It is a good hotel for the location and price range.
But we had some inconveniences with one of the receptionists. We asked them to check on the AC because it seems not to be working. She gave us a bad attitude like and said she was going to send someone. We told her we could sleep the first night in that room if she was sending someone next morning. (It wasn’t too hot so for us wasn’t a problem that first night) Next day we left in the morning and they were supposed to send someone to fix it while we were outside. (This next day the temperature outisde was warmer so we will need the AC) we came back and asked if they fixed it and she said yes (again giving us a bad attitude as if we are not paying for it) the room was way too hot so we called her and told her it wasn’t fixed. She when up in the room to check. Giving us a bad face. Then she want us to down grade to another room. We said not because that’s was not what we paid for. Then she was on the phone with someone and gave us another room which was like the one we paid for (but AC working).
PD. The rest of the staff was great and welcoming.
I don’t remember her name but she is tall and black.

Rooms were clean and quiet. The heating system stopped working in our room but it was fine. I booked balcony view but our room faced a corner of the building so that was disappointing. Other than that we had our windows open so that was nice for fresh air.
Breakfast was great and well stocked, simple continental breakfast with eggs and bacon.
Location was fair, a 10min walk in either direction will bring you to many restaurants and bars.

This place is much smaller than advertised. The reception desk is a tiny table right under the stairwell! The rooms are small. The rooms are very old (in desperate need of remodeling) and use the old fashioned method of requiring you to place your room key in a slot to get light. The hallway is very dark. For safety reasons, the lights should always remain lit. You shouldnt step off the small elevator and be plunged into darkness. The best hope they have is to reimagine themselves as an elegant boutique hotel. There are cards in the room that state you will get a complimentary tote bag. When we asked the manager about this she seemed puzzled by this and then said she didnt have any. The breakfast not only looked stale but despite the fact that we were paying customers the lady monitoring the check in list said she couldnt find our names

The hotel is conveniently located on a main street, close to restaurants, shops and transport. My room was a good size for 1 person but the bathroom was rather small. Shower had a half door and the partition wasn't secured well at the base, so I had to be very careful or risk soaking the floor.
The breakfast offerings were decent.
Staff were lovely and very helpful. A decent location in the 6th if you're on a budget.

Do not stay here! First of all the location is terrible. It is on the very very outskirts of St. Germaine and there was pee all over the sidewalks all around. The hotel itself is dark, dingy, and rooms are tiny. 5 of the 6 outlets in our room didn’t even work, and when I told the staff she tried to blame it on our converters. It was not our converters as they worked in the one functional outlet. They offered to move us to an even smaller and darker room… no thanks. Despite the internet pics of balconies and the Eiffel Tower our room over looked a dark alley with the air/heating boxes. When I contacted Expedia they tried to contact the hotel whom refused to answer the phone. Despite the fact we had booked 3 nights we checked out the next morning and I would never go back. 10/10 DO NOT recommend

The reception area and overall hotel were quite small. The room was very tight for two people and had only one small closet, which also housed a mini fridge at the bottom, leaving little space to store clothes or luggage. The carpet had a slightly musty smell.
The Balcony was undesirable and not worth paying the extra fee. The bathroom tub was difficult to step into due to its height, and the toilet seat was loose and didn’t properly fit the bowl.
Location was good with easy access transit and restaurants.

Good hotel, central location

Our room was clean and well appointed, but it was small, which was not unexpected. Comfortable bed and a good size bathroom with a nice shower. The elevator is fine but tiny, enough room for 4 friendly folks or 2 with a suitcase each. The hotel uses sensors to turn hallway and stair lights on/off. However, when walking up the stairs the lights in certain areas do not turn on until you have taken a few stairs in the dark. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our view was into other walls but no one could see in to our room. 2 windows in the bath and the one in our bedroom all opened and in the morning we could smell the local bakeries.
The hotel is in a nice central location and we were able to walk to Noter Dame, the Louve and the Eifel Tower. It’s a long walk, but hey, it’s Paris. A nice hotel and I would stay there again.

