The hotel pictures on Expedia are very very outdated and is deceiving. This is a very old hotel and it really shows. When we got there we found out that they allow smoking in the balcony and you can smell the smoke in the room. We informed the staff about the smell but they said they couldn’t do anything about. We politely asked them if we could cancel our reservation and they said they would talk to the manager. They offered us a different room for the night but it was only slightly better. The next day we asked again if they had discussed with the manager and they said they could not help us. We ended up moving to another hotel and lost one night of our payment. The hotel was full of Russian tourists at the time, if that makes a difference to anyone. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone. There are way more better hotels and for less.

This turned out to be a very nice hotel. Breakfast was good, the staff very helpful and friendly, rooms were cleaned daily, transportation was easily available, and the proximity to several food/night markets was excellent. The upgrades taking place on the beachfront made walking difficult in some areas, but that did not take away from the experience.

The hotel and staff are great. Staff are so friendly. Hotel is in a great location right across from Jomtein Beach.
The room was clean with a beautiful view. Daily housekeeping. Nice breakfast buffet.
I loved everything about this hotel with one exception....the shower water would go all over the bathroom floor. I had to put a towel to soak up the water each time. A simple glass slider or even just a rim along the floor to stop the water.
But again....this is my only exception.... everything else about this hotel was superb. The staff, view and location....10/10🙏

I’ve had some issues with this hotel in the past but decided to give them another chance as the view and the location are fantastic.
On arrival I was not happy with this room so I went to reception and I met a wonderful lady who is the reception manager and her name is Gift.
Not only did she allay all of my concerns but she also made it her personal attention to look after me which was so very satisfying.
I was moved to a suite which was very generous.
I could not be happier with the service this time around and in particular attention from Gift.
I would have no hesitation returning and starting again.
My room was very grand an extremely palatial living up to its name.
I could not be happier

The staff for horrendous on entry another hotel that lives by its own Policy and will probably die that way.
Just because you have a 2 PM check-in doesn’t mean you should make people wait if the rooms are ready.
Someone needs to teach these people about customer service.
Not only Check In but check out. I still love the hotels, location and the sunset rooms for the balconies facing forward I would not stay in the back in the so called chalet, which are just rooms at the back.
The girls at the front desk are absolutely useless and all they do is chatter amongst each other and laugh and carry on while you’re busy waiting to get a room check and pay your deposit, sign your forms, etc.
They have no customer awareness or care.
One girl in particular Was absolutely clueless kept eating her food

Only thing i didn't like was the frosted glass sliding doors dividing the sleeping area and the bathroom. However, the stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The pool areas are really good, nice and clean.

Frukosten var dålig. Rummen i dåligt skick. För få stolar runt poolerna. Fick plats först på eftermiddagen. Endast en bar var öppen på en av poolerna. Värdefacken fanns endast i receptionen och var endast åtkomliga mellan 8-20. Smutsig strand med fimpar och kapsyler. Riktig turistfälla i detta område Jomtien. Fick åka långt för att hitta en bra restaurang.

A lovely hotel right on the beach front. Our room had superb views oh the ocean . They wouldn’t let us check in although it was well gone 1.00 check in is at 2.00. My only issue was 8.30 in the morning they were just dragging tables and chairs across the floor making a horrendous noise. Would stay again as I’m sure it was a ‘1 off’ due to the new year party.

My overall stay was good but i booked what was described as ‘deluxe triple chalet’. So i was expecting a stand alone chalet(bungalow). But it was just a hotel room in a building with approx 50 other rooms. They call the bungalows(chalet) something else

Check In staff were Rude cold and Clinical, the domestic staff were fabulous and couldn’t help more than they did.
For some reason this Hotel wants you to pay everything in cash I’m not sure what that’s all about.
The rooms are tired and dated but if you pay for the extra balcony ocean view it’s fantastic.
The light switches and power switches in your bed head or a joke because without knowing it you keep turning on the lights and unplugging switch in your sleep

The Grand Jomtien Palace must have been a real palace in her hey day. The overall condition of the common areas was good but my room could have used a refresh, new door hardware, coat of paint and a general make over. However that is small potatoes as the room was large and housekeeping was on point.

The hotel is an older property and everything in the room is worn. The restroom faucet was leaking and constantly dripping water. The shower head was broken and would leak water all over the bathroom floor during the shower. The soap dispenser did not work properly. Overall a poor experience. Positives include handicap access, great location near night markets.

given a room with 2 twin beds pushed together to make a queen sized bed after falling in crack I requested a full size bed. I had to move to another room for this. When arrived in new room a/c did not work. It took 1-1/2 days to repair. the buffet had same food every day for 3 weeks. wow. I think concrete floor softer than bed, my body ached at night because it was harder than any bed I have ever slept in.

I would say the overall stay for this trip was disappointing but bearable. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Although we were a little annoyed that there was a 1000 Baht holding fee when we checked but we did get that back with no fuss. The area around the hotel was overall great. Right next to a 7/11 and night market making food shopping super easy. The downside to this hotel would be cleanliness… there were ants in the room walking about. The sheets didn’t get changed everyday as everyday, just bed making. My friend had red spots all over his legs and arms from sleeping in the bed but was alright for me so we weren’t sure if it were bed bugs or just some allergies. Food in the hotel was the most overpriced thing I’ve ever seen. Pretty sure it was like 200 baht for some Tom yum and that’s for sure a no for me. The TV was super static and unwatchable. Lastly, we didn’t even bother going into the pool as it looked like swamp water. Leaves in the pool, odd yellow tiles, just wasn’t clean. 2/5 stars at a push. I wasn’t expecting much anyway but damn it was disappointing. Free Wi-Fi and amazing air con though.

Room was very noisy from other guests being loud and slamming doors at all hours, even knocking on our door. Having stayed there many times this visit was below standard and won't be going back.

It was a “not too bad” stays. I booked the chalet but chalet was far away from main building and it’s good it’s new but also that’s no lift in this building. You can call them to help for the luggage during check in n out also buggy service to transfer you to the main building. But most of the time my boy friend and I choose to walk because it was just too much trouble.

This hotel was probably great 20 years ago. Compared to today's standards, it's very much outdated:
- No safety box in the hotel room, you need to go downstairs, register for a box, and ask for staff to come with you whenever you need to pick/drop something.
- A very nice location with a room in front of the sea, but a very noisy street... and no proper noise insulation in the bedroom from the outside noise).
- A disappointing breakfast. Cheap food quality, strawberry and pineapple jam probably do not have any natural fruits in it...
- A pretty decent junior suite, but a tiny little bathroom with minimum amenities.
- The overall hotel needs a refresh, you can tell that painting was done long time ago. Everything worked properly, was clean, but old.
