I would have like the pool and hot tub working
Martina
The toilet was broken and wouldn't flush. The bath tub was dirty. Looked like bits of soap and hair in it.
Angelmae
Poor services, room wasn’t clean, garbage wasn’t taken out.
Payne
Kind and helpful at front desk , there was a major snow fall and they cleared out a lot of snow off the parking lot in the morning , room was nice and cozy
Mario
It was great
Crystal
The bed was super comfy and the staff were great. The pool was very cold but my daughter loved it :)
Samantha
The slide didn’t work at the hotel, but we loved the pool and hot tub. The restaurant had very yummy food. We will definitely be staying there again.
Samantha
We love the clean rooms!
Lynn
The staff was fantastic. No fault of his, but the Inn is outdated. It would need a huge renovation to bring it back from where is at.

Two stars at best
Not the worst hotel I've stayed at, but certainly not the best. Room was not clean, nor appealing. If you like the 90s outdated look, cement walls & tubs without a stopper, stay here.
Kathryn
Comfortable & friendly.
I decided to take my children to Peace River as they had never been there before. We chose to stay at BCMInns due to it having a pool. My kids & I were not disappointed. The customer service was fantastic and helped in whatever way we needed. The rooms are a bit dated, and the exterior was a little dirty. But overall we loved our stay there and would love to stay again in the future.
Greg
The room is untouched since 1960 or ‘70’s. Weird to have the bathroom sink outside of the bathroom. Pool was gross and smelled like toe fungus. Clearly many tenants and few tourists….

Overall experience was good. Bathroom had some areas of not so clean. Grouting on tub wall and rim of toilet. Staff were great.

DARLENE S
Beside the building being the colour pink, the room was comfortable and very clean. The bed spreads need to be updated. Staff are polite and friendly.
Stephen
Old building but it was as kept up nicely and room was clean.
Angie
The property looks abit older on the outside but I can see the rooms have been renovated. The units are VERY clean. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly.
I think some of the units are apartment type units so there were people hanging out like they've been there a aeuke so we were unsure at first. The pool area/hot tub are very clean as well. My son had a great time on the big waterslide.

Nothing fancy, but was perfect for me. Walking distance to most things downtown. Excellent A/C, which was much appreciated during a heatwave. Great blackout curtains (almost made me oversleep). Kitchenette was handy. Staff was pleasant.
Robert
The rooms are spacious and clean. Great location downtown
Bernardo

Mark
It had a pool and water slide for our child.
Claire
The rooms have recently had an upgrade done. Very nice perfectly equipped large cool and relatively quiet The only drawback was the train noise which is in no way the fault of the hotel but i have to add it in for people the need absolutel quietonlydrawbackwas the train
Jennifer
That staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Robert
The check in was fast and the location is very good. I was in a room with a kitchenette. The staff were very helpful and the restaurant in the motel is excellent.
Amy
Had a great stay! I could see they had done some upgrades that are putting them in the right direction. It was a bit confusing having two sides of the hotel across the road from each other. Overall, great stay!
James
It was older, but it worked
jonathan
Was upgraded to kitchenette for no extra cost
Cory
Very excellent for the price range! Will definitely stay again!!

I felt uncomfortable. There was a smell and transient activity outside. I called your office and asked for a refund and have had no response as of yet

I like the staff was very helpful when I told them about the bulb that did not work .It was replaced later on which was great. The room was very warm so I had to turn on the AC but it was very loud..Other than that it was good.Just a few things need improvement

Renovated room was nice.
The outside of the property needs updating, it looks run down.

the hotel room was dirty and when we pulled back the covers and there was blood on the sheets, we were appalled
eric
This property needs a hard clean. Even though there was a no smoking sign in the room , it still smelt of old smoke. The pool needed a vacuum and the steps to the pool a hard clean. I was very much appreciate that the staff let us use the hot tub, even though we went past the closing time.
Jared
It’s a place to lay your head, but the dollar to value isn’t there.
BRUCE
our workers said the was an ant infestation in the rooms
Eileen
The room smelled bad, old & musty. The carpet was sticky and dirty. Some dark coloured mold on the bathtub.
The bed itself was clean, but the room definitely needed a deep clean and an upgrade.

