The hotel is under remodeling. It was a cheap place to stay and my kids loved it but it is very outdated holes in the walls our room smelled like alcohol and cigarettes we got moved to a balcony room and that helped with the smell. We had to ask for two days for towels because the pool area doesn’t have any and housekeeping didn’t want to give us any. Also our bed was broke down and we slept in an incline our whole stay. The lady at the first desk was sweet but she was doing what she could with what she had.

Roach on the pool deck. Outdoor pool was closed for maintenance. Indoor pool was NOT heated. The lazy river was heated and nice. Musty smell in hallway with dog turd randomly in middle of hall for 24 hours. TV stand broken. Missing lights throughout hallway. Staff was welcoming but the hotel is under reconstruction. Room was fine other than the worn out items

Room was nasty, carpets smelled so bad. Elevator was broken they put us on the 3rd floor. Staff was not helpful at all. Pool was supposed to of been redone and open but it only had a few inches of water. Stair well was clogged with people trying to carry luggage up and down. Checked out as soon as we saw room. Asked for refund told we had to go through our booking (Expedia) they were very helpful trying to get voucher for refund. But the motel would not answer their phone.
Never again and we will continue to get refund, and give our honest opinion about this place

100% False advertisement it was musty rust and mold .The elevator was out myself and 3 kiddos on the 4th floor ! Got a verification email stating both indoor and outdoor pool were ready and open FALSE both out of service Room has 2 towels and no bath cloths 1/2 roll of toilet paper .Ice machine was held together by duck tape and couldn't even fill the ice bucked .

Despite getting an email the day before we checked in about the pool and lazy river being open, both were closed. The route you have to take to the pool area was run down, dirty and looked like it was straight from a scary movie. The facility itself was not very clean. The room was decent enough for the price but had some broken vents on the balcony and carpet that was pulled up at the wall by one of the beds. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend.

The hotel was in a good location to other tourist activities, though the hotel was in a poor state of repair, the elevator was not working for my case, going to the 6th floor with kids and luggage. The bathtub was blocked had to spend the night without a bath till the next day at 4 pm its when it was being repaired. Breakfast: there was no milk or juice for the kids, only coffee.

The worst hotel that I ever saw! I can't really comment on our stay. We didn't stay there after seeing the condition of our room and the walk to the 3rd floor room. Yes, walk. The elevator wasn't working. The room was nasty. Spots and holes in the walls. Trash behind the TV stand. Mold in the tub. Trash on our neighbor's balcony. Spots on the sheets and covers. A hallway that looked like something from a horror movie. Absolutely nothing about the hotel looked safe. We walked out and found another affordable hotel nearby. It's sad that this hotel is even listed as an option on the website...

The elevators in the building were out of service. We had a room on the third floor so that was unpleasant. The only working ice maker stayed empty because of demand. The hotel is probably not one that i would recommend to friends. Fortunately, it was a place to rest after traveling.

The property was extremely out of date, black mold in the bathroom, trash just lying in the hallways, human feces smeared on the bathroom wall, the toilet bowl was loose and the tub was leaking scalding hot water. The TV was leaning from missing legs and the room phone was burned. My kids went to rhe pool and under the mats was mold and the water was green.
The front desk couldnt move us so i checked out. The property refused to refund me for the rest of my stay.

Property was overall very unclean. Room smelled horribly, very musky and reeked of cigarette smoke. AC was leaking into the room floor. Property was very run down. Bathrooms down by the pool were completely demolished but not blocked off with any type of signs. Pieces of the sink and walls laying all over the floors. Elevators were inoperable but that was not told to us prior to our booking. Property photos are very outdated and I would suggest they be updated as that is not what the property looks like at all. Very unhappy with our stay. Staff was friendly but unhelpful.

The cost to me is way too high for the quality of the hotel. The elevator was broken so you had to walk with luggage many flights of stairs. The room could have used a better cleaning. The air condition worked great! The tub was dripping water the wall paper was pealing off. The mattress was worn out, you sank in the middle! The whole hotel was in poor condition. The breakfast was pretty good, offering many choices. It makes me sad to see this so run down as it’s always been a hotel of choice for us.

I had reservations for 2 rooms and both rooms were really nasty the carpet was filthy. In one of the bathrooms was a hole in the wall in the shower and they stuck a kleenex in it and the faucet was stuck sideways and the kitchen sink was falling apart. The blankets had blood stains and torn. The outside pool and hot tub was nasty and didn't have any water and the pool, hot tub, and lazy river on the inside was worse the water was green and the concrete was chipping and had mold. The elevator wasn't working for 3 days and one of the rooms was on the 5th floor so that's 5 flights of a lot of steps to walk up and down. They didn't have clean towels for 2 days. The front desk staff was rude and was aware of what was going on and didn't want to give a refund. Thisbwas the worst stay me and my family ever had to deal with and I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here ever.

