This hotel doesn't even deserve 3 stars. It doesn't really smell good, the sheets and pillows are dirty. The rooms smell really bad, however the reception staff are friendly. I do not recommend this establishment. I was in a hurry to leave him.

The lack of cleanliness and ventilation has created an environment that is not only uncomfortable but also potentially hazardous to health, particularly considering the current global health situation.

The room's uncleanliness is evident, with dirt, grime, and dust present throughout. Equally concerning is the lack of proper ventilation, leading to stagnant and uncomfortable air quality. This compromises both comfort and safety, potentially facilitating the spread of infections.

I implore you to take immediate action to address these issues. A thorough cleaning and improvement of ventilation are essential. The well-being of your guests is at stake, and I urge your team to prioritize their health and safety.

I will strongly not recommend this hotel to any new customers.

Towels are in very bad condition dirty and hard, lids of the dustbins in the bathrooms doesnot open, minibar doesnot work, rooms doesnot accommodate extra bed, bathrooms doesnot have exhaust fans

The room was spacious enough for 3, clean and neat, the staff very accommodating with respect to early check-in’s and late check-outs and responded promptly to every query or need. Good spread of yummy food. Couldn’t ask for more. Made our stay very comfortable.

It was an old hotel and the rooms (I tried 2) were smelling of mold. I understand it comes from the central air condition, which I think they should replace. I'm sure it was a beautiful hotel back in the day, but it sucks now. Try somewhere else.

Pride located in centre of city.It is close to many theatres ,restaurants and malls.Eventhough its an old hotel interior of room and reception are maintained very well.Food quality at restaurant is good.As awhile its a good budget hotel

Excellent hotel in chennai. And the staff are really good and they were able to allow an early check-in and late check-out. everything was excellent except for the bar which was horrible and not well stocked, bar tender had no knowledge bout drinks. But the others things made up for it.

Good price but dont expect much else

The location is good, the price is decent the staff is friendly but the hotel is not maintained well. The main lobby has strong musty smell, the elevator is small and dirty, the rooms are just ok.

Good Hotel in strategic location.

Nice stay at pride as it was convenient to travel to US consulate for two days and i have got my US visa on time. I really appreciate because they helped me in early check in at 7.00 am and upgraded me to a better luxury room as i had some issue with toilet. But they all extended their support and had good experience.

Nothing great!

Nothing fantastic about this hotel. Only thing I could think of was the staff at the restaurant. He speaks well and excellent customer service.

Bathroom was small, towels were dirty, toilet bowls were dirty too!

Will not stay again!

Took an hour to find this hotel. It is away from the main street, but loved the view from our room. We arrived around 10pm after almost 8 hours of drive from Chennai. All we wanted was a good, hot shower but to our dismay the hot shower was not working. They took 2 hours to get that repaired. The staff were trying their best, but its just that we were so frustrated!

Consider to stay somewhere else.

The air conditioning spits water and the room feels very moist and smells weirdly. The reception staff are not flexible or understanding so, please be very eloquent during your enquiry. The food is expensive and very basic. Internet is charged.

Time for renovation!

Have stayed at Pride several times earlier. Good value for money.
However this time, it appeared the hotel(especially the rooms&services) needed repairs-wall papers peeling off, stained upholstery, and most importantly the water in the toilet seemed contaminated(strong odour and taste of oil).

Calm Comfortable rooms

It was great staying at The Pride Hotel Chennai. The rooms were calm, clean and comfortable. The services were quick and the staff was polite. The food was really good and the ambience was great.

4* but NO Wifi, Located Near Chennai Central

There was no wifi internet available in the Hotel which was a bit surprining. The Hotel and Rooms were clean and well maintained. The Dining options were good in the past however it seems the chef has changed and the food quality has gone down drastically. The roof top restaurant \"Puran da Dhaba \" as a concept is good. The restaurant ambience is very pleasent but can do with a better chef and with a better singer or no singer. The singer was loud and off-key and was spoiling the atmosphere.

decent business hotel but pool not great. dinner on the terrace is nice with great service. service overall was quite good. wish the pool was better and bigger and cleaner. staff is helpful.

