The property is nice. The pool, spa, snack bar are all very nice. The views are spectacular. The rooms are very dated. The furniture is all banged up. There is a refrigerator just sitting out in middle of the room. The floors in public areas were very dirty. The staff was not very bright. There was no water pressure in the sink. The restaurant food was terrible. The spa was outstanding and top notch. Highly recommend it. Cob webs were everywhere. Landscaping was beautiful. Flies were everywhere inside and out. Needs major updating. Looks like it is still in the 1990’s.

The property and view are beautiful. Lots to do! A couple of pretty big issues. We were given someone else's room to start then given the wrong room for our cards, then we were finally given the right room. A minor inconvenience.
But the main reason we chose this hotel is that the website said that after 10, the pools are 18+. We were excited to go into the pool after 10. When we went to the pool, it was closed. When we asked staff they said it always closes at 10. We showed them their website where it said it. They left to talk to someone, when they came back the website had changed. If we had known that was the case, we would have just gone to holiday Inn, rather than pay what we did for our room.
Its literally the only reason we chose this hotel. So, we just slept in a really expensive bed, is how we feel.

Rented the Presidential Suite since it was claimed as the best room in Branson. No its not. I've stayed at much nicer places for half the $$. Yes, in Branson.
I understand they were going for a Tuscan romantic vibe. The furniture was old, the bed looked like a haystack stuffed in a sack. The saving grace was the ornate bathroom, which was very luxurious. The multi head shower did not work. The view from the tenth floor looking over table rock lake was very nice.
There was not a full kitchenette with supplies. The room was dusty, the furniture scratched. Not worth the price paid. The last condo type room I stayed in at Branson had fireplaces, in both the living room and the bedroom. Jetted tub, king size pillow top mattress, immaculately clean, fully stocked with kitchen utensils. Including glassware wine glasses plates silverware.
Pots and pans et cetera.. i forget the name of the place I stayed but it was over by the fall creek area. Unless their price comes down to $250 or less, and i'm thinking, like Orlando FL prices, I can get the same type of room for 150 and less. Do not listen to the hype. You can do much better elsewhere.
The hotel was fairly empty however they put us in a room right next to some very noisy neighbors who were apparently upset the electric went out during our stay. Why they could not have spaced us out I do not understand.

Room was low on shampoo, conditioner, soap in the shower. But I never mentioned this, so its really not a problem. The power kept going off and on and this made things a bit unsettled to use the elevator. We had a dog, so I had to use the stairs a lot. Also the AC in our room never really was sufficient enough to cool the room.

All the amenities were amazing as it can be while on vacation. The staff was amazing, the vibe was great! The only issue i had was the bathtub. It had dirt build up, could use a really good clean up! That was disappointing given the type of hotel it is.
The restaurant in the hotel was great and had delicious meals. Pete's Coffee is bomb along with their pastries

We had an issue at check-in because they showed us as cancelled. So we had to rebook the room through Hotels.com. But they gave us an upgrade to a suite which was nice. The rooms are dark and the furniture dated but overall comfortable. They seemed short staffed in the restaurant and lounge as it was difficult to get service. Also, they charge for parking and a resort fee which seemed ridiculous. It’d be better to just include in the room amount instead of a separate charge. But we did enjoy the location and the views.

We loved this resort. It offered a breathtaking view of Table Rock Lake, from our room's balcony, to the spacious outdoor patio and pool areas. We even had a lovely sunset view from the dining room. The staff was great, providing us with an upgraded room! It's just a 10 minute drive to the hustle and bustle of Branson, but offers a serene and quiet atmosphere. We would highly recommend a stay here and can't wait to come back ourselves!

Didnt end up staying. The first issue we had was nobody explained how parking worked when we checked in. We had to ask questions after parking (which is when we saw the sign that you had to pay to park each day). This property is nowhere near any other properties so having to pay a daily rate to park on top of room rates was crazy. Once we got to our room we noticed a lot of outside noise like the window was open. We walked over to the window and the window frame was rotted. There was big gap where it rotted amd you could see the outside. They had tried to put black tap to cover it up and there was rusted nails. Because of the hole there was dirt covering the inside of window and surrounding areas. When i showed the front desk the pics of window she asked me to text her the pics when she could have easily went up to the room to inspect and take her own pics. Also the screen on the lower window wasnt even secured and in place. It was just leaning up against the window.

1st... the AC in our room was broke, the fan made a horrible noise. I contacted the front desk and they only said well let us know if it becomes a problem. We booked a room for 5 guests, it had one king bed and one pull out sofa. There was zero bedding for the sofa bed. The balcony was dirty and not kept up at all. The pool was closed saturday morning for cleaning. WHY??? would a hotel with guests with kids clean their pool on a Saturday Morning? There were several guests trying to take their kids and it was closed for hours.

It is a beautiful resort and we overall enjoyed it but anyone planning on staying there needs to be aware that there is a resort fee and on top of that a parking fee which for Branson was very unexpected since no other place charges Parking fees that I’m aware of, not even the theme park. It is a beautiful resort, but is very difficult to get information on the amenities. If you ask about information, they just tell you to look on the website which also is very ambiguous and not helpful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, but only after having to talk to various multiple staff/management. We actually received more information from other customers, who had same concerns, so they told us about things we didn’t know about, and we ended up telling them about things they didn’t know about.
I don’t know that we would ever stay there again since it is higher cost than many others in the area, especially since they charge a ridiculous parking fee on top of the resort fee.

People in the frot desk no friendly at all... The Star only is for the ladies on the Spa they very sweet! and steam room was broken,

I came here as a kid, and it was the best hotel I’ve ever been to, so I waited over a decade to come back with my own family, but was disappointed with our experience.