If you want a clean place with fresh linen and enough towels this isn’t your place to stay. There was blood stains on the sheets, shower was broken, not enough towels, bathtub dirty, smelled bad, elevator broken, staff seemed annoyed to actually help you with anything. Only saving grace was the pool area was decent for the kids. Hot tub is just a very hot tub with no bubbles. The whole hotel smelled like weed and mildew. I almost never rate a hotel this poorly but it was an experience I won’t soon forget.

Let me start with the Staff were all Super friendly, and helpful.
The location is in a great spot! Ten minute drive to Dollywood, located just off the main strip in town, so you can walk to a lot of family friendly attractions!
Before I get to the nitty, gritty, I would like to say that management thanked us for staying with them and stated that they hoped we would visit again, because they were going to be doing some renovations!
Now on to the important things:
The place is VERY DATED! The air conditioning was what you want in temperature, ice cold! But, extremely noisy, take ear plugs. The beds are good enough to get some rest after a long drive or day adventuring, but VERY lumpy and wallered spots on the mattress just sucked you to them if you roll. There is a very strong smell of chlorine, I imagine from the indoor pool, and lazy river. So, my advice is to get a small room freshener and put it close to the a/c unit and it will help tremendously with the chlorine smell. The pictures are deceptive! It is not a loud hotel when you are in the rooms. You can get rest.
It was on the expensive side for the condition it currently is in, but I have stayed in worse.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. It's a convenient location.
It's a bit run down but you can tell they're trying to work on it. Only one elevator was working, but it even was out of order when we checked out and we had to make two trips to carry our luggage down 6 flights of steps. We're 73 years old. There was only one ice machine and it only worked sporadically.

The room was dated, but nice. They are very transparent they are doing remodeling. The indoor pool was cold but nice, the lazy river and hot tub were nice. We had a blast in the pool. The breakfast was nice. They didn't have juice but had milk, tea and coffee. They had lots of good options for breakfast. I felt like everyone could find something to eat for breakfast. Overall, we were impressed and would stay again.

The place is falling apart. My room was so full of mold, mildew, and water damage from the tub nonstop leaking the walls were literally peeling and our white clothing had mildew stains on them by the next day. The heavy set lady at the check in is very rude, unhelpful, and unfriendly. The hot tub temp needs to be adjusted, its set extremely high, much higher than normal hot tub temperatures. The place is rundown and NASTY. I will never be back.

The staff was amazing! The room on the other hand was not so good. When we first walked in all we could smell was weed. It had a bullet hole in one of the walls and the shower constantly leaked. When asked for some room spray the person had the from sealed handed me deodorant spray. On the last day when we asked for clean towels they had ran out and given us hand towels to use… would I stay there again? Probably not. But again you do get what you you pay for.

The only reason I’m giving this a poor rating and not terrible is because of the staff being so nice. Other than that the photos are very misleading. This place is dirty. The balconies are rusted, we had bed bugs on our box springs, and dead bugs on the floor. Major water damage and mold. Also noticed the elevator license was absent and the elevator felt like it was going to collapse at any moment.

The pictures do not represent the true appearance of this hotel. The whole place was filthy. Our room had not been cleaned. Someone else’s soap and shampoo was still in the shower. Sink was stopped up. Beds and pillows were absolutely horrible. Signage states it is under construction but no work looked to be going on. The lazy river and pool were down in the basement and it was disgusting. Don’t trust any reviews that are positive because they are not true. Save yourself from making a mistake by staying here!

I was very disappointed in the room, the drapes were half hung on the sliding door. The carpet looked as if it had not been cleaned, had stains all over it. The beds did not have a bedspread on them (half made up). There was 1 wash cloth, 1 towel and 1 hand towel for our room of 3 people. We left the room thinking that they would come and replenish the towels and washcloth, did not happen. The trashcan was running over, it was not emptied either. Advertised on web with indoor and outdoor pool, outdoor pool was not in operation. and indoor pool was down several flights of stairs. My husband just had knee surgery and could not climb the stairs. Per the picture on the web, it appeared to 2 2 sets of stairs. I climbed down at least 4 sets of stairs. and still did not see the pool.

It is an older building that is in the process of being updated. It had everyth8ng we needed, room was clean, elevator was great since we were on the 5th floor. The breakfast was simple but fed us and thats all that matters. We stayed two nights and after two long days at the waterpark it was clean, quiet and comfortable. And you can't beat the low rates!!!

We got to our room and walked in and immediately smelled a urine odor. It made it difficult to sleep it was so strong.. they gave us one wash cloth.. also hair on the wall of the shower. 0/10..