This hotel was an excellent experience for my first time visiting Paris and as a solo traveler. Staff was accommodating, breakfast excellent variety my driver was there on time to take me to the airport. The area was central but the only thing it was about a 20 minute walk to be accessible to everything. My room was clean and had all the amenities needed and I had the best night’s sleep every night after a long day of sightseeing.

Property location was good,close to bus, metro and gare montpagnasse. However, quite old and not quite like the pictures, A bit dark inside the rooms. Also, no laundry service was available on property and I was asked to take it down the road to a laundry service. One of the front staffs was not very helpful or nice. Overall, if you just need a room to stay the night, can be an option.

Boutique size hotel, with small 2 person elevator. Half the rooms have windows to the center of the building, no view. I selected this hotel for the safe neighborhood, close walking access to major metro lines, paid parking next door (€45/day), and they have slightly larger square footage per room.

There were great restaurants, bakeries and cafes in each direction.

The hotel fit my needs perfectly. Centrally located amongst the shops and restaurants. If you’re up to walking it’s a nice 30 minute walk to Notre Dame or a quick 14 minute taxi ride. It was right in the heart of everywhere you needed to be. I wound up booking the Big Red bus tour to take me around to all the sites. Couldn’t have asked for a better location and hotel

This was an average hotel. The service was okay but not amazing. We asked for shower gel as we only had two lots of shampoo. We had to ask twice before getting any. We also had to ask for water and felt this should have been replenished automatically.

The room is comfortable but very small, good enough for 1pax staying a couple of nights but would be tight for 2pax. My room had no table, just a small shelf next to the bed to place a kettle and cups, but my friend had one in hers. Location was good, a couple of min walk to the subway.

The guy who checked us in at night was great, friendly cheerful and helpful. He came to check and offered to change rooms for me when I complained of the weak aircon (I declined because it was the same in other room), but he still offered to bring a fan if I should need one later in the night. On the other hand, the lady doing the day shift looked and acted like she’s there only because she needed a job. A total 180deg difference in service and attitude from the night shift guy.

Easy to find and 2 minutes from Metro station. It’s located on a main road which is not too busy which I preferred to a side street. I felt very safe in this area. Lots of restaurants, a pharmacy, Monoprix about 5-6 minutes walk and a major train station. Our room overlooked the main road, which was good. The room was bigger than expected. Had heard hotel rooms in Paris can be quite small, our room wasn’t and easy to move around at ease. The bathroom was roomy, overall impressed.

I had paid extra for breakfast and knew what to expect from website. It was as expected and enjoyable.

My only criticisms are, the reception is just a desk at the bottom of the stairs which was unusual. And the lobby area became crowded when guests were checking in. Also, I wasn’t able to use the safe in the bedroom as no one was able to reset it, not even with a key - disappointing. Also, after we checked out and came back for our luggage late afternoon, there was no one on reception. Guests waiting in the lobby had to let us in to collect our luggage. I thought we could have been anyone and stolen someone’s luggage. I was concerned that my luggage although in an unlocked cupboard could have been stolen by anyone. My third and last criticism is the bedside table. They were cute, small and round. Not practical at all. You couldn’t put much in them. Please upgrade for something bigger or at least square or rectangular.

Would I return to this hotel, definitely. I enjoyed my stay there.

Be careful, this hotel has bed bugs!
I booked a standart balcony room and got room #505 on the 5-th floor accordingly.
On June 16-th at 4 am I woke up , because of body itching. Immediately I found two big bed bugs, they were really big and visible, which means they were there a while.
The guy on the reception who barely spoke English changed the room for me to Standart without balcony on the second floor.
Later I spoke with manager by phone and she said I’m going to be compensated just for 2 nights (I booked for 4). The made a refund, but unfortunately as the way talked to me (all staff) like it was my fault … and even didn’t worry about my stressful state and all the impression about this hotel they gonna leave.
My vacation was ruined, I didn’t normally sleep for two nights , because of stress, because of bugs , because of moving at 4:30 am , because of body itching (keep doing it even now) and also the attitude I got after this incident.
I took all the pictures with bugs, with bites, with blood on the linen . Sadly as I see Expedia doesn’t have a function to attach the pictures , but I would be happy to share them and achieve justice.

