We enjoyed the location with the scenic view! The hotel customer service between the reception staff to room service was excellent and very helpful! Each time we needed assistance planning trips, taxis, and ferry, the staff was knowledgeable and offered their full attention which was very assuring to travelers like us! I also really appreciated the shuttle service and breakfast which made things super convenient and enjoyable! Ask staff for activity/tour tips, they are a source of great knowledge about the town!

This property was amazing! The staff made you feel like you were royalty and you wanted for nothing. Bed was comfortable. The view of the beach was awesome! They had a shuttle to take us back and forth to the city center. I couldnt have asked for a better stay!

WOW! The customer service at this hotel is the best I’ve ever experienced in my life. Special thanks to Katerina with all of the tips on things to do and for bending backwards to accommodate us during our trip! She always checked in on us and just made sure we had a great stay. The entire staff was just phenomenal. From changing our dinner in the dining room to room service MID MEAL because we got a work call, to printing out my husband‘s birthday concert tickets and putting them in an envelope, to giving him a birthday cake on his birthday, and a farewell dessert when we were leaving, to one of the ladies working there literally giving me the pen out of her hands to use. The service was so impeccable. I wish I could name each person there because they all deserve a raise.

The views on this place are absolutely stunning, and the Amalfi coast took my number one place in the world and a big reason was this amazing hotel. We travel for months of the year and I have never experienced anything like it.

If I had one thing to knit pick… It would be the Wi-Fi, which I’m guessing is just because we are literally on the coast, but working from the hotel was tough sometimes because the surface was spotty. But other than that, best time of my life!

Had an amazing stay at Relais Paradiso. The staff were excellent and very friendly and provided great service throughout my stay. The location was perfect with a beautiful view over the town of Vietri Sul Mare. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Vietri. Had no issues during my stay and will hopefully book this hotel again next time I come to the amalfi coast.

Me, my wife, and our daughter stayed at Paradiso Relais over the course of 6 days. We have enjoyed every minute of it! The location, the service, the staff, everything was amazing. We had a warm welcome the day we arrived, staff helped us with our luggage, and was curious about our plans for the stay and helped us with suggestions on how to get around the coast, what to see, and best locations. Room was always clean, in fact, sometimes it was cleaned twice a day (ie bed was made and towels changed). Breakfast had lots of options, we always found something to eat. The pool was great for our daughter, it is a decent size and great views of the coast. Because the hotel is small, it was always quiet and had lots of beds available. Overall, this hotel marked off a lot of things for us. It is very close to the city, which offers a nice authentic experience, not overcrowded with tourists, great beach, and lots of dining options. Hotel offers a shuttle to the city center a few times a day, which was so convenient!
We would like to say a special thank you to the staff- Katerina and Roman. Katerina is such a kind and thoughtful girl, helped us with any questions we had, and offered lots of suggestions. Also amazing with kids, our daughter adored her! Roman provided some excellent service at breakfasts and dinner, such a polite and caring young man. We would recommend this hotel, especially if you’re traveling to the coast with kids.

Loved our stay here! Vietri sul Mare is quieter than some of the other coastal towns. This hotel included a fabulous breakfast on the patio with a fantastic view. The staff were extremely helpful with questions about day trips and transportation. There was a shuttle that made four trips a day to/from the center of Vietri town, where we easily caught ferries to visit the other coastal towns. We also rented kayaks from the beach front and swam/explored the ocean at Vietri. Our room had a little soaking pool on the balcony which was great for cooling off at the end of the day. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was beautiful, but what made it so special was the staff. From the moment we arrived we were greeted and made to feel special and welcomed with open arms, and a freshly squeezed lemon drink. The dining dinner menu created by Chef Andre was exquisite. From appetizers to deserts and everything in between we were always amazed at the mouth watering taste's. Our server Mauro made the experience even more fantastic with his attention to details, his friendliness and knowledge and his ability to fully communicate in English was fabulous. He was also so helpful in helping me improve my Italian. We loved the dining experience so much that we simply chose this to be our regular dinner restaurant for our entire stay in the area. And then the entire concierge team was extraordinary in guiding us not only to local attractions, but also to our future destination stops in Italy. I can’t say enough about Carmelo who gave us so much information about our next stops with suggestions on must see towns, tours and restaurants. He is one of the most fascinating and friendly person you will ever meet with incredible knowledge of Italy. For an absolute fabulous stay in or around Salerno area I highly recommend the Relais Paradiso.