This place looks nothing like what online shows. This place is run down and nasty! We had to leave a day early because we was in room 625 and the ceiling was leaking! So we just couldn’t take anymore of this place! This place needed to be shut down and remolded. The pool area is real little and not maintained at all. Only one elevator worked. Ice machine on 6th floor didn’t work. But I do give credit to the housekeeper she came in everyday made sure we had clean towel and wash rags and got our trash.

The bathroom had black and green mold on the ceiling. The shower drain was clogged with 14 inches of slimy hair that I pulled out, just so I could shower and not have my feet and ankles in standing water. The pool area look dirty, as well as the hallway leading down to the pool. I get there are renovations in progress. But installing strip lights in the hallways should not be the priority at this time. Health dept needs to visit. Mattress all have dips where they have been over used. Thankfully we didn’t find any bugs. We showed the clerk the pics and video at the front desk upon checking out. She acted somewhat concerned, but I feel it was just for my benefit.

I was assigned room 404. Horrible room, dirty, worn interior, stained ceiling tiles., fan in bathroom hanging down by wires, room light blinking and not working. Room / building smelled of stale marijuana smoke. We had driven 6.5 hours to get there from Kentucky. We changed the bed linens with some from home as we always do, and tried to make it happen. We checked in at 9:03 PM, ran to the Outback Steak House for some dinner, came back and tried to go to sleep. Something bit me on the face and I said, \"That's it, we are leaving.\" I gathered all our stuff up, loaded in the car and checked out at 12:08 AM. This hotel has old, dirty photocopied signs hanging up in the lobby stating' \"Pardon our mess while we remodel.\" This seems to have been one of the rooms needing remodeling since 1992, it was horrible. If I could give this nasty, horrible place a negative 5 stars, I would do it.
Stay away. you are wasting your time. This place is horrible, life sucking, hotel straight from The Shinning.

The property was very run down. There look to be mold on the ceiling tiles, or around the vents, thought the hotel. The pool and lazy river were much smaller than portrayed in the photos, and looked run down as well. Our room had an open fixture hole in the ceiling in the bathroom. The worst thing of all- the mattress was horrible. Lumpy, hard, felt like we were laying directly on the springs! On the plus side- after the first night housekeeping brought us new towels and changed the bed covers. The staff seemed friendly, and they provided a pretty decent breakfast.

Its a very run-down place. They are trying to make improvements so I give them that but its not there yet. There are signs for vending machines all over but they dont have any. Only a standing cooler in the lobby. Carpets are gross. They do have a pool with a lazy river. Didn't try it because the way down to it was like going in a creepy basement. Passing rusting doors and spots that appeared to be mold. The bathroom in the room had missing parts and stained ceiling. The beds were hard but lumpy somehow. The pillows were 2 different kinds. 1 was a so soft it flattened the moment your face hit the pillow. The other was like a hard square couch pillow. There were small stains on bedding. Booked 3 nights stayed one because we were so creeped out. There was a room marked Breakfast Room, but we left before trying. After some cleaning and a few improvements it could be a nice hotel but as is I can not recommend.

Had to fight with the shower to get it to work. The balcony had huge cracks in the floor the blinds from the vent was all chipped off. The pool area nasty black and mild tips by hot tub. We checked in, went up to our room and immediately left! The hallway had exposed wires and our door did not have a lock. I contacted the booking site immediately and they left a message to speak to the GM. Before we left we asked the front desk staff if the manager was there, she was very nice, and told us he was not but would contact us. The booking site and myself tried several times and nothing.

Días, y eso que hubo un día que no bajamos a desayunar y tampoco lo hicimos los 4.aveces yo sola y otra vez con 2 más. Las paredes dentro del cuarto tenían partes repelladas sin terminar de pintar,gabetas rotas,silla rota del espaldar del balcón, oxidadas barandas, polvo en los cristales de las puertas que dan para el balcón y ventana.Hola les estoy llamés la piscina interior el agua estaba congelada no estaba climatizada solo el Lazy River y la jacuzzi no trabajaba muy mal estado el área de la piscina toda descascarañada y sin pintura.La piscina exterior estaba rota. bañadera y toilet bien pero el techo muy malo y los colchones ni se diga superviejos se hundían y manchados no descansamos bien.Solo solamente hay una máquina de hielo en el primer piso y bien lejos hacia atrás.hubo veces que no tenía hielo.bien la cortesía en lobby de los desodorantes.La Housekeeper muybien 1 solo elevador trabajando.parking Ok. hotel nesecita Remodelacion.parece de☆

