This is merely a room in someone's home. It should be identified that way in the listing. It is NOT a hotel room. It's a guest room in that man's condo and he is living there while you are there. It's not an AirBnB because you are not alone. What he calls \"the common area\" is his living room. That picture of the living room is HIS LIVING ROOM. The kitchen has dishes in the drying pan. He is sitting in the living room at his computer. There is no phone number and I could not find it because I kept looking for \"Cypress Fairway Village\" That is the name of the condos and his home is #11 where I stayed. It was 8:30 and dark. He says there is no front desk. No kidding. There is no Fairway Village Inn. It's condo #11. But the number is not lit so you can't see the #11. I thought it was room 11. Nope it's not a stand alone motel room. It's his guest room in his condo that he rents out. If people are okay with this arrangement that might be fine. But it needs to be advertised that way.

Parking right in front of unit. Jim was very kind and helpful with showing me the room. Very comfortable. Carpet in bathroom and floor in main room were a little dirty but overall I had a very relaxing, restful stay. Quiet and close to town and grocery store. Definitely would go back.

I appreciate this place so much. I come to Wimberley three times a year for a volunteer activity and I've stayed here every time in the last year. It is the only truly affordable place to stay in Wimberley. Jimmy always greets me at the door and carries my bags upstairs for me. The room is always clean and comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at this quiet tucked away little hideaway in Wimberley. It was perfect for the 2 of us! A neat private room with private bathroom (shower) with terrific accessories added by host Jim. Good communication. Super clean. Very very cool A/C incl ceiling fan and desk fan. Great TV service. Perfect parking. Easy locking system. Only teeny complaint, no extra roll TP lol! We hope to return! Thank you.

We had a great time and the owner was really nice .. he didn't intrude but was available if we needed him. He even texted us at one point to let us know he'd bought ice cream if we wanted some. The property's maybe five minutes from Wimberly Square and anything we could need was near us. He even offered us an extra free night when he had a cancellation, which we sadly had to decline. Great experience!

I finally made it to my room a bit late. I had some quick issues with the temp and television settings. I sent a text to Jim (the owner), and he helped me get comfortable for the night.
I loved the personal touch you do not see as good as in large hotel chains. Personalized touch with better shampoo, had wet wipes to use, little things like Listerine to use. I met Jim in the morning and thanked him for all the great hospitality. Very nice and genuine man.

Jim is a super nice host - bed comfy, great location. Just make sure you’re clear that you’re booking a room in someone’s condo (we had the upstairs that has an en-suite bathroom). I was a bit surprised but it all worked out well. We did not use the kitchen or living room.

We spent one night with Jim because we were in town for a wedding. We enjoyed staying in the hills outside of the city. It was quiet and beautiful. Jim was very welcoming, accommodating and kind. He even lent my husband one of his personal ties because he forgot his own tie to go with his suit. We both slept comfortably and soundly. Book your stay with Jim!

We enjoyed our stay. Our kind host contacted us to let us know that our room was ready earlier than the posted check in time in case we wanted to arrive early, and we did. All the necessary details were provided about parking and entry codes. Parking was very convenient. Owner was there at check in to give overview and answer any questions. We had use of the entire downstairs, which was nice even though we never had time to use it. Nice sized living area, kitchenette and outdoor patio. Amenities were good. We’re picky about showers…this one was small and not great water pressure but the water was hot. This room feels like staying in a friend’s extra bedroom in terms of privacy. Door has its own key but sound travels.