Super views from the balcony where breakfast was served .
Room was perfect , had a comfortable bed and great shower . Our large balcony / outdoor sitting area led directly to the main pool area .
Hotel provided a shuttle bus that could be booked to the local town , but it’s also walkable. The public bus also stopped right outside the hotel .
Dinner seemed expensive and lots of choice in the town so we didn’t eat in the hotel restaurant .
Would definitely stay again .

The hotel itself is not bad. Our first night we were very tired and did not feel like taking a taxi down to the town for dinner. We decided to get food at their restaurant. My wife ended up getting food poisoning. Next morning when I asked the front desk to please bring me down to the town because I need to go to a farmacia to grab medicine. He told me to walk it’s only 10 min walk. Yea right 30 min walk later I got to the town. If you don’t get a taxi back you are hiking up a mountain back to hotel. If you stay here do not eat at restaurant. Go downtown. ( waiter was friendly)

The restaurant menu is limited but very good quality, they could do with some snack options. The breakfast was excellent, much better than expected. There is no Coffee or Tea facilities in the room, and the swimming pool was out-of-order, which was a shame.

Check in was at 2pm and they said the pool was open until 10 but when we wanted to use it at 7 they said it closed at 6. One person in our group had a view of the pool from their room and there were people in the pool! Bathtub didn’t work, AC wasn’t good. Didn’t feel welcomed here and impression was it wasn’t worth the money or a 5 star hotel.

Don't pay the hotel upfront

I booked a room for five days. When we arrive the hotel charge does for all five days upfront. We decided to leave the hotel two days early to go to a different village. A hotel refused to return my money for the last two nights because I paid upfront. Warning do not pay them upfront if you decide to change the length of your stay.

We did find a Hotel comfortable and well appointed.

What bothered us the most was the lack of customer service and how unpleasant the staff was, as if the guests were an inconvenience. For the amount of stay we did here, it was disappointing!

And now to the horror of room 219!!!

Pros: best room view in the hotel in my opinion, right next to pool, awesome scenic view, big patio space.

Cons: A/C was not cooling the first night so we were relocated to a room with a wall view until maintenance replaced the motor the following day, long story short the room finally cooled down by day 3. The room smells like sewage, everyday and night it’s nauseating. The first night that we slept in a different room, it did not smell like sewage and the room was freezing cold. So I do believe it is an isolated issue.

Additional FYI’s: coffee is served at room temp (must ask to have hot), towels are not replaced when the room is turned over, parking is awesome, just park upfront and they will take care of the rest, walking distance to beach (a million steps but worth it) and restaurants,

The only 2 downsides of the hotel are the lack of coffee-making in the rooms (although it is available through room service) and the distance to the town. The free shuttle is a great option but only runs a few times a day. Overall, a great hotel.

Beautiful property in great location! And a perk that it includes valet parking! Rooms were very nice and rooftop pool was awesome! Only reason we didn't give it 5/5 is that the air conditioning didn't work in the room. We discussed it with the staff, but were told the a/c hadn't been turned on for the season yet. This was unfortunate as the room was very warm. We would stay here again, but only after ensuring the a/c was operating.

The hotel was nice and clean, 5 min away by driving from the main piazza in Vietri Sul Mare and another 5 min from the private beach. There was a bus stop right in front of the hotel for those who are not willing to drive. We had a fantastic view both from our room and the restaurant. The staff was absolutely great. They were quick to respond to all our requests, helped us to book our trips around Amalfi coast and they were calling to do reservations on our behalf. Thank you Francesco and Luka!

Had the most amazing stay and didn't want to leave. Staff couldn't have been more help. Having the roof top pool was a lovely bonus and breakfast set you up for the morning.

You do need a car if you are staying here. We didn't find an issue with parking. The staff were always really helpful in loving the cars into the garage out of the way until you were ready to head out.

We came to this hotel after we were sorely disappointed by the one we had booked in Sorrento. We loved the little town of Vietri sul Mare and the valet parking service was very helpful. Every member of the staff was very cordial and helpful and the dinner we had there was delicious and well priced. We basically had the entire pool to ourselves since it’s not peak season. The views are beautiful and it’s a quieter location than the rest of the Amalfi Coast. It was perfect to go to Paestum for a day trip and then to Positano and Amalfi/Ravello next.

The staff was extremely nice, the views from the terrace and the pool were fantastic, very cute small boutique hotel. Unfortunately it is in need of a facelift. The shower had mold, which should be unacceptable in a hotel listed as 5 stars. Definitely not a 5 star hotel, but not completely bad. Would not mind staying there again if the bathrooms had better maintenance.

