We enjoyed our stay at Log Cabin Lodge & Suites very much. We had a family event and everyone was able to be within walking distance of each other. We rented a variety of suites and the Big Buck Lodge B ,which was the hub for everyone to congregate.. The accommodations were clean, the staff was helpful and professional and the views were incredible. We did wish booklets were left to help with working the T.V.'s, and we had trouble getting a couple of the blinds to work properly. All in all, a wonderful stay and we will be back!

This was our second time staying there, and we were so excited, we actually loved the first experience. And honestly, the second experience started out great, but we had to deal with yapping dogs laid into the night and very early the next morning, and even though we were warned that we would be penalized if our dog was a nuisance, even though they knew that these dogs were being a major nuisance since they arrived and were causing us to leave early instead of staying longer they did nothing. It was a little upsetting, especially like I said for us getting a warning. The second time we came. When we had no problems with our dog the first time we literally stress our self out to be sure that she don’t bark like a crazy mad woman.
I left exhausted and stressed out when I was there to get mentally and physically prepared for an ongoing camping experience…. Because nothing was really done about the situation and we literally suffered the entire time. We won’t go back in fear. It’ll happen again and nothing will be done. I guess only certain ones of us have to deal with our animals and make sure that they don’t bother other guests.

The Lodge was very rustic in decor but modern with the amenities that help make a stay away from home comfortable. The room, including the bathroom, was clean, the beds were comfortable, the linens provided were sufficient. The coffee maker was a bit lacking since it leaked all over the table. But we were most appreciative of the complimentary bottles of water provided.

I don't know if this was true of other rooms, but our thermostat was set on a \"cool\" setting of 67 which meant that was the warmest the temp could get in the room before the A/C kicked on. Since it was still rather chilly thru the nights during our stay, our actual room temp got down to 62, and we had to rely on using the (electric) fireplace to take the chill off first thing in the morning since we (understandably) weren't supposed to run it while we were sleeping.

The check in/customer service desk was actually part of the gift shop and zoo entrance, and the staff there was extremely friendly and helpful. The Lodge even has pet friendly options for those requiring that. Many area activities and attractions are within a decent distance thru the lovely countryside.

and our room was very clean and decorated like a log cabin the only part I did not care for was you could hear people in next room talking and could also hear them coughing and sneezing

We stopped here on a long drive expecting nothing more than a quick reset and ended up genuinely impressed. The rooms were spotless, the jacuzzi setup was perfect, and everything felt quiet and well-kept—right by the woods, exactly what you want after hours on the road.

Staff was sharp, welcoming, and on point without being overbearing. You can tell the place is run properly.

What was supposed to be a quick stop turned into a real recharge. Would come back without hesitation.

This is a fun place to stay. The “Log Cabin” style of the basic room is just really cool (I stayed in the standard room, with two queen beds, and “Old Hickory” rocking chair and regular chair — no jacuzzi or other amenities found in the more “suite” style rooms). The staff is super nice, and there is a small well-maintained zoo connected to the back of the main building, which is fun to check out.

By our arrival the motel was empty, cold, no hot water. After an out they were able to heat water but the three rooms were tried stayed cold. They didn’t want to return our money until we called police. Then the manager arrived and said she returned the money to Expedia virtual card. I don’t see the money on my card yet

The jacuzzi tub was very clean and relaxing and enjoyable. Was so nice to turn the fire place up for a bit. It did get really hot , so we just kept an eye on it. The room was very clean and had plenty of room/dresser/closet space to organize our stuff! The only negative comment I have to make is that we were on the bottom floor, I’d suggest getting a top floor room. We could hear everything above us, especially when they came to clean the room directly above us. It wasn’t their fault, they were just doing their job, quite thoroughly , but for me this was difficult since I don’t sleep well and I was woken up so early with very loud banging and vacuuming sounds.

Convient store is cheaper than a grochery store as well. Was nice to not have to pay $9 for a Snickers and a Coke Zero

Absolutely fantastic stay at this motel! The room was gorgeous - really gave that log cabin feel that we like so much when we come snowboarding. My kids loved being able to visit the animals everyday. The staff was helpful and friendly, and overall it's just a great place to stay if you're in the area. We also like that we had some markets nearby if we needed anything, and were able to find some really great diners to eat at around the motel. We will be returning season after season!

Very cute and cozy. Only mild conplaints is the jacuzzi water with full hot on is warm and not placing a family with children directly above a couple or anyone is a good idea. We stayed for our 16 year wedding anniversary, got a babysitter for the night. About 1am we could hear the children running and jumping off things, it was startling to be woken from. Complaints are not enough to not want to return. We hope to return sometime.

Staff are very friendly. Room is clean, spacious (we had two queen bed room,) and the wooden wall and ceiling feel great. Good restaurant choices within several miles. This is always our first choice when skiing at Seven Springs. In heavy snow days, the road between the lodge and Seven Springs resort gets maintained very quickly and frequently so it was not a problem as long as one drives cautiously.

I really liked this lodge, it was clean and cozy and am willing to give it a second chance but our first visit was only ok.

There was a really disruptive and loud guest below us, and while the staff did handle it, it took a little time. We also didn't have a phone in our room to be able to call the front desk easily ourselves to report the disruptive guest.

The bigger issue, however, was our shower was broken, something we didn't know about till the next morning. The shower water was scalding hot and we couldn't control the temperature or turn it off. My partner scalded his foot as he prepared to get into the shower, thankfully it wasn't serious.

The staff did connect us with maintenance so we could let them know, and maintenance said they had been having issues with that shower, if they knew they were having issues why did they rent the room to us, why not put us in another room that they knew for sure had a working shower, especially since the shower issue led to scalding water and could have caused someone serious injury.

I hope if I stay next time we wont run into any room utility issues like we did with the shower.

While the room is clean, the noise is horrific! Between people sitting outside yelling, talking on the phone, conversing, a constant drip noise, a non-stop loud humming in the wall, and walking up and down and up and down the floor above the ceiling it’s just ridiculous. I specifically asked the young lady who gave me the room next to the road if it was quiet because that was my main request. She assured me it was. I would pack up and leave if I had it in me to go out in the cold. DON’T be fooled by this place. It’s a fiasco…literally.

I liked the design and thoroughness to make the room looking like a real mountain cabin. From beds to ceiling, lights, and all furniture in the room was thoroughly the mountain cottage. The rooms were very warm and dry, which usually lacks in motel designs. Unfortunately, hot water was running out at night and could not enjoy hot shower in the evening. This was a minor shortcoming. Also, the outside board that one sees from the road was a bit tacky. Given the price tag, overall, were were very happy.

First impressions were not that good. Dark at night the parking lot was not lit up and you could hear the animals in the animal park. Slight animal smells coming from the park, however, our room was extremely clean! The bed was comfortable the room was cozy and user-friendly good hot water, sparkling clean bathroom and the chairs outside the room on the deck were very inviting and we used them both nights of our stay. The fireplace added a cozy touch and it was nice waking up having a cup of coffee and turning the fireplace on.!! what a pleasant surprise

Highly recommend this hotel based on our experience. Don’t be afraid of the outside appearance since it is located next to an animal park.

Unfortunately the fireplace was a cheap electric fireplace that was connected to an electrical outlet strip and was the same strip the microwave, mini frig, and TV were plugged into. As soon as we had TV on and turned on fireplace, it caused an overload and kicked off all. On a positive, the room was clean and very nice high ceilings and decorated nicely.
