We had a lovely stay in this hotel. The room was super clean, with amazing facilities and balcony. Only a 15 to 20 min walk into the old town. The pool area was great, and we also made use of the spa which was very relaxing.

My first impressions were that this is a well- appointed and sophisticated resort. The design is beautiful, but be aware that the entire resort is terraced off into multiple levels, so there is lots of stairs. However, there are some strategically located elevators for those that have trouble navigating flights of stairs.

My stay was during the first weekend of October 2024 and little did I know, that this is already considered the “off-season“. While that means more affordable lodging rates, it also means a muted vibe and a reduced level of services I’d expect in a 4-star resort.

Moreover, the resort is situated outside of town and a visit to the seafront, restaurants , and shops meant a 15 to 20 minute walk. While the resort does have a shuttle van, it was not in operation to transport guests to/from the seafront or the train station (I walked a mile/1.6 km with luggage from the station on check-in day). Uber was not available and no local buses were running in October.

The on-site restaurant was mediocre, with the exception of the breakfast which was great! There are 2 tiny bars, but a full-service lounge is needed.

But despite these criticisms for the resort as a whole, I must say that ALL of the staff I interacted with during my stay was friendly, professional and accommodating. They exhibited pride in what they did for guests.

Overall, I would still recommend a stay here. But be sure to ask a lot of questions about seasonal services before you book or visit.

Nice modern property, fairly large hotel so does lack the intimacy of a smaller hotel. Dinners were quite good and the waitress in the dining area was wonderful. The old bartender in the lobby is a grump. Good spot to use for touring the area. South on the coast road was amazing. 15-minute walk to town, so handy to have a car or taxi.

This is beautiful hotel, very nice grounds, lovely swimming pool and amenities. It's removed from the hustle & bustle, but still quite walkable to the Centro.
Overall, a great option to explore the area.

Not a 4-star hotel!

Unfortunately the hotel did not meet our expectations for a 4-star hotel. The room was noisy (you could clearly hear the other rooms’ shower / toilet flushes); it was located extremely far from the main building (restaurant / pool). There was no courtesy bottle of water for free and many other little adjustments were needed to meet the standard of a proper 4 star hotel. The breakfast was also poor (water & juice served in plastic glasses; not much variety; fresh fruits of poor quality). Overall very poor value for money!!

Beaut hotel very close to otranto town

On arrival to the hotel from brindisi we were amazed by the beautiful hotel grounds fast check in although our room wasn't ready until 4pm - this was ok we left our luggage at reception changed into less clothing and head for otranto town! On the walk to otranto you pass through what's called the old town and it's beautiful! There is a supermarket here too. The hotel itself was gorgeous very open and clean. I'm not going to lie I actually had quite low expectations after reading previous reviews and didn't expect it to be as beautiful as it was. We eventually checked into our room and we were placed at the back with another building overlooking our room which at first wasn't great but turned out to be fine for us as we were out all the time anyway- it was quiet as hell and close to a short cut to the town so we actually didn't mind this at all. Room didn't have an iron. Breakfast was absolutely fine. I'm a lover of a cooked breakfast However we stuck to the continental, could keep going up, wonderful coffee and patisserie. Staff here are amazing and couldnt help more! They arranged taxis for us we visited La cutura botanical gardens and torre del'orso beach (fares were expensive though being 30 euro each way) unfortunately the excursions were in Italian so found out too late that there was an excursion to Alberlobello. We managed to do the salento caves though. (Not through hotel) I loved my stay here and WILL be returning !!!! could say so much more wonderful things. x

Decent hotel not far from Otranto old town

The positives: clean & modern. Good pool area with plenty of sun loungers & parasols. Air conditioned rooms, with fridge & balcony. Short walking distance from the lovely Otranto old town. Friendly & helpful staff on reception during check-in.

The negatives: rooms are laid out like a maze with many internal and external staircases joining the rooms & facilities. It took about 5 mins (up and downstairs) to get to reception / the pool / the restaurant / parking. Not an ideal hotel if you are unfit or struggle with stairs! No wifi in the bedrooms - we had to go to reception to get wifi connection. Poor breakfast buffet choice - expected better quality from a four star hotel of this size.

Overall a very pleasant stay

Nice hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Fantastic facilities, pool was very clean, great spa. Sadly pool bar was shut throughout our stay however it was relatively off season.
Breakfast generous and a lot of choice. Would most definitely recommend and return to stay in the hotel.

The design of the hotel seemed to be trying to hard to be fashionable and unique at the expense of being functional. The showers were extremely small. The hallways echo and the buzzer for the key card was so loud you could hear people coming and going. It was also very hot and stuffy. If you stay in the annex building it is a legitimate 5 plus minute walk through a maze of stairs and hallways to the reception, restaurant, spa, pool etc. Overall, this hotel is nice because of its newer construction so things are in good condition, but it is definitely not worth the money and I don't expect it will hold its value as it ages. The bedding could use an upgrade soon. The breakfast was decent, but nothing special for a spa/resort/4 star hotel.

