We stayed again after a week in Tuscany and again found the staff super friendly and helpful. It is a short distance from the airport so very convenient. The beach nearby is a plus.

Pepe and Fabio were very welcoming hosts.
Easy parking on site.
Room clean and tidy, although did have some trouble with the vacuum outlet making noises through the night.
Easy access into the town and to Baeia.
Breakfast was plentiful, good coffee too.
Check in / out nice and easy.
I would definitely stay again.

My Wife and I stayed at Villa Louisa for a short city break, we used it as a base to explore Naples. We arrived around 22:30 on a Tuesday night. The local pizzeria had just closed and we were very hungry after our travels. The evening desk man was incredibly kind. He snuck out into the kitchen and made us sandwiches and gave us drinks, he couldn't speak English....and we couldn't speak Italian, but we had a lovely time with him for the 30 mins before we headed off to our room. Such a kind man. This was out 1st introduction to anyone there and the theme continued, everyone was so nice and welcoming. There was another man on reception the next evening and his English was amazing (he lived in London at one point) and we had a good chat with him too, funny guy! The room was clean and tidy, the maids did a great job. The decor and finish was as we expected, its not ultra modern, but its very Italian in style, its just as we imagined which was nice. We didn't use the spa facilities as we were too busy exploring the region, there is a train/tram line 100 metres from the hotel that you can use to head all around Naples for only a few Euros per day. Overall a great little break and a very nice and hospitable place to stay. Thank you.

Great room, comfy beds, lovely view, superb breakfast, mega friendly staff, excellent location, incredibly easy access to beach and public transport to get you about - especially for trips to other seaside towns like Pozzuoli and Ischia

I could go on but won’t! Basically, you won’t regret staying here. The car park was a great addition and the staff were experts in putting cars into small spaces!

We loved every second of it.

Thoroughly recommended to all.

Highly recommend!

My room was on the top floor facing the sea. It was amazing to see, and the beach is across the street. Not a lot of restaurant options nearby walking distance but the one I went to was very good. The hotel staff was amazing. Super friendly, attentive, and fluent in English. The place also had a gym and spa with saunas, two small pools and even a Himalayan salt room. The breakfast also had a lot of options with fresh pastries. What a wonderful fearful experience it was! Thank you!

Great hotel to go and just relax and unwind. Locals town, a few great restaurants around. more options a 5-10 min drive away. Perfect place to stay if visiting Napoli. Close drive/metro ride to Naples but far enough away from the chaos of Naples. Easy to day trip to Pompeii and Amalfi coast and not cost as much. Beach access is across the street. Great views off terrace. Perfect place to experience a true \"local italian\" beach vacation

Absolutely loved our stay here. The staff went above and beyond to give us local area information. The hotel was excellent value for money with a lovely breakfast being available each day. There were areas which weren’t luxury or perfect such as the traffic noise and the rooms being a little tired in places but for the value provided here we found it exceptional.

Too far from Naples. I asked the receptionist to look for a place in or near Naples. I was shocked when I arrived and discovered that it was about 50 miles from my hotel. I paid a lot for traveling fees. I am disappointed with Hotel.com.

Lovely, helpful staff. Pristine condition. Great breakfast. Convenient to our activities. Did request a twin room with a sea view, got a king which meant my 15 yo and I had to share the king bed. Not the end of the world, twins would have been nicer.

A lovely little hotel

The hotel was good. Staff were friendly and excellent, and the breakfast selection was good - some cooked, cereals, pastries, toast, yoghurt etc. and coffee. The rooms were a little tired and certainly not luxury - but they were clean and pleasant enough. The gym room was small but sufficient, and the spa was small but for the size of hotel it was sufficient - though only open 5-10pm on weekdays which was a little disappointing. The area around the hotel is a little run down, and only has a few restaurants - but if you are looking for a quiet retreat then it is a nice quaint place - and the nearby lake has a lovely walk around it. The train station is very close and tickets to Naples are only 2.20 each way into Montesanto Station - and I highly recommended to spend some time in this buzzy and vibrant city. There are also some good restaurants at nearby Pozzuoli (3 stops on the train). We had a lovely stay, albeit a little disappointed there was not more bars/nightlife nearer the hotel.

