My stay at this hotel was absolutely incredible from beginning to end. What truly made the experience unforgettable was the exceptional hospitality of Carola and Federico. From the moment I arrived, they welcomed me with genuine warmth, kindness, and professionalism that immediately made me feel at home.

Carola was always attentive, caring, and happy to help with anything I needed, whether it was recommendations for local restaurants, places to visit, or simply making sure everything was perfect during my stay. Federico was equally amazing — friendly, professional, and always available with a smile and positive energy. Together, they create an atmosphere that is both relaxing and welcoming, something that is very rare to find.

The hotel itself is beautiful, spotless, comfortable, and clearly managed with passion and attention to detail. Every aspect of the stay exceeded my expectations, and it is obvious that Carola and Federico truly care about their guests and want everyone to have the best possible experience.

I recommend this hotel 1000% without any hesitation. If you are looking for a place where you will feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of, this is the perfect choice. Thank you again, Carola and Federico, for making my stay so memorable — I will definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay! The location is absolutely fantastic; right in the heart of everything, with bars, restaurants, and main attractions all within walking distance.
The staff were incredible, especially Carola. She went above and beyond for us: welcoming, kind, and so helpful. She even came all the way to the main gate to meet us, which made us feel instantly at home.
The boutique hotel itself is beautiful. The rooftop area is stunning, breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety, and everything about our stay exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!

As others have mentioned, the breakfasts were amazing. We were there for four days and each day the items available were different, all home made and delicious. One of our party is Celiac and something gluten free was made just for her each day. The roof top area was nice for relaxing, complete with a hot tub and bathroom.

Fabulous stay from start to finish. Carola's so helpful with everything from car parking (despite very late arrival after flight delay) to recommendations. Situated down alley in old town, but transfer from car park kindly arranged. Breakfast is amazing, an array daily of delicious home made fare. Rooftop terrace wonderful & we were lucky to have to ourselves most days. Definitely recommend.

The owner of the property is excellent- she made dinner reservations for us each night and gave great recommendations- the breakfast was unreal and the best meal we had because of the quality and assortment. Special treat was having Nunzio walk us through each dish and teach us where it came from locally! Absolutely delicious!

What a fantastic experience staying at Quinessenza. Carole and Nunzio were the perfect hosts, ably supported by Maria in the kitchen. each morning at breakfast was wonderful experience of beautiful Italian cuisine which you were taken through by the enthusiastic Nunzio. every request for assistance from Carole was met with a smile and only added to the overall experience. The hotel was centrally located to the old town and the carjacking arrangements were seamless in its execution

This was a magical stay, far exceeded our expectations.
Family run boutique hotel, with Carola on reception and the owner Nunzio at breakfast each day. Incredibly accommodating: breakfast was never the same 2 days in a row, so many cakes, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cured meats and cheeses, and you can request eggs, plus fresh coffees made to order. You can see the love and thought poured into making this such a comfortable stay. Also right in the heart of old town, everywhere is a 1-8 minute walk in town.
Would come back again, we miss Nunzio already!! Thank you for such a lovely stay

Absolutely recommend Quintessenza Domus for your next stay! Everything exceeded our expectations. This family owned place went above and beyond for my pregnant wife and I. We couldn’t be more grateful to of found such an accommodating place to stay. Carola helped with recommendations, transfers, beach umbrella/towels. Breakfast spread every morning was different and so delicious. This place is in the middle of everything so everything was perfect walking distance. Wonderful boutique hotel

A wonderful small boutique hotel right in the middle of the old town. The transfer from our car with parking organised by the hotel was seamless and efficient. The breakfast is absolutely amazing with food freshly baked by Maria. Each day had different food. A definite highlight of our stay. Beautiful views from the roof top terrace.

This is a small family run hotel. Only five rooms. Our room was tiny but had a great balcony. We also had the use of a roof terrace. It’s right in the middle of the old town.
Staff were great and the breakfast changed daily. Would highly recommend.

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at and we have travelled a lot! It is a small hotel and with that you get fantastic service. The breakfast was the most amazing hotel breakfast we’ve ever had- everything was fresh, local and homemade. It was so delicious I can’t put it into words. The roof terrace was beautiful and had views over the sea. The rooms was lovely too. Also, the service is impeccable due to it being family run and the staff were always on hand for recommendations. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Polignano.

This property is something special. You can tell that it is family run and a labour of love. They are so helpful and the breakfasts are truly insane. A huge spread of homemade sweet and savoury food.
We had the room with the hot tub, which was lovely.

Just perfect!!!

These rooms were great, everything we needed was provided for and the location is unbeatable. The breakfasts are amazing. Carola and her dad are very friendly and approachable. We did have a slight issue with noise as our bedroom is right above a bar and one night was a bit rowdy, but the other 2 nights were much quieter. This is a great place and will highly recommend staying here. Thank you Carola for a fantastic stay and all your wonderful recommendations.