Over all this hotel is exactly what we needed for our stay- 5 min walk from a metro station, many stores and cafes around, welcoming stuff, pleasing breakfast & the hotel is quite clean. We didn't like the fact that we could not feel the AC even though we were told it is working (paris could get really hot and humid so AC is a must). Also the maids skipped a day of cleaning our room (maybe because we got out a little late that day).. other than that everything was great!

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. I paid for the full amount upon check in, however as I checked out, the front desk person asked me if I was going to pay for my stay? I informed him, I paid upon check in, nothing more was said. When I got home from my flight, I received an email that I had not paid for my stay, and to contact them. I emailed them back twice immediately-NO reply. They have changed my credit card TWICE now for the FULL amount, and will not respond to my 5 other messages to them. The safe in my friend’s room would not unlock and we had to wait for the manager to come back to work 3 days later with the key to open it. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !! I am still waiting for a reply from the hotel and a refund for the second charge !

We had a great stay in Hotel Royal Saint Germain. It’s been recently refurbished to a high standard and is in a great location near the metro but also walking distance from the centre (about 30mins to Notre Dame). We had a room facing the internal courtyard which was very dark (and not a great view) and the room would have benefitted from extra lighting as it was hard to do make up given the room was so dark. The soundproofing is also not great so make sure you bring earplugs!

Lovely room and a great location. We walked to the Eiffel Tower from the hotel which was great and there are many restaurants, cafes and bakery’s close by. Other locations such as the Louvre were only a very short journey via metro or bus. The rooms were spacious and clean. Would highly recommend.

Loved this hotel. It looked like it had been recently renovated and it was so nice and modern. It is small, so if breakfast is busy in the mornings you’ll have to wait for a table but we never had to wait long. Location was great, lots of shops and restaurants near by as well as easy public transport links. You must eat at Le Relais de l'entrecote which is round the corner - was the best food we had in paris. Would definitely return!

Great location for multiple metro lines.
Lots of nice cafe/brassiere close by- cafe montparnasse was our favourite for dinner.

Lovely staff- spoke excellent English and made check in/ check out so easy.

Breakfast was good/okay - croissants were nice, good selection of juices, cheeses, meats and cereals - coffee machine wasn’t great but no big deal.

Walls are a little thin- we could hear every time one of our neighbours opened or closed their door which woke us up a couple of times but overall not a deal breaker.

Loved having rituals body products to use in the bathroom, they smelt amazing.

We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great until they started having issues with their fire alarms. The alarms woke us up at 3:40am and we all had to go outside. We ended up checking out that same morning. They only charged us for the taxes. This happened 2 days un a row. All the guests were very upset.

Breakfast was good and worths to buy. But the room did not have air conditioning. I told the lobby , they said they will check but never did. We stayed there during heat wave and was not fun. Also second day the cleaning lady took the soap but never replaced with new one. I asked the receptionist, he just told me go to hotel bathroom and take the one from there. They never put new soap while we stayed for 4 days.

Well to start , all the pictures on your site no longer match that of the existing hotel. Part of my choice was made on the Parisian ambiance, decoration,location,and price but upon arrival it no longer resembled the pics and even with their remodel it looked run down and rooms were smaller than pictured! They had multiple tripping hazards in narrow halls with laundry,old bedding and long vacuum hoses left out for days! Staff was nice and the buffet was plentiful/good. Hard to rest with pigeons at the window and a midnight fire alarm going off without explanation either. Overall fair with much need of updating website and safety issues.

The hotel is in a great part of town. Easy access to transportation, shopping, and eating. The building however is very old and the rooms definitely show their age.

Great location and cozy hotel. Small but sufficient for the price. Parking nearby is expensive but overall I would stay again as it’s close to the metro and lots of restaurants and shops.