Would return without hesitation.

This was a great place to stay. The location and staff were both excellent. I am an avid runner and it was amazing running around the lago d'averno and seeing the temple of Apollo next to rolling hills of vineyards. Both the train station and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The rooms and spa were in excellent condition.

Nice accommodation for an affordable price. Walking distance to the beach. The hotel provides you with a daily pass which gives you the chairs...you have to pay just 5 euros for the umbrella. Walking distance to bars and restaurants. Friendly staff, they speak English....

Very nice hotel about 40 mins away from central Naples . The staff was very helpful . The breakfast was great every morning. The area doesn’t see many English speakers so it took a day or two to get use too how to get around . Train is across the street and works great . We had a great vacation, it was nice hotel to get away from busy Naples proper .

Fantastic hotel in a great location and the staff are friendly. We landed in Naples airport in the morning and decided to take the airport bus and train to the hotel. It was much cheaper than taking a taxi but just do a bit of research before hand. The hotel facilities are great, clean rooms with much needed air-conditioning, lovely little spa which was a welcome treat after a day sightseeing in Naples and the hotel offers an amazing breakfast. The hotel is positioned opposite a beach but we took advantage of free use of a private beach club nearby (ask at the reception desk for the pass). There is also a great, cheap train service from the nearby station Lucrino, only a five minute walk away, which we used to explore Naples and Pompeii. However, there is a great lake walk near the hotel complete with Roman ruins and other great things to do.

The Hotel was fine adequate. Its very difficult to get to from Naples. Says there is a train nearby but getting from Napoli Central train station to any train station near the hotel would be difficult. The area doesn't have a whole lot of easily accessible (walking distance) activities. If you like to wind sail or scuba dive there is a lot of that available. The area doesn't have a lot of English speaking Italians (which isn't bad unless like us your Italian is limited too). The roof top view of the sea that the photos boast was closed by an old mattress. I would not visit the area of Pozzouli again and would not recommend it. The hotel again was fine and helpful just felt out of place and unwanted in the area.

Our stay was pleasant mostly because of the wonderful staff at VillaLuisa. Also the train station was across the street and easily took us into Naples. The hotel could use a little updating especially as our bathroom door would not close. Otherwise, we would likely stay again if in the area.

Hotel with Italian Character

We liked it. We were there with friends and we really enjoyed our stay. Train station is minutes away which you can take to centre of Pozzuoli to take a ferry to near by islands (10 minutes) or you can go all the way to central Naples for ferries that go to Islands or even Amalfi coast if you prefer it on driving.
We hired a 9 seater car and drove to Sorrento, Posatino and Amalfi. We drove through the mountain route, it was amazing and the weather in late October was surprisingly great. The first few days it was worm enough or swim in the sea and outdoor pool!!
Food is great in general but not cheap. Check with the restaurant, some may charge table service of 20 euros which is silly.

Close to Train line.

I booked this for my wife's 60th birthday and we really enjoyed our week's stay. The train is a few minutes walk away and train tickets so cheap. One euro 20 cent to go into Pozzuoli (single) Two euros 30 cent to go into Naples (30 mins on train). We also went to Sorrento three different trains but one way seven euro 40 cent. (Naples to Sorrento about 75 minutes on train). You can get off at Pompeii on this train if you choose.
The staff were really nice and friendly.

Excellent location for local train travel and visiting the Islands of Ischia and Procida. Any naturalists will enjoy walking around the rim of an extant volcano at nearby' Oasi Di Montenuovo.'. Excellent breakfast, clean rooms and friendly staff.

Stayed for 10 days. Took the metro across the street to Napoli centre. Amazing beach close by (Bocoli) staff very helpful. Breakfast every morning complimentary Full breakfadt board offerred. 12 days of great food and things to do

The room we were given was comfortable. Nice view of the Bay and it's castle. Nice terrace.
The gym lacked a decent mat, and modern equipt., but was usable.
the spa was great, until more than 6 patrons joined in. Might need more frequent cleaning; steam and sauna and pool.