They now charge for parking at the hotel which was not mentioned before our stay, not a huge deal, but we are a one income household, and it wasn’t in our budget for this trip. Check-in was easy and staff was friendly.

We get into our room and are met with a very bad odor. The bathroom looked like housekeeping forgot to set it up for the next guest. We did not have a bar of soap, no face towels or body wash so I had to go back down to the desk to ask for those things. The toilet bowl was a little dirty, and there was food on the floor.

Thankfully, one of the employees had texted me asking how the stay was going so far and I let them know and they quickly upgraded our room for us, which I am so thankful for.

Our new room smelled much better, we had a beautiful view with a balcony, and our bathroom was fully stocked. We spent the rest of the night enjoying the patio and then went to bed because we were exhausted.
When we woke up the next morning, I noticed our blankets and sheets were dirty and covered in dark stuff. That touched my toddler’s face and I don’t know what it was. I am pretty grossed out.

For the price we paid for the stay, drinks and food vs the amount of disappointment we experienced, I don’t think I will be back, unfortunately.

I’ve stayed at this property over 20 times in the last 20 years, and it has never been updated. Property is showing its age, and now they want to charge for parking. Very disappointed that this property hasn’t kept up with the times and terms of the decor, amenities, and overall freshness. This property has the potential of being one of the nicest places to stay in a community that is predominantly rundown. They need to go over the top in terms of taking care of their customer if they are going to continue charging the rates they charge, instead of nickel and dime’ing everything they can just to charge the customer

The room was dusted, and floors hadn't been vacuum ever. Had a dirty odor. Iron not working. Notified staff 3 times, didn’t get one. We had to wear wrinkled clothes the whole time there. Bathroom mirror you could write your name one it from glass had so much scum on it. I will neved spend 871.00 to stay in a place for 3 nights and it was a a dirty MESSY! I wish I could get my money back. I have stayed here 3 times over the last 5 or 6 yrs and it was the best. Never again would I stay here nor recommend anyone to this place. 😕

It was stated that check-in is at 4:00pm. We arrived at 6:00pm and were told our room was not ready and to check back in an hour. We came back at 7:30pm and were able to check in but when we entered our room it appeared that it had never been cleaned from the previous occupants. We hauled our luggage back down from the 8th floor, were given a new room but then were presented with what appeared to be blood droplets all over the comforter once we pulled it back. (I took multiple pictures). Just an overall bad experience for a place you expect to be great. Very disappointed.

Beautiful old hotel, but could use some refreshing; not that anything was tattered looking, but definitely dated. Staff was wonderful, especially Ben. Slightly disappointed when housekeeping overlooked our room one day, after a few different requests. Also disappointed that the bar and restaurant hours were very limited at this time of the year. We arrived Friday night. Saturday morning breakfast buffet was very simple, not even as good as a Holiday Inn Express and was 21.95 per person. There was a big dance conference at the hotel this weekend so even though it is off-season the hotel was very full. The bar that evening had no wait staff, just a bartender and a bar back. The bar was packed. On Sunday housekeeping didn’t clean our room. After 2 inquiries with the front desk we ended up coming down to get toilet paper. The entire experience was terrible. They know the hotel is full so how can they not staff appropriately.

Nice big room since we needed a pullout couch also. LOVED the 2nd sink. That was such an amazing feature. So often when we travel we wish the sink was at least outside the bathroom, but to have two was fantastic with multiple girls getting ready. Staff were all so friendly and so nice to have bellmen take load/unload luggage from car and into the room. We always love staying at the Chateau. Dance convention this time but we've enjoyed staying there just for fun also. The movie theatre is always a special treat. Love the west shop for salads and sandwiches for lunch, drinks, ice cream. Beautiful courtyard. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Pricing of the stay is not completely transparent per the Expedia listing. Check their official website for resort fees and parking rates, as parking was 80% more than expected during the stay. Other than that, the experience was great. The lobby was festive during the Christmas season, which was enjoyable. The staff was kind and completely accommodating. The room and amenities were as great as expected.

After being put in a back corner handicap-accessible room, we complained. (they said that's how we reserved it on Hotels.com. NOT) We ended up in a top-floor suite. Amazing! We have always loved this lobby as it has a full waterfall in the center of the hotel with the rooms all facing it! Plus, the Christmas decorations were beautiful!
However, we were highly disappointed that the library bar was closed. BOOHISS!

The resort was beautiful! We had dinner at the restaurant inside, and it was spectacular. Honestly very well priced what the room we stayed in and the amenities that were on site. Only reason I give it 4/5 stars is because the pool / hot tub was shut down for the entirety of our stay. Which is not in control of anyone, things happen, I understand that. I was just really looking forward to the hot tub. During the summer time, we will for sure be back!

The team did the best that they could to help us out, but the room was 84 degrees and the air conditioner didn’t work. They tried to help and switch us rooms, but didn’t realize it didn’t have a pull out sofa bed and it hadn’t been cleaned from the previous stay. We ended up having to switch hotels. We appreciated the staff in trying to help but it was a rough night for us as a family.

Facilities were beautiful! A.C. unit didn’t cool properly after arriving from shows late into the evening... front desk not available so we had to sleep with patio door open all night. No return call as message stated either. No body wash in room... went to desk to request some for the family and the help stated it would HAVE to be delivered by services... none ever came! Family almost emptied the shampoo due to using it as body wash! Silly to have to pay $15 to park when you just paid $300 a night for the room and another $30 for resort fees...( sleeping there and buying over-priced coffee and pastries for breakfast) Beautiful place but it was our Family's first and last stay.
