Beautiful peaceful Masseria

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. We don’t usually choose half board but we are glad we did! The first night there was a buffet in the garden, of local food, this was the best buffet I have ever had, everything was so fresh and tasty and there was lots of vegetarian choice. We ate off the a la carte menu our other 2 nights, which again was amazing food, with lots of choice, as was breakfast. The pool area is lovely and the hotel is only a 10 minute drive to the lovely town of Otranto.
We had a standard room, the only criticism is the bathroom could do with a bit of an update, the shower wasn’t great with poor pressure if you had it on warm.
There was live music and dancing one night and we enjoyed the tour of the underground Oil Mill and Olive Oil Tasting which was provided by the hotel.

I have managed luxury hotels in Canada for over 35 years and this hotel was amazing. I did not expect such amazing grounds, room, pool, restaurant, breakfast, amenities and such amazing staff. Trust me, you will not be disappointed if you stay here. My best stay ever in Italy. Luxury and attention to detail at it’s finest. Grazie Mille !!

Such a stunning find. A personable hotel, we were gifted an upgraded room for my birthday. I didn’t expect such a chic hotel, the staff were super friendly, the coffees delicious, breakfasts stunning. The cheese trolley with homemade cheese and homemade olive oil was sensational. I would absolutely love to come and stay here again. We were so lucky to stay here. The pool areas with cabanas were fabulous. Just what we needed after a busy few days.

Book immediately! This place was magical; the staff, the food, the pool-it all exceeded our expectations. The staff gave us great recommendations for sight seeing, and led us to places we otherwise would not have visited. The dinner blew us away, every taste was rich with flavor. Stefano made our dining experience remarkable with his professionalism and conversation. The owners of this hotel were always around which made the experience feel so down to earth and authentic, their yellow labrador retriever also roams the ground. The free daily breakfast buffet was so good, the quality of food was 5 star. We will be back!

We loved our stay at Mulino a Vento! The resort is absolutely beautiful and all of the people who work there were wonderful. The staff that work there really made our stay perfect. Everyone is so helpful and welcoming. We are very thankful to everyone for looking after us with a special thanks to Stefano for his excellent service, wealth of knowledge and recommendations of food, drinks and wine. The hotel provided a range of very welcome activities such as olive oil tasting, wine tasting, Puglian biffet and tour of the olive mill. We are so glad we chose this location for our honeymoon.

This is a wonderful and affordable option near Otranto and many of the other major sites in Southern Puglia. The pool is beautiful, the hotel is very clean and the rooms were very comfortable. Our only challenge was WiFi which did not reach our room #7. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a well priced, comfortable hotel. Also, the people who work here are incredibly friendly and helpful!

In generale mi è piaciuto tutto, ma soprattutto lo staff impeccabile che ha fatto la differenza oltre all struttura molto curata e pulita. Unico piccolo difetto i piatti a cena non erano sempre all’altezza.

Had a superb stay at Mulino a Vento. The staff were friendly welcoming and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend hiring a car as there is a lot to see and you are not very near public transport. The food in the hotel was first class, we ate there a couple of times during our stay and we also went to Otranto to eat in the local restaurants. The swimming pool was fantastic, large size with comfortable sun beds and parasols. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent hotel

Hotel is spotless. This was low season so I did not get to use pool but area looks very welcoming. Nice location to stay and relax and visit nearby towns. You could stay here and many more sights are within an hour. Breakfast was delicious and offered all that I wanted. Most important of all, the staff went above and beyond to help me and direct me to services, sightseeing and restaurants. Definitely recommend.

Great base to explore from and relax in.

We had a memorable holiday in Beautiful Salento.
Warm friendly people, at the Hotel and most of the places we went to, and lots of lovely and interesting places to visit close at hand.
Otranto is about 10 mins drive from the Hotel and it's a really atmospheric little Town that you don't tire of. Must see places in the area are definitely Lecce and Gallipoli, but lots of other places to see also.
On the whole eating and drinking out is fabulous value compared to the UK, and relaxing, next to the nicely maintaned Pool and Gardens at Mulino was very easy to do.