Me gustó que el personal fue muy amable en generar todos los de front Desk y la muchacha que hacía la habitación estuvimos en la habitación 1434.Aparte de cortesia sí nos dieron regalitos de desoborantes en el lobby para hombre y mujer. aparte de shampú ,la cremita y jabón en la habitación,el A/C super,me gustó también la ubicación y la forma del hotel,lo que no nos gustó fueron:Las almohadas demasiado blandas o viejas,los colchones muy malos se hundían,todos tuvimos dolores de espalda,independientemente estaban manchados, en la cómoda,habían gavetas rotas.No había plancha tuve que pedir una de otro cuarto,tuvimos que esperar por toallas, limpias,porque no habían y la muchacha me explicó que habían acabado de ordenar,pero sabían agotados,porque parece que algunos huespedes tienen malas mañas ,tienen tienden a llevarse las grandes para su casa,entonces,por eso había el déficit,los balcones tenían oxidados Todas las barandas,uno de los asientos estaba roto en el espaldar de los que están en el balcón,a pesar de que la vista estaba bien bonita para los lados y al frente que quedaba el otro hotel del parque de agua,en general el hotel está falta de pintura y que arreglen las puertas de los cuartos.Que limpien bien las puertas que dan para el balcón estaban llenas de polvo,el grifo lavamano no cerraba bien y el techo del baño estaba amarillo una parte y mohoso como si hubo goteras.tambien pool afuera rota y adentro agua muy fría y Jacuzzy no trabaja,agua bien y la del lazzy river

I had to cancel my booking due to health issue. The rooms were not hygienic. The bath room tap was leaking. Free of mold in the rooms and bathroom. Found mosquitoes in the room coz the balcony door was left open when i enter the room. Very strong smell of mold and the room seemed to be remained locked for long time. The pool was not clean. Over all not good experience. My kids could not stand by even for an hour in the room.

Best part was staff. Although they are going through construction right now. I only stayed one night with my son so didn't get to try the pool out like I would have liked, but if all the elevators had been working at the time I could have since I was on a cane. If not for the sweet staff and the amount you get to choose from for their breakfast I could see the construction as being an issue . I believe this place has potential and have no problem staying here again.

Such a little gem! Spacious room too. Not gonna lie, I booked it for the lazy river but was surprised to find that most rooms had their own balcony. Please fix the other elevator. Only one was working and we could not take the stairs as we were traveling with a wheelchair bound child.

My husband and I rented a room for the weekend to go hiking in the mountains. Upon arrival we could immediately see this was not as it was described. Very run down. Upon check in the staff was not very friendly. We got up to our floor and immediately identified they were doing renovations. Which is fine but no indication on the listing or by the hotel. When we got to our room complete disappointment. The room was not as described and it was dirty nasty. We had no WiFi in our room. Limited towels. There was something disgusting on the walls and bedding. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling down. I would NOT recommend to anyone.

We found drugs were left in the drawers in our room on the first night. The beds were not clean. The sheets and covers had burn holes and stains. Half the elevators are not operating. The outside pool was empty, and the inside pool and lazy river were less than desirable. It boasts a 5 minute walk from the island but given traffic and having to cross the parkway, it seems like that was highly unlikely. I was very disappointed because this wasn't even one of the cheaper rated rooms. I can understand remodeling but the way they are going about it is awful.

Breakfast 6:30-9:00 strictly enforced. Wife went down to get coffee 8: 58. Another lady was there telling staff the coffee pot was empty. She just replied we're closed we're not making any more and closed door on them.

I received an email from the GM before arriving to check-in and he was letting me know that not only was the outdoor pool open but so was the indoor pool and lazy river. When we arrived there was a lobby full of people waiting to be checked-in and only one guy at front desk. Our room had the view of the outdoor pool and hot tub which were completely drained of water and disgustingly needing much repairs. The entire stay our floor smelled of marijuana which was supposed to be a non-smoking floor never mind the fact that it’s illegal. Quite time is 10pm but there was constantly running up and down the halls. Our air in our room did not work properly. The bathroom was missing a vent cover, heat lamp bulb and cover, hand rail in tub which left two huge holes that were not patched. Then we saw a cockroach. I booked because of the amenities and the 6.5 rating which clearly had to be a lie and no vending or ice machines anywhere.. Each door leading to outside was left unlocked every night where my family and I saw a homeless woman asleep on the concrete steps. The lazy river’s light in the pool was floating in the water while still attached to electrical wire. My niece was approached by a female asking if she had weed and when she said no the girl turned around and mumbled, “Yeah she’s lying” then came back where my niece was sitting and crowded her in the hot tub with four guys. Luckily my daughter was with her and they left to come tell me what had happened. I do not recommend!!!

Room was nice and it was great having a balcony. Breakfast was good. Location was great. Very disappointed in the pool. Needs renovating, no tubes available for the lazy river and there were dirty socks and an article of clothing laying on the ground along with an open can of pringles and half drank soda. Going all the way into the basement didn’t feel safe when it appeared abandoned and not cared for.