Sol, bading og opplevelser

Nydelig hotell med gåavstand til gamlebyen, fantastisk frokost og hyggelig personale. Litt langt fra Bari, vi leide bil og brukte ca 3 timer til hotellet. Med leiebil hadde vi et fint utgangspunkt for dagsturer til Gallipolli, Lecce og Roca Vecchia.

Great place for a relaxing vacation. On walking distance from Otranto. The hotel is offering a great looking pool with enough beds and umbrellas poolside. Rooms are very clean with enough space. Very helpful staff.
If there is a small downside to be mentioned, it is in the way the hotel has been build with different levels and stairs (elevators available).

Sterile Atmosphäre, schlechtes Raumklima (Beton), keine Bar am Abend, uninteressiertes Personal. Der Weg in den Ort führt steil den Berg hinab und im Ort dann wieder auf eine Burg hinauf. Die über Expedia vermarteten Zimmer sind ohne Kategorie angeboten als sogenannte „Promo-Rooms“. Vor Ort stellen sie sich als Basis-Zimmer heraus: sehr klein, dunkel, einfach ausgestattet und abgelegen. Es waren diverse Ebenen unter Benutzung von fünf (!) Aufzügen zu überwinden. Ein Upgrade auf die sogenannten Superior-Zimmer kostete 20 Euro pro Person und Nacht und nivellierte den scheinbaren Kostenvorteil des Angebots. Die Art und Weise, wie die Upgrades vermarktet wurden, konnten wir bei zahlreichen Anreisenden beobachten. Achten Sie darauf, welche Zimmerkategorie sie buchen. Nicht weniger als „Superior“ buchen.

Hotel ubicato a 10' a piedi dal centro di Otranto. Struttura ben organizzata, divisa in più edifici. Stanze ben arredate, un piccolo fastidio i bagni, non ben insonorizzate con la stanza confinante.
Ottima igienizzione della stanza.
Piscina posta in un parte dell'hotel, dove la privacy fa da padrone.
Spa incantevole, con tutti i confort dovuti.
Ristorante degli ulivi, collocato vicino la piscina, personale disponibile e professionali, deliziandolci con menù locali e ben impiantati.
Colazione abbondante, servito dagli stessi operatori di sala.
Reception, gentilissimi e disponibili a qualsiasi richiesta di loro competenza.
Siamo stati bene e ci siamo rilassati.

Erika e Federica, come tutto lo staff della reception, sono state gentilissime ed efficienti. Migliorabile il buffet della prima colazione. Consiglio: affettati di migliore qualità, pane senza glutine, spremute naturali.

Buona accoglienza al check-in e perdonale alla reception molto gentile e disponibile
Da un 4 stelle peró ci si aspetta di più
Al momento della consegna della chiave non si può aspettare più di 15 minuti un addetto che arrivi per accompagnarti in camera considerando che poi alla fine nn ti ha nemmeno accompagnato perché eravamo più di 6 persone alle quali dover consegnare la camera e a metà strada ti liquida semplicemente dandoti indicazioni approssimative…quindi se il risultato doveva essere questo era meglio che sin dall’inizio andavo da sola senza attendere
Per quanto riguardo la colazione ripeto da un 4 stelle di certo nn ci si aspetta questo servizio : il buffet ricco e di qualità ma a mio avviso con poco personale nn si può pensare di servire con solo due persone ma ancora peggio il servizio al tavolo per i prodotti di caffetteria…solo due camerieri a prendere gli ordini al tavolo (troppi pochi per poter coprire una sala piena di ospiti) calcolando che poi solo per poter ordinare un caffè attesa di 20 minuti….e privando a chiedere siamo venuti malamente liquidati con un “signora passo io al tavolo”….senza organizzazione infatti sono stati serviti 2 tavoli che si erano seduti dopo di noi …a questo ennesimo disservizio lo abbiamo fatto notare al cameriere che non ha avuto nemmeno la cortesia di scusarsi …fatto sta che per poter bere un caffè espresso tempo di attesa 30 minuti …
Peccato perché si potrebbe fare molto meglio e di sicuro da un 4 stelle ci si aspetta di+

Super relax!

Abbiamo soggiornato 4 GG in questo bellissimo resort ad Otranto, e devo dire che a primo impatto mi ha lasciato senza parole perché veramente bello.
Spazi molto grandi, piscina e una spa bellissima ( purtroppo a pagamento, secondo me un po' elevato 18€ a.p per un'ora e mezza) unica pecca la distanza di certe camere per andare verso i punti principali( ristorante,piscina,reception ecc ...)
Comunque bellissima esperienza!
Personale molto professionale, pulizia ottima!
Spero di tornarci al più presto .

