Sometimes you go cheap you reap, other times you go cheap, and you weep. $60 a night should offer a decent bed at least and although I did sleep well, it was certainly not because of the room or bed. So, unless you want a breakfast feast of cockroaches, an obligatory cold shower (despite constant complaints, it never got better), a room decorated by a blind man, and no table light because they could not find a bulb, then this is the place for you.
The one saving grace is that really cheap Indian cafes and restaurants surround the hotel. The residents offer you the opportunity to research southern India without actually going there, plus you can get a taxi anytime by just using the parking place scam across the road, where you can do a deal for an unemployed driver to take you anywhere at cut price.
Insured? I never got an answer.

It's more than a poor facility, however hotels.com charge more than walk in instead.This hotel doesn't even have basic needs like water, tea or kattle for water warm. Wash design badly, moreover its old enough. I will never recommend this and even hotels.com I paid 233 at hotels.com but I seen some walk in with 200.

Eh, I mean, there isn't too much good or bad to say about this hotel, it's super basic and worth its cheap price. My own experience was made worse by the fact that I didn't choose to pay online and since I checked in very late in the night (as I informed them right away of, never got a reply stating it'd be an issue), my room was given away to someone else. I slept on a couch at the reception and the next morning I was given the first room available, which was like half as large as what my booking said, and I was charged for the full price including the night I spent on the couch (for which someone else had already paid for...).
Jokes on you, I'm not coming back. Friendly staff though. Just be warned: paying online will make your life simpler, as they can't just randomly give away your room to someone else if you already paid for it.

Front desk let me check in early in the summer heat, jet legged. which was greatly appreciated. Otherwise, as far as star ratings, it is accurately rated. Maybe more suited for developing nation travelers who are doing business in Diera area. Diera area may not be for everyone.

The room was dirty. They did not clean it. The room stank. The toilet was so dirty. When I told them it was dirty they started cleaning it with cloths. Not properly disinfecting the room and toilet. Furthermore the AC was not working do they moved me to another room which was worse. The bedsheets were disgusting. And the staff did not know what to do at all. Very unpleasant place. Hell on earth. Stay away from this hotel. I do not recommend it at all.

It was not so comfy stay in west hotel. room is dirty under the bed there's a lot of garbage. i asked for a non smoking room and yet when i enter the room it smells like someone just finished cigarette . The 3nights i stayed there time to time i smell someone is smoking next to my room. When i phoned the receptionist (guy) he was rude when i asked him about the wifi. Yes it was free wifi but only one device is allowed to connect.

I had problems with guys at reception. First, they took from me cash payment even after I have paid with credit card. Later I took this money back.
When I was leaving they charged me extra 7 AED for each day (this is tourist tax), but I already paid this extra price at check in, but that guy didn't register this payment on computer.