Estrema cortesia del personale e grande attenzione ai dettagli e ai clienti, grazie anche alla presenza della proprietà, sempre presente in struttura e disponibile a relazionarsi con gli ospiti. Ristorazione semplicemente eccezionale, dalla colazione alla cena, che valorizza le eccellenze locali e i prodotti coltivati nella tenuta. Ottima anche la possibilità con la mezza pensione di poter scegliere i piatti preferiti dalla carta. Eccellenti anche la stanza e la zona piscina, per un assoluto relax. Davvero una bellissima realtà, da consigliare.

Rapport qualité prix décevant

Les parties communes sont belles (grande piscine, jardins) dans un décor reposant. Nous avons en revanche été très déçus par la chambre que nous avons trouvée spartiate et sans décoration (douche minuscule, produits d'hygiène manquants, absence de café, une seule mini bouteille d'eau offerte pour un séjour de 5 nuits, etc.). On nous a indiqué que les chambres classiques devaient être rénovées mais la prestation actuelle ne vaut en aucun cas le prix payé. Cet hôtel ne mérite pas ses 4 étoiles.

A estrutura geral do hotel é boa, quartos poderiam ser melhores, o problema mesmo foi o atendimento, não deram a garrafa de espumante de cortesia depois queriam nos cobrar por ela, no primeiro dia de café da manhã nós ofereceram suco natural aceitamos e pedimos nos demais, veio a conta e o suco era extra sem nunca terem mencionado nada!

+ bra poolområde. OK rum med bra AC och trevlig personal
- stort minus att de är snåla och aktivt försöker ta pengar från sina gäster. Lunchen är jättedyr och väldigt dålig. Middag är god men dyr och för små portioner. Utöver det så får man inget vatten, man får inte byta poolhanddukar gratis, de tar betalt om man vill cykla in till stan och äta och de har lagt gymmet utomhus för att spara pengar etc

Första rummet var under all kritik och inte alls i enlighet med bilderna vi såg på hemsidan när vi bokade. Frukosten var inte bra. Enda stället under våra nästan 2 veckor i Italien där de inte serverade bra kaffe…

Däremot var personalen mycket hjälpsam och trevlig och tog min feedback på högsta allvar. 5 stjärnor där.

Mooi centraal gelegen resort

Het is een heel mooi resort met alle gemakken voorzien. De kamers zijn soort van vakantie huisjes en zijn zeer ruim en netjes.
Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam.
We hebben zelfs nog een paar nachten bijgeboekt, omdat we het er zo naar ons zin hadden.

Le charme des Pouilles dans un bel établissement

Accueil très chaleureux par le personnel de la réception qui nous présente le resort et les services proposés. Chambre confortable et spacieuse offrant un patio agréable qui pourrait gagner un peu plus en privauté. Buffet de petit déjeuner de très bonne qualité avec un choix varié. Offre de restauration (wine bar et restaurant) de bonne qualité mettant en valeur les produits du terroirs. Personnel attentionné et très sympathique s'enquerant régulièrement de notre satisfaction, des points d'amélioration et bon conseil pour découvrir et visiter la région. EL'hotel propose quelques animations (dégustation de vin et d'huile d'olive, buffet de spécialités, musique et danses locales, visite du moulin, ...) de qualité et peu invasives. Piscine grande et très agréable par les fortes chaleurs.

Een tweede keer in Puglia

Ik verbleef een tweede keer bij dit resort en werd niet teleurgesteld.

De sfeer is zo fijn en het resort is prachtig, met name het zwembad. Perfect om een dagje te zonnen onder het genot van een wijntje van de bar.

De locatie is geschikt om een groot deel van het mooie Puglia te bezoeken, ik zou wel aanraden een auto te huren.

Het restaurant is gezellig en sfeervol, de bediening super vriendelijk en spreekt goed engels. Het eten was heerlijk.