Hotel è a pochi minuti dal centro di Otranto.
Struttura bella e abbastanza nuova, organizzata su più fabbricati. La camera standard è un po' piccola, ma pulita. Bagno ok. Colazione sufficiente, ma non proprio \"continental breakfast\"; buone le torte. Distributore per il caffè (possibile anche richiedere caffe dal bar) e succhi di frutta. Personale cortese.

La struttura di per sè è bella ma troppo dispersiva: dalla nostra camera per raggiungere la sala ristorante o la reception o il parcheggio ci volevano 6-7 minuti a piedi e con parecchie scale!! La camera era piccola e con pochi spazi per sistemare le proprie cose. Bagno ok. Colazione non all'altezza sopratutto per un quattro stelle

Siamo stati per un solo giorno, solo pr visitare Otranto, forse un po troppo per tirare conclusioni affrettate, comunque la struttura nel contesto non è male, le camere sono poco insonorizzate, l'aria condizionata che si accende quando vuole anche se è su off....
il personale della reception è cordiale e gentile, i camerieri del ristorante nemmeno salutano ne in entrata ne tantomeno in uscita, potrebbe entrare chiunque e mangiare tranquillamente a colazione che non chiedono nemmeno il numero della camera.

Pannello elettrico rumoroso: spento durante ore notturne per eccessivo fastidio; aspiratore bagno non attivo o funzionante; selettore doccia non funzionante; assente aerazione con finestre chiuse per disattivazione centralizzata dell'impianto di climatizzazione: richiesta non esaudita ed informazioni su modalità accensione/spegnimento discordanti dalla reception e non segnalate in camera; cena di qualità insufficiente: primo piatto caldo servito freddo con pasta scotta, poi sostituito con secondo primo. Analogamente per il secondo piatto. Stanze senza luci notturne di cortesia. Ottimo parcheggio ed area esterna con verde curato e sentiero interno. Percorso stanza-reception-ristorante non agevole: critico durante pioggia per inadeguate pensiline di protezione e rischio scivolamento per mancanza fasce antiscivolo su pavimentazione e gradini. Assenza di privacy esterna con edificio posto di fronte la stanza per mancanza di infissi esterni/vetri opachi/tende esterno. Assenza di privacy interna (bagno) a causa di porta in vetro trasparente, invece che traslucida.

Non mi era stato comunicato che avrei avuto una stanza per disabili. Nulla contro le persone disabili ovviamente, ma per me non è stata comoda e penso che avrebbero dovuto specificarlo. Il personale non è molto cortese e la Spa era troppo piena...

Hotel desagradável em vários aspectos.

De início péssima a localização do quarto. Fomos colocados em um quarto em um anexo do hotel que fica muitooo distante de tudo. Para chegar ao hall da recepção precisamos fazer uso de quatro elevadores lerdos e barulhentos. Em razão de nossa idade pedimos a troca do quarto, mas ninguém respondeu a esse pedido. Desde o dia que chegamos não tivemos Wi-Fi no quarto, como foi prometido na reserva. Os funcionários da recepção disseram que o Wi-Fi do hotel estava com problemas e que havia apenas na recepção. Péssimo hotel.

L hotel è a pochi minuti di auto dal centro di Otranto e prospiciente al viadotto che collega il Salento. La struttura è abbastanza nuova ma non ben organizzata. In primo luogo le camere non hanno il Wi-Fi in camera , cosa inconcepibile per una struttura di 4 stelle nel 2018. Per ottenere la connessione wireless, la struttura mette a disposizione, dietro cauzione di 20€ , dei router che in ogni caso non garantisce un collegamento stabile , tanto è vero che durante il soggiorno il Wi-Fi ha funzionato, su sei notti, solo una.
La colazione non è degna nemmeno di un b&b da 4soldi, per questi motovi:
1) i succhi di frutta non erano naturali , ma vi era il distributore con le polverine, neanche da mensa aziendale.
2) non vi era traccia di continental beakfast, anche se L’hotel vantava di offrirla. Vi erano solo delle uova strapazzate buttate su una teglia , da cui fuoriusciva ancora L’albume, segno evidente che non erano neanche cotte bene.
L’unica cosa al limite della decenza erano i cornetti, ma a quel punto avrei preferito farla al bar, ed avrei anche risparmiato sul soggiorno!
Non vi era traccia di cuochi che preparavano omelette o uova al momento, circostanza tipica è sempre presente nei 4 stelle di caratura internazionale. Da qui si evince L’assoluta provincialità della struttura.
Provincialità ulteriormente ribadita dalla circostanza che l’hotel non permetteva di cambiare il telo mare giornalmente ma solo dietro un ulteriore esborso di 2€ giornalieri, cosa inconcepib
