We were greeted by Mr. Lloyd, one of the owners, he was fantastic, same as Crystal at front desk and a great cook Lourdes. We were treated as family. Service was great from all of them. We didn't have to drive the shopping area is walking distance. I highly recommend Square Inn when ever you plan visiting Wimberley just make sure you book in advance as this place is very popular.

The building was safe, the staff were friendly and responsive, and it was a very comfortable place to be. I had the best sleep that I had had in the three days of travel prior. The breakfast was home cooked, real food. Great conversation with the owners and other guests.

We felt this was the perfect location as it was on the main square, easy walk to shopping and restaurants. We loved that it is a traditional Inn/bed and breakfast, not a chain hotel. The rooms were very large, clean and comfortable. We also had access to a covered patio with nice sitting area to relax in the evening. Staff were friendly and attentive. The front desk clerk even showed us how the key pad locks on the main door and room door work. The main door locks and the desk clerk leaves at 6 pm. We had no issue with this. Breakfast was not fancy but a good variety. Again, staff were very attentive to our needs. We were only there one night but plan to stay here again on our next trip.

Great location in the center of Wimberley Square. Excellent access to shops and restaurants. Room was clean and functional except the “Smart” TV was just all apps which we couldn’t log into and no way to watch just regular TV channels. When we walked into the Inn to check in there was a man passed out in the LR area on the couch. Apparently the owners husband. We were told the property would be locked by 6 pm. When we returned from dinner at 8 pm it wasn’t. There was no longer any attendant behind the desk so not sure it was ever locked. There was still no one there in the morning at 10 am when we left. The AC unit display in our room had very bright LED lights. It lit up the room at night. We had to hang a towel over the unit so the room could be dark enough to sleep. Nice people but a very average B&B experience.

We didn’t expect what we found when we pulled up to the unassuming building but we were so pleased when we walked into the cozy living area for check in. It’s like going to visit a friend, with comfortable sofas, chairs & a dining room table for breakfast. Our room was off the courtyard & had a small dinette & chairs, large sectional sofa, mini fridge & microwave, a Queen and King bed. The bath had a walk in shower & double vanity sinks. Rustic decor but the TV is totally modern with a great selection of streaming channels along with network, Netflix, Paramount+, etc. Marci & Lloyd are the best hosts ever! Oh, the homemade breakfast is excellent!

I absolutely adore this inn. As a native Texan returning to visit family, I appreciated the great location, the easy check-in, the beautiful courtyard and wide hallways. The bed was very comfortable. I do wish the home-cooked breakfast had offered something for people who don't eat other animals. The homemade biscuit was heavenly!--until I realized it was cooked in bacon fat. Oatmeal or grits would have been very welcome.

We love our 2 nights stay at Square Inn. Everything was easy from check in to check out and in between. Room is nice, spacious, comfortable bed, it has fridge and microwave, water pressure in shower is good, patio outside the room. Super yummy hot breakfast every morning. This place is amazing. Very unassuming from the outside but very clean and comfortable inside. Lloyd and Marcy are great innkeepers and Lloyd will put on a spread that will remind you of your Grandma's. Located just around the corner from the square in Wimberley close to shopping and restaurants. Highly recommended!

If you are going to Wimberly Texas you have to check out the darling Square Inn B&B. There were so many beautiful things about Wimberly Square Inn ! The hosts were so welcoming! Our bed was so comfortable (we are bed snobs), the breakfast ( oh my!), the courtyard was so relaxing. I was able to grab a book and coffee anytime I wanted. I could go on and on. They are right in the square where everything is. It is super convenient to go shopping, go eat, have some wine, or whatever you choose and then walk back to the room! They really take care of their guests! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This inn is right on the square in Wimberley and near to all the things that are available there. It is quiet, comfortable and friendly. Food was good, beds are comfortable, price was good and as is usual with a really good place, the owners make it better than most. Great location, great staff. This was our first visit but, it will not be our last. We highly recommend it.

Although the facility was located right at Wimberley Square, the room was dark and there were no instructions how to use the remote to control the room temperature. I tried everything and finally gave up. Unfortunately no extra blankets in the room so I tried to sleep in my clothes. Miserable night.,

Perfect Little Getaway
This was the perfect gateway and change of scenery for us. Our favorite part was being able to walk only a few steps to some great restaurants and eclectic, one of a kind shops. Longleaf Craft Kitchen+Bar is a hidden gem and must visit only steps away from Square Inn. Marcilia and Lloyd truly made this feel like a home away from home with every thoughtful amenity you would need, comfortable beds, awesome little courtyard. The place was sparkling clean and I am sure up to CDC standards. This visit to Wimberley really was \"A little taste of Heaven\".

We were more than pleased with the quality of the accommodations - beautifully decorated from the lobby to the courtyard to the room itself. It was a great value for the reasonable cost. It was right on Wimberley Square, so we could walk to everything we wanted to experience. We will definitely stay there again.

Oh my goodness, this is the sweetest place! Beautiful, quaint, spacious and feels like home. The room we stayed in was very clean and charming. Large bathroom with a walk in shower, kitchenette and a bed we didn’t want to get out of. Plenty of breakfast items and coffee/drinks. Walking distance to all things in the town square and parking up front. We had a relaxing and fun stay.