The staff was great. They were genuinely helpful in attending our every need. Great people.

Fabulous Friendly Hotel

We travelled to Italy for a family wedding and chose the Villa Luisa for location to Naples and Bacoli. This was the best choice we made the hotel is excellent as a base to travel around the area and is close to all public transport, The spa facility is very good, safe parking in closed gates, continental breakfast was fresh daily with plenty of choice. Hotel staff very helpful on any aspect or request. Room has kettle, fridge, hairdryer, safe and air con. The sun terrace gives fabulous views of Capri and all around the bay of Pozzuoli. A few doors down is a gem of an eatery fabulous food a place that the locals use so you know it will be good Lucrino Trattoria lovely food lovely people.
We would book this hotel again without hesitation

Very nice hotel

Lucrino might not be everybody's choice of resort but it is a nice little town, on the train line into Naples and with much interest in the area of Campo Fleigri. The Hotel Villa Luisa is a gem - much nicer than expected. The spa area has two saunas, a steam room, ice room, and indoor pool (very small) with jacuzzi jets. The breakfasts are only okay and always the same stuff.

The staff was great. They have free parking for guests. Free internet. The Spa is superb. The public beach across the street is dirty and junky. However you are within very short walking distance to much cleaner ones. The breakfast was excellent and very good restaurants all over. The pizza place two doors down is fantastic! I will definitely stay here again

5 Night Family Break

A great little hotel, ideal location to explore the Gulf of Naples (Baia, Cuma, Pozzuoli, Naples, Pompeii, etc).

The hotel is located next to a heavily used road and traffic noise only subsides between 00:00 and 05:00, the neighbouring apartment block means the traffic noise reverberates which doesn't help. However we slept with our balcony door always open so we could have helped ourselves.

The rooms are of a basic standard but very comfortable and clean, everything was in good working order.

The spa facilities are only available 17:00 - 22:00 and there isn't a restaurant to allow lunch or dinner within the hotel.

Breakfast buffet is of a good standard and available from 07:00 until 10:00.

Good Hotel-dont go to Naples in winter

The staff were nice, good breakfast and Italian cappuccino!!!!. I had sky TV to watch a few English channels. Hotel has a sauna but I did not use it. Walking distance to the local trains which goes to Naples every 20 to 40 minutes depending on the time of the day. It takes about 35 minutes. Initially the train looks and feels scary and unsafe but I had no problems going back & forth after the first day. Can not compare the European star rating to US hotels so always subtract one. The sea view is abstracted by other buildings but for the money it was worth it. I ate at a fish place about a mile away from the hotel going toward the city- excellent seafood and service. The restaurant next door however is also pretty good. I did not find Naples very interesting so if you want to go on vacation, pick a different city. It rained the entire time I stayed there. My encounter with Italian's were very pleasant, they were quite friendly and helpful. I would stay at this hotel again if I have to go to Naples.

Depends why you want to go!

A good hotel in a poor position. We were there for a wedding near the brides home and our stay was clean, comfortable and as we would expect from an Italian 4 star hotel.
However the surrounding place wasn't brilliant. To reach the beach was a quick walk across a very busy road full of Neapolitan drivers (they love to set pedestrians and other road users a challenge!) then under a graffiti-ridden tunnel. And then........I can't think I've been to a more dirty beach in my life and I live near Blackpool !!!
To sum up..........Nice Hotel.........Shame about the Place.

A nice place to stay

This is a very nice hotel with a helpful, English- speaking staff and off-the-street parking. The breakfast buffet included an excellent variety. The hotel is set back from a main street and it seemed quiet at night. The busy location, although not particularly attractive, is very convenient for exploring Naples (the local train station is just across the street)and the sites west of Naples.

Hotel molto pulito, spa piacevole, camere ok, struttura un po' da ristrutturare, check-in educato ma non molto accogliente, accappatoio e ciabatte non fornite dall'hotel (6eu per il noleggio) considerando che è un 4 stelle il servizio dovrebbe essere migliore.