Iedereen is attent en vriendelijk en de familie geeft je net dat beetje extra wat het tot een topverblijf maakt.

Ik kom zeker terug!

Breve week end lontano dalla città

Struttura molto bella, rilassante, grande, pulita. Breve soggiorno lontano dalla città e dallo stress, una bella piscina grande, pulita e fresca. Verde curato e camere spaziose. Unica pecca muri di confine con altre stanze tanto sottili da sentire molto bene le altre persone presenti. Ottima colazione ricca e variegata e di qualità. Ristorante annesso di buona qualità anche se un tantino caro. Per il resto il posto è molto bello a pochi passi dal mare e a pochi km da Otranto e facilmente raggiungibile da Lecce.

Het is een prachtig resort, met een relaxte sfeer. Het zwembad is fantastisch en het eten van goede kwaliteit. De kamers zijn ruim en hebben een ruim eigen terras.
Iedereen is zeer vriendelijk en vooral bij de receptie wordt perfect engels gesproken. Ik verbleef slechts 2 nachten, maar had graag langer gebleven.
Ik zou afraden hier zonder auto naar toe te gaan.

Séjour enchanteur dans un superbe cadre

L'hôtel est superbe et très calme. La piscine est spacieuse et bien équipée, avec un nettoyage systématique des transats entre les utilisateurs. Les chambres sont confortables, le lit était grand, un petit réfrigérateur était à disposition. Le personnel était très cordial et le petit déjeuner à volonté était très varié (salé, sucré, fruits...). Seul petit bémol: le wifi était un peu lent - mais nous avions une chambre éloignée. Nous sommes allés à pieds à Porto Badisco, superbe plage à 50 min de marche par les chemins. Nous sommes enchantés de ce séjour !

Si mangia benissimo al Mulino complimenti al cuoco !! Le iniziative “la cena salentina” la “pizzica” la degustazione degli olii, lo chef che ti prepara dei piatti che puoi replicare, sono delle vere perle. Daniela sempre prodiga di consigli turistici e no .. Uggiano non é saint Tropez certo, ma personalmente sono un “esploratore” il mio

C'est bien la première fois que je n'ai rien à reprocher à un hôtel.
Tout était parfait ! Les chambres sont spacieuses et les équipements irréprochables. Le site de l’hôtel est très agréable et tout est parfaitement entretenu,espaces vert, plantes et végétation. La piscine est magnifique, d'une propreté exemplaire et inutile de se battre pour obtenir un transat, les équipements sont très largement dimensionnés. Le petit déjeuner est superbe, le restaurant est excellent avec des prix extrêmement raisonnables. En ce qui concerne le personnel de l’hôtel, là, c'est à coup sur une note de 20 sur 20, aucune défaillance quelque que soit le niveau de responsabilité, chacun fait son job et le fait parfaitement bien.

Sehr gepflegte Anlage und zuvorkommendes Personal

Zum Abschluss unserer Apulien Reise haben wir uns für die für das Ressort Mulino a Vento im beschaulichen Uggento entschieden, welche sich 10 Minuten von Otranto befindet. Wir wurden von Valeria sehr herzlich empfangen. Für die 5 Nächte hatten wir ein Standard Zimmer gebucht. Da die Anlage zur Zeit nicht ausgebucht war, erhielten wir ohne ein Aufpreis ein grösseres Zimmer angreboten, war wir sehr schätzten. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, blitz sauber, mit grossem Badezimmer und grosser Terrasse ausgestattet. Das Personal und die Gastgeberfamilien waren ausserordentlich bemüht, unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie zu gestlten. Das Morgenbuffet war sehr reichhaltig und ausserordentlich lecker. Wir fühlten uns in den 5 Tagen sehr wohl und würden jederzeit wieder im Mulino a Vento buchen. An dieser Stelle ein herzliches Dankeschön an das ganze Team und die Gastgeberfamilie.
