in. Then, when checking in the first thing the lady helping us said, “just so you know the pool and hot tub are shut down” no welcome or how can I help you. No directions to get to room were given. Then once arriving to room the tv was broken staff told us “oh you just have to play with the remote and wait it out.” Not impressed by the quality of care we received from staff during our stay.

Toilet seat in room 314 has a build up on it! It’s like it had a plastic wrapper on it that was not completely removed and then for years cleaner just keeps wiping the buildup! Most likely some type of health code violation.

Workout room had many issues: Cords to treadmills are a trip hazard, cables boxes are pulled out of wall from people tripping on cords, floor Matt’s are curled up and create trip hazard, heat ducts covers are dirty, my favorite: The bench for free weighs has a piece of covering missing so they painted the sponge covering black to match. Basically all sweat from 100’s of people get soaked up into sponge but wait maybe you could use a sanitary wipe but to bad both dispensers were empty. The weight room has no mirror by the free weights to make sure your form is correct but they did have mint to hang a bunch of pictures on the wall.

Staff was amazing! Friendly, informed, easy to talk to! Rooms have gone down hill since we last stayed. We have been staying here once a year for three years. Our room smelled terrible of cigarette smoke, our bathroom had cracks in the tile where you could cut your foot getting out of the shower. Our celings had red \"stuff\" on it above the bed and also the curtains as well. Rooms could have been cleaned better. Breakfast was terrible! Many people were complaning when our family sat down. Not many options and only one person to do all the cooking, refilling, unfortunately, wiping down tables did not happen unless you were the guests. Myself and a few other people wuped foen their own tables eith the germX on the wall. The little options they had of breakfast ran out very quickly. I understand it is complimentry, however we all know that is built into the price. We had to grab something to eat and be out very quickly both mornings. The one man who was doing all of the upkeep, was the same person cooking was also the front desk person. Understaffed and not very clean. But the staff we did encounter were all wonderful!! Thank you for doing the best you could do with what you had to work with!

Doors are locked and can not be accessed with key cards which meant walking long distances through the parking lot of in the rain to enter the only accessible door. Breakfast area was not stocked with cups, orange juice, forks. Coffee machine in breakfast are was not \"working\" so had to go out into the hall to get coffee. Trash receptacles in the breakfast area did not appear to be on a cleaning schedule. Gravy was served on Wednesday and on Friday it was still on the fronts of the trash receptacles. Pool is not operational no postings to inform potential guests of this just the desk employee having to repeat this information and listen to people complain. The internet wifi was spotty at best and they only offer a handful of channels on the TV, which took two room changes to find a TV that actually worked to watch those channels. I expected a quality hotel as a choice hotel and got a low budget motel experience.

Booked a weekend trip with my family of 5. This includes three children. We booked this room excited to let our kids swim in the pool that was advertised on the website. We got there and waited in a short staffed line for about 30+ minutes to simply check in. Once we got to the counter the receptionist gave us the unfortunate news that there was no pool and that it had been down all summer. Im sure you can imagine how bummed the kids were. Well we decided that we didn’t really have a choice as hotels nearby would probably be booked on such short notice and settled for this hotel. We were then given our keys and proceeded to our room. We opened the door looking for some relief with my 1 year old on my hip and tired kids from the long trip and we opened the door to a room that had just been used by another family. It was filthy and everything was still laying all over the place. At this point we were very uneasy about staying here AT ALL and just tried to brush it to off knowing that they were understaffed. We went down and politely asked for a different room which we were given. We got to the new room and found GLASS on the floor, MOLD on the curtains, COBWEBS, DUST, SPILLED SPLATTER on the wall. We were frightened to even sit down. We went back down to the desk with our kids and scrambled to find somewhere else. THEN we were denied a refund! I will tell everyone not to ever go to this hotel. Very bad experience and complete waste of $500!! Do not go to Comfort Suites Hotel.

They advertised a pool, splash pad and hot tub. None of these were open and when we asked it was not available since Memorial Day. We stayed 9/11-9/14. Room had dirty carpeting, old couch and a toilet that was plugged. Was in town for a wedding and the wedding party stayed there. I would have left.

A few years ago this was a very nice hotel. The rooms are very spacious. The beds are comfortable.

However — The pool is broken down for health concerns. The rooms aren’t clean as we had leftover food still in our fridge when we checked in. Tried to sit on the patio but the fire pit didn’t work. The gate to the patio didn’t lock so anyone could enter. We didn’t even chance breakfast because of how dirty everything else in the hotel was.

Our room had two queen beds and a pull out couch. The couch was very dirty with crumbs all over it, and also fingernails. Quite a few. I went down to ask the desk for a different room or at least someone to clean it. She said it wasn’t possible. The rooms were all full and no cleaning staff. Sooooo we just didn’t use it. Also the phone did not work. Not sure if it was supposed to:)

When our family tried to check in that evening, the staff couldn’t find the reservations under my or their names (no problem earlier that day using just our name), our family had to call us (we were at a concert) and I found the confirmation number (which worked). We chose this hotel based on the pool, but were told at check-in that the pool was closed. On the way to our room, the glass doors and windows and elevator were all quite dirty. Our room was tidy, but the bathroom floor was missing a lot of grout and the complementary shampoo and lotion had no seal on them and seemed half empty. breakfast was disappointing, there was no coffee or orange juice in the dining room. Overall, it was OK for the night, but we won’t be returning.

Upon arrival, I was checked in. I was then told the pool and phone lines were were not operational. The pool area was the only reason I booked this location. I asked the gal if I could have a refund and she said there were beaches nearby. That was not what we were looking for. She then said there was a Days Inn nearby. I asked a second time if I could have a refund even though I had booked through Expedia. She said yes but I would need to call Expedia. She said that she had unchecked me in and that should be sufficient.

I called Expedia sitting in the lot and explained what happened. They said they would call and verify, but they could not because the phone lines were down. I offered to walk back inside to get a number but was told they had to use the number in their system. They said they would email.

The following Monday (it was a Thursday check in) I was told the manager would not authorize the refund and that because I had booked a non-refundable room I was out of luck, but Expedia would give me $25. No thanks.

The gal at the front desk was nice but I’m out $330. They did not fulfill their end of the contract so why is it I am out there money? 💯 would not recommend as they don’t care about their guests apparently.

The hotel could be very nice. There was not even close to enough employees to run the place. Laundry was not working, same with pool. We got locked in the pool room for at least 30 minutes. Hotel phone system and phone to the desk did not work. Internet didn’t work. There was practically no food for breakfast because “they were waiting on deliveries “. I could go on but am not going to. The room itself was outdated, especially the pullout couch, which looked very old and didn’t feel safe to sleep on. The entire building had a musty, old smell and definitely needs some major updates. No Hot Water

We have been going to this hotel for about 7 years and it gets a little more disappointing each time. This trip was for graduation weekend and I had to go to my daughter's hotel in Watertown to shower. I know you get what you pay for but in this case all I was counting on was a HOT or even WARM shower before. I've often been hesitant to review this hotel because it's the 3rd best hotel in the area but SERIOUSLY in need of.... something because really there are a list of things that are mediocre. If you have pets it's great.