Short Stay Convenient Location

I usually stay in the Fortune at OMR when travelling to Chennai for business. But for a short personal visit, this was decently priced and clean and good hotel. The only thing really lacking was maybe the quality of room service.

Disappointing

Please give feedback that the fridge in the room was not working resulting in much discomfort as our drinks were warm and chocolate melted. Even after calling reception they only replaced it the morning we were leaving.

The TV only had the local channels and all the international channels were not working. When we enquired they told us that they had reported the fault a week ago.

Also the wireless internet was not working at all.Having an iPad I could not access the internet which hampered my business that I was planning to do.

All in all I would not like to stay back in that hotel,

Value for money!

Didn't have high expectation but found it to be value for money business hotel.. seems popular for Corporate conferences and medical tourists visiting hospitals in the vicinity. Have stayed in a few in this area and must say this is one of the best for its restaurants, clean rooms and pleasant staff.. not so nice was the poky toilet in the room I stayed in and \"no wifi\"!!

Great hotel at a great price ...

Stayed at Pride Hotel for 2 nights during my recent business trip. It's a great hotel at a great price. Definitely checkout the roof-top restaurant (Dhaba).

Only 2 things, the hotel management needs to look at -
1. provide wi-fi connection instead of just in-room wired internet connection
2. a better gym. current gym is a cramped one.

The Hotel Pride, Has no Pride in Hyderabad

There were rats in the airducts of my room fighting. I tried to communicate this with the staff at 3am in the morning to move my room but their ability to understand was so poor I ended up having to stay until the morning. I immediately checked out. No manager or assistant manager to speak with, or maybe they were hiding as they knew about this problem long before my experience.

DON'T stay at the NO Pride hotel!!!!!

If you spend under $90 for this hotel, then it will certainly be a comfortable stay, but not worth the $120 plus tax that I spent on this hotel. Truly disappointing. It looks nice online and boasts all sorts of amenities that are lacking. The gym is very small, the \"jacuzzi\" is really just a bath tub with jets that they will fill up for guests in the spa room. The pool is really a water fountain area within the restaurant. I doubt anyone would swim while people are eating lunch?? There is no \"Fuel\" bar, as advertised. It is not worth the money I spent, but is comfortable if you might get it for less. Expect 3 star accomodations. The staff are very nice. Stay at Taj Mount Road or GRT Grand if you want a 4 star hotel!

Completely satisfied

We arrived very early in the morning and were concerned that this might not work for them. The hotel was ready and waiting. They have a large well trained staff and they handled everything flawlessly. The service was great and the restaurant on the lobby floor was wonderful. The breakfast was included an was a outstanding. We were completely satisfied and will book the Pride in Chennai and look for the chain in other towns as we visit India.

da dimenticare

Hotel lontano da tutto in un quartiere dove non c\"è nulla,solo un cantiere della futura metropolitana,traffico caotico,I primi piani sono occupati da una clinica,dalle finestre il panorama è semplicemente desolante.Si potrebbe prendere in considerazione a metà del prezzo richiesto che è troppo esagerato per il servizio offerto,da evitare senza ombra di dubbio.

Non molto pulito

Camere piccoline e non molto pulite. Soprattutto gli asciugamani (ho avuto il dubbio che fossero già usati). In bagno c'era un cattivo odore (simil fogna).
Ristorante in terrazza a bouffet: non abbiamo mangiato perchè quando siamo arrivati e abbiamo visto il cibo non ci ha convinti.
Ristorante al piano terra: abbiamo mangiato bene.
Lunghissime le pratiche di check in....non trovavano la prenotazione!
E il bagaglio in camera non arivava mai. Siamo dovuti scendere a sollecitarlo.