Perfectly located hotel with wow factor

Our stay was brilliant. The room was small but well equipped with modern and functional equipment, a well stocked mini bar, good air conditioning, and a good shower. The things that made the hotel stand out were the roof terrace and the incredible breakfast provided within the cost of the room. There was a full freshly cooked buffet with meats, cheeses, quiche and some brilliant cakes and pastries. The roof terrace has great 360° views of the sea and the rest of Polignano, with a jacuzzi, sunbeds, a shaded seating area and a shower for cooling off when it gets too hot. Due to the hotel being quite small it was empty when we used it. The staff were also brilliant, with perfect English, and very helpful with every request we had. The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of the old town less than 5 mins walk from anything you’d want to visit within Polignano. Overall, pretty faultless.

La posizione è strategica, nel cuore del centro storico e a pochi passi dalle suggestive terrazze sul mare.
La colazione è un vero punto di forza: ricca, varia e con un tocco autentico. Ogni mattina ci ha deliziati con prodotti tipici locali, dolci fatti in casa, frutta fresca e prelibatezze preparate da un’eccellente cuoca, che unisce gusto e tradizione con un’attenzione rara ai dettagli.

Der Aufenthalt war von Anfang bis Ende top! Wir haben im Vorfeld eine Mail bezüglich Parkmöglichkeiten geschickt. Es wurde für uns ein Parkplatz reserviert und es gab einen Shuttleservice vom Parkplatz bis zum Eingang der Altstadt und zurück. Von dort wurden wir abgeholt und unser Gepäck wurde bis ins Zimmer gebracht.
Das Zimmer ist wirklich außergewöhnlich! Schön, neu renoviert und eingerichtet, authentisch und gemütlich, alles ist gut durchdacht.
Das Frühstück war sensationell gut und auch der Kaffee sehr lecker! Carola hat uns von Anfang bis Ende gut betreut, mit Tipps versorgt und uns umsorgt! Wir würden sofort wieder hierherkommen und diese Unterkunft jederzeit an Freunde und Familie weiterempfehlen!

Ar-condicionado meio estranho!

Hotel bem localizado. Tive um problema com o ar-condicionado que achei um pouco estranho. Fiquei apenas uma noite no hotel. Após fazer o checkin, fui para o quarto e liguei o ar-condicionado. Estava quente e a temperatura do quarto não esfriava, demorou muito, somente bem mais tarde quando fui dormir a temperatura baixou e ficou agradável, No dia seguinte, às 08:00 da manhã o ar-condicionado parou de funcionar. Tentei religá-lo através do painel de controle do quarto, mas o painel parecia ser apenas um enfeite, pois não comandava nada. Não cheguei a acionar o staff do hotel para verificar o problema de imediato, pois eu não ia demorar a fazer o checkout. Somente ao fazer o checkout comuniquei que o ar-condicionado havia parado de funcionar às 08:00, como se estivesse programado para desligar. O proprietário do hotel então pegou o celular para verificar o funcionamento do ar-condicionado através de um app via wifi. Assim, acabei ficando com a impressão de que existe uma interferência do proprietário no controle do ar-condicionado.

Great place to stay, The Staff is fully committed to making you have the best possible time during your stay. Breakfast options are delicious and vary almost every day. It's in the middle of everything yet very quiet inside since the rooms don´t face the main street. Rooms amenities and decorations are all you need for a perfect stay. You can park close by for 20 euros a night which we recommend, also they help you transfer with luggage when you arrive and leave.

Per Quintessenza Luxury Domus credo si debba ricorrere al superlativo assoluto: magnificentissima !!
Completamente rapita dalla bellezza della Puglia e dalla cortesia dimostrataci dal Sig.re Nunzio, proprietario del Quintessenza.
Ubicata nel centro storico di Polignano, questa dimora di recente ristrutturazione, ti fa sentire come a casa.
Ti accoglie con le sue mura bianche, con la pulizia delle camere che profumano di buono, con il bagno dall’avveniristica doccia con led multicolori e radio, con la morbidezza delle sue lenzuola, con la comodità del letto, con la vista dei tetti di Polignano, con il profumo del mare che entra al mattino dal balconcino, con il profumo della ricca colazione al primo mattino, con la vista dell’imbrunire dalla terrazza arredata con sdraio e jacuzzi.
Sentirsi coccolati, assaporando al mattino le prelibatezze preparate per rendere il soggiorno unico ed iniziare la giornata in pace col mondo.
Torte salate e dolci, formaggi strepitosi serviti con una lacrima di olio pugliese e pepe, brioche appena sfornate, frutta bio, fichi appena colti , salumi …. pane, marmellata, ogni mattina cose diverse.
Una chicca, oltre al parcheggio riservato, il transfer dal suddetto alla struttura , in risciò elettrico sia all’andata che al ritorno.
E poi dulcis in fundo, la pacatezza e la disponibilità del proprietario , che dimostra di amare la propria struttura al punto dal condividere questo suo amore con gli ospiti facendoli sentire a casa!
