Upon arrival we were checked in, told our room was ready and given our room key. Only when we open the door were surprised by the cleaning staff laying on the bed scrolling thwir phones. They stayed laying onnthe bed and simply said the room is not ready, barley long enought to stop they scrolling on their phones. Went back to the front desk and was just given all the reasons this could have happend. No apology or discussions about how inappropriate that is. Just \"Oh they must be on break\". So all the staff lay together on patrons beds chilling for their break. Unbelievably unprofessional.

Due to blizzard conditions on the day of my booking I was unable to travel to Corner Brook. After following the steps online to cancel my reservation, prior to the deadline. I assumed the booking was cancelled. Later that evening I received a check-in satisfaction survey email. Clearly there are multiple steps to cancelling the booking, other than clicking the Big Cancel Booking button on Expedias website. I contacted to the hotel moments later and was told they could nothing as it was booked through Expedia. ThenContacted Expideia said they trieNo one was able to help me and I was Charged. I will never use this site again.

Room was clean and modern. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Staff were very friendly. The biggest issue is the parking lot. In the nighttime there is very little lighting and found myself driving into some huge potholes. It was an obstacle course to drive around the holes and ruts in the lot.

Definitely not a 9.2 guest rating. Old, toilet and shower super small with Gyproc damaged and missing tiles. The sink is in the hallway which is very inconvenient to use when the family is in bed or at night and not private and not able to use when the bathroom door is open. The bathroom door is falling off their hinges and very loud when opening and closing. Everything is old and dated, damaged or worn out. Not worth $200.00 a night, not even $100.00 a night.

Quality Inn Staff are unprofessional. I was stuck in Montreal, but they would not let me cancel my reservation. My trip was cut short, and again, they would not let me cancel my reservation. I paid for 2 nights at 2 different hotels and was unable to stay with them 2 out of 3 nights that I booked, but they still charged me for all 3... Ridiculous treatment of guests.

Garbage bags left at the front entrance for over two days.
Parking lot full of BIG pot holes
Hole punch in the wall from the door handle in the room.
Room smelled really bad. Smelled loke cigarettes
The sheer curtains were all wringled
One of the lamp shape has a hole in it.
Overall the experience wasn\"t pleasant.
It is unfortunate because with more love and attention this hotel has a lot of potential.

Excellent stay. Facility was sold out and was still extremely quiet. Great views of Corner Brook from your room and the restaurant. Checkin was quick and efficient with a very personable front desk staff. Our first choice in Corner Brook to stay anytime of the year. Bedding is very comfortable with a very nice A/C unit when the temp outside was 33C.

Upon arrival at room we found a bed that clearly had someone lounging on it with disheveled bedding and pillow askew. We couldn’t be moved as hotel was sold out and there was no housekeeping available to change the bed. We were given sheets and made the bed ourselves. Shower was also leaky and the outlet at the vanity didn’t work. We were given a discount in the form of credit through the third party whom we had booked prepaid.

The room was nice, clean (besides carpet) and quiet, beds were comfy. The service was excellent, very friendly staff and the restaurant was nice and friendly too. The only reason I give it less stars is because the carpets in the room are so dirty, they look visibly clean but they are so greasy. Do not take your shoes off.

Staff were great, restaurant was awesome, beds were nice and room was clean and plenty of room in it. Bathroom was very small, shower was only half covered and bathroom floor would get wet everytime you shower, phone didn't work and had a taped up cord. Parking lot was rough and had no lines painted to indicate where to park.

The location of the Quality Inn was perfect. It suited all of our needs. The staff at the front desk were super friendly and the house keeping staff always were pleasant even if just passing them on the hall. The site has been updated and the room was fresh and clean. The view out of our window was lovely as we could see the Bay. The only issue we had was that certain times of the day the water pressure was almost non-existent. Which made showering a bit of a challenge. I wouldn’t hesitate booking here again.

Both my wife and I are seniors.
There is no elevator although reception clerk gladly brought our larger bag to our door.
Which was appreciated.
We had a ten minute wait for the reservation clerk to return to holis counter.
I rely on the internet for business internet was extremely slow 3Mbps.
My home office is 100Mbps so my online work was down to 3%

I loved the hotel, it's really stunning views. I was disappointed when needing simple things like tylenol or feminin products there was no place to purchase these. They only had a small vending machine with food and only Halls for your throat. In an emergency, especially for women having access to toiletries is a standard need for any hotel. I would have rated it much higher if I didn't have to leave late at night to get Advil and tampons.