It was so nice all night and the stay was good. Trying to get a refund however was very hard and stressful for my damage deposit in the morning. (No one was at the front desk for over two hours)

Visit was only from Friday evening until Sunday morning but still had a chance for a few quick tours around the area. Would like to plan another trip for a longer stay. The area is beautiful.

Under Renovation
Property is under renovation. Very noisy after 9 AM. Even thou the weather is warming there is no heat to take chill out of room.
Robert
It was perfect for what I needed. A comfy bed, a hot shower, and an affordable price.
Sandis
Don’t book a room after 10pm
We didn’t even get to stay the night we booked. All because they don’t have anyone there to check you in after 10. There’s a phone in the lobby but don’t bother using it, they won’t pick up. They say it doesn’t work but I can hear more than 1 phone ring.
They gave us a free night and said we would be refunded but that didn’t happen so I basically paid for the “free night”.
Maybe a decent place if you check in before 10 but we were on a long road home.

Very cold unit even with heater cranked up. Uncomfortable sleep
Robert
I liked the location in downtown area of peace river. It is very scenic there and nice to walk around.

It was a place to sleep and have a shower, nothing to write home about. I would probably stay again if there was nowhere else to stay, but would try different hotels in Peace River before staying again.
Deborah
This is an older property. The rooms smell smoked in. The heat comes from the air conditioner if it is working and it was very noisy. The rooms appear to be cleaned if they are going to be used, we had to wait and we got there at 9PM. All in all disappointed and won't be going back.
Donna
Great
Very enjoyable.

Rustic find
Rooms were very basic but cozy. Had troubles figuring out the heat as there were 2 different types and only one worked. Water was hot and ready for showers. Beds were a bit uncomfortable. However, for the price we paid, it was over all a good stay.

Terrible place! Whenever someone would use the water in the room next to mine, the pipes would rattle in the walls and wake me up throughout the whole night.
Verified traveler
When the front desk clerk saw we had a pet, he charged us an extra $30. On the description of the room, it said it was a pet friendly motel. Why the extra charge? The first room had a broken air conditioner, so we had to move to another room. On the second night, the TV wouldn't work. No continental breakfast. Not overly impressed with this place.

When we arrived, the front desk clerk charged us an extra $30 because we had a pet. I felt this was unnecessary as it said in the description the place was pet friendly. The first room they gave us had a bad air conditioner. They gave us another room so we had to move. The second night the TV wouldn’t work. No continental breakfast either.

Pretty sketchy area, felt like our vehicle would get broken into. Didn’t really feel safe
Verified traveler
The room was dated. Smelled of dirty carpet and smoke. Property could use a coat of paint even just doors and door frames would be a vast improvement. Rip the disgusting carpet out it it revolting. Replace it with A washable Heavy duty vinyl plank flooring that will last a lifetime and easily washable. the staff was nice except the front desk guys preteen son belching so loud and echoed through the courtyard of the motel part and spitting onto the ground was rather disgusting. But kids will be kids. The windows had a thick sludge all over them and I could smell the tobacco so strong and I am a smoker.
Jaime
Microwave not working, funny smells inside the room and one light not working. For the price I paid I was expecting better conditions with at least breakfast to go bag like every other hotel I have stayed recently
SRidden
The service was above exceptional!
Staff were helpful and cared about our needs.
The room was clean and tidy.
The A/C worked.
There was a Keurig with coffee pods available.
I would stay here again.

The bathtub drain didn't drain good so while taking a shower you were standing in 3\" of water.
The fan in the bathroon squealed so loud I thought I would wake up the whole motel.
It wasn't very clean, hair all over the place and the microwave was dirty.
