Beautiful and friendly boutique hotel with attention to detail. Our bags were brought in, we were upgraded, beach towels provided, only a short walk to a beach club and the old fortress. The bed was so comfortable with a relaxing lavender pillow spray on hand. Tv had YouTube and Netflix. The breakfast was delicious and served to our table.

Fantastic boutique hotel where attention to detail is paramount. From the moment you arrive to the second you leave the staff cannot do enough for you. The hotel is 25 mins walk into Old Corfu town and less than 10 mins taxi ride from the airport. The sea is 5 mins away as are a number of cafes and restaurants. If you’re missing your own dogs, Ira and Daniel are more than happy to receive cuddles!

The hotel staff give the hotel an excellent personal touch, always a welcome and a smile. Breakfast was good, freshly prepared fresh food and had no problem with my dietry needs. The day we had an early start to catch a boat trip they made sure we were served efficiently to help us get away.
The rooms were clean and airy with Aircon if needed, and the small bar area outside was a charming place to sit of an evening.
All the key places in the town are in walking distance - The hotel is 2 mins from the seafront which has a nice park area streatching along it with many good resteraunts only a few more minuites walk
- The airport is 15 mins walk away (I worried that would mean it was noisy but it proved not to be the case)
- The Old Town is 15 mins walk along the seafront - or a short bus ride if you prefer - bus stops almost outside the hotel - whilst the main bus station is only 10 mins away with busses to most parts of the island.
The down side- if you had a car parking may be difficult (but we found the car unnecessary) and the hotel has no pool, but the beaches were clean so neither of these were important

We had 2 short stays either side of a week in Rou in north-east Corfu and during the second stay, I became quite ill on the first evening, resulting in a hospital stay. All the staff at the Acanthus Blue treated both my husband and me like family and made sure we wanted for nothing. This hotel was amazing. The staff and service are the best we have ever experienced in our lives. Everyone is so great - we would definitely come and stay here again the next time we visit Corfu! I will say the only negative is that the internet is not great in the hotel, especially in our room we often had no wifi connection or cellular service. But if you were in the shared spaces the wifi worked fine. Otherwise, we loved this hotel so much :) And the breakfast is amazing as well!!

Our stay at Acanthus Blue was top notch. The warm welcome and hospitality we received throughout our stay was magnificent. Each staff member we encountered could not have been more friendly or helpful. We were lucky enough to encounter Dimitris every day of our 4-day stay. He checked us in and out, served us breakfast, always had a cold water bottle on hand, expedited our rental car and recommended wonderful places to visit. Most importantly, he befriended us and treated us to his wonderful sense of humor. Some people are made for the service industry – that is an understatement when it comes to the service we received from Dimitris and the entire staff at Acanthus Blue. And the breakfasts…perfection. Now that we are back in the States we are trying to recreate that delicious yogurt and fruit parfait and those fluffy, flavorful eggs. From beginning to end, our stay was perfect. The room was lovely and the air conditioning saved us during the heatwave. We truly hope to return. Our holiday in lovely Corfu and at the Acanthus is a definite favorite.

The acanthus blue is unique . A small quantity boutique hotel in a renovated old villa. The beautifully designed interior opens onto a courtyard garden.

My husband & I stayed at Acanthus Blue after I had emergency surgery in Greece. I was looking for a comfortable room with a nice shower. We were very pleased with Acanthus Blue. The bed was exceptionally comfortable & the room was beautiful. The staff that we dealt with were wonderful. Breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend Acanthus Blue.

This hotel is fabulous, from the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a very warm welcome. The room and bathroom are amazing so clean as is the whole hotel. A fabulous little hotel, tucked away but only 50m from the sea. The service was excellent... they couldn't do enough for us. We chose to eat in the beautiful peaceful courtyard restaurant in the evening and it really was fabulous food. If they chose to advertise more then I think this would be a very busy restaurant. The following morning the breakfast just kept coming ... we certainly didn't need any lunch. I gather they only opened just before the Covid pandemic so I wish them every success. It really is a little gem and we will definitely be recommending Acanthus Blue to our friends. Thank you

We could not have received a better service from Andreas and his team. They are clearly highly motivated, enjoy their work and really want to take care of their guests. The warmth and attention went way beyond anything one would normally expect. We were treated like old friends.

Lovely hotel and 20 minute walk to old town

A truly fantastic hotel about a 15 walk from the centre of the old town. Amazing attention to detail in a stunning building a minute’s walk from the sea wall. The rooms are gorgeous and extremely well equipped. The owner is well travelled and put an enormous amount of thought into this property. The staff couldn’t have been any more attentive, helpful and kind, always greeting you with a smile and offering assistance. I would come back to Corfu old town just to stay here again.

This is an outstanding small hotel in Corfu Town. 5 minutes to the airport & a 10 minute walk to the Old Town in a very clean & quiet location. It is a restored villa that maintains many of the charming old world features while also having modern, luxurious suites/rooms & a lovely restaurant and garden.
But the staff was unquestionably the most professional, friendly & accommodating I have ever (and I travel a lot) met. Andres the concierge, bartender, general restaurant manager & all around helpful person on site & available at all times was exceptional! There was not a detail that slipped by him; he makes the Acanthus blu a 5 Star hotel! Additionally, the receptionist was equally excellent, happy to accommodate all requests and always there with the brightest smile to greet us!
Finally, to note, the restaurant is amazing. Breakfast for kings and delicious local specialties for dinner at very reasonable prices. The wine selection is also of the highest caliber.
I cannot recommend the Acanthus blue Hotel enough! It is everything I want in a comfortable, convenient, friendly, classy hotel (we stayed for 3 nights)!
But the staff was unquestionably the most professional, friendly & accommodating I have ever (and I travel a lot) met. Andres the concierge, bartender, general restaurant manager & all around helpful person on site & available at all times was exceptional! There was not a detail that slipped by him; he makes the Acanthus blu a 5 Star hotel! Additionally, the receptionist was equally excellent, happy to accommodate all requests and always there with the brightest smile to greet us!
Finally, to note, the restaurant is amazing. Breakfast for kings and delicious local specialties for dinner at very reasonable prices. The wine selection is also of the highest caliber.
I cannot recommend the Acanthus blue Hotel enough! It is everything I want in a comfortable, convenient, friendly, classy hotel (we stayed for 3 nights)!

We enjoyed every moment in this stunningly decorated small hotel. The outside area is beautifully lite during the evening and a lovely place to sit with a glass of wine.
Breakfasts are plentiful and beautifully presented. All the staff are wonderful. The rooms are super comfortable with high thread count bedding and quality bathroom fittings, plus nuxe toiletries. We really like the location, 20 minutes walk around picturesque Garista Bay and into the old town. We will visit again next year

Nice boutique hotel close to Old Town
Acanthus Blue is a beautiful little boutique hotel, which is in walking distance to Corfu Old Town. Our room was pretty small but smartly set-up and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom on the other hand was pretty big and had a nice large rain shower. While the hotel is nicely renovated, you can tell that it’s an old building when it comes to noise and isolation. Despite closed windows, it can get pretty noisy. One of the highlights was definitely breakfast. Super delicious and freshly made right there in an outdoor “kitchen” in the courtyard. Extra plus: homemade pear and fig jam by the owner, which was super yummy. Staff was friendly, yet did not show the helpfulness with requests that we had hoped for and that we experienced in other hotels during our stay.