I was very disappointed that I paid extra for a junior suite to have the jacuzzi on the patio just to find out that it was cold. Total waste of money for me. The staff was very nice, but we had a few simple requests that they said they would take care of, but never followed through with. They needed more help at the front desk to accomodate customers

Not a 5 star hotel

We booked a one night stay at this hotel while traveling through the Amalfi Coast. This hotel and their sister hotel, Hotel Raita, up the road, need major renovation and updating. The rooms are decorated in Art Deco style and they are stuck in the 80s. We did not stay at the real Paradiso because, the room was not clean, there was hair on the sheet and the shower, the safe didn’t work, the carpets in the hallways were dirty, the mirrors were dirty, the curtain was old and frayed. Worse than that, the girl at the reception was rude and repetitive. I had booked the room for 260 £ and she wanted to charge me an extra 150€ for upgrade to a bigger room because she had sold out my original room. We moved to Hotel Raita, where the view was definitely nice but the hotel needs major renovations, exterior and rooms.same terrible attitude, there was no manager on site to discuss any issues. Paid an additional 200€ on top of the original what I had paid because they only had the suites available. In the so called suite, the bathroom floor had dubious stains. The sheets were very poor quality and bed was extremely uncomfortable. WiFi sucked. There was a bow, of dusty potpourri probably from the 90s in the room. They listed this room as 700€
Total scam. Do not be fooled by 5 star, these two hotels are 2 or 3 star masquerading as 5 and overcharging, very disappointing.

Located conveniently just on the Amalfi coast but not in the midst of its summer crowds, this charming small hotel had everything needed for a pleasant stay - great facilities, helpful and considerate staff that set an example, great food (we ate in the restaurant 2 successive nights), and a hillside location overlooking the sea that was quiet, yet accessible for both Amalfi coast sites and convenient to Pompeii, Naples, etc. Strongly recommended on all counts.

SCAM, it's only a 2 star hotel; Way OVERPRICED.

Be aware that many of the pictures are not of the hotel, rather of a neighbor hotel. no SPA at all. the dining room is tiny and not as shown on pictures. no garden/patio to dine as shown on pictures. the rooms are 2 star hotel room. a complete misleading representation. Do not even try it...a big disappointment.
I got a room with an air-condition problem - it did not work; they knew about it and still gave me the room; could not sleep all night.
This Hotel is way over priced.

Everything great except all the aunts !

Everything about the hotel would be amazing except for the fact that our room had hundreds of aunts. Upon checking in there were aunts everywhere. We asked to move rooms and they said none were available. The next day after picking up pants from the floor that were swarming with aunts I inisted on a change of room and they found one.

This was my first trip to Europe and staying here did not disappoint. The room was beautiful. The staff was very pleasant and helped me with everything. The food at the hotel rivals, and at times, much better than the restaurants in the area. Don't let that stop you from eating elsewhere tho. Especially if you desire the views. You'll find many along the coast. Only negatives were.... TV and the roads. ( no sidewalks in town ) Don't rent a car and expect to navigate through traffic here. Either walk or take a cab. Would I come back? Yes! Would I recommend? Yes! I plan on visiting their Hotel affiliate in Rome on my next trip to Italy.

Rooms were clean and modern in design and was very nice although I am not sure it deserves a 5 star status, more like a 4 stars. All staff were great. Friendly, professional and courteous at all times and all spoke excellent English. We only ate in the restaurant once and the food was very good and prices were reasonable with a good wine selection. There's a courtesy shuttle bus to and from town which is a great touch as we wouldn't recommend walking those narrow cliff edge roads, especially in the dark which we did once and took our lives in our own hands!

Piece of paradise on the Amalfi Coast!

We loved our stay at Paradiso Relais. The view from the hotel are absolutely stunning. We were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our room which had a terrace that had direct access to the pool.

Great facilities and a a mangeable walk to nearby towns Vietri Sul Mare and Raito.

Beautiful view overlooking Vietri sul Mare

This hotel is beautiful, in location and design, overlooking Vietri sul Mare and the water. 15 minutes from Salerno, and at the southern edge of the Amalfi Coast. Staff is excellent - Claudia and Luigi were particularly helpful to us, helping with advice and arranging a day trip up the coast by boat. Close to the much larger Relais up the hill (where there is a small gym, excellent restaurant, and even better views). Parking on site. We'll be back.

Nice boutique hotel but being so small they only have a few staff on at a time so calling the front desk doesn't help you most of the time. Luckily our room was next to the lobby. Would have been nice if you could get any type of service at the pool. The wifi was not working for entire stay.

Luxurious Hotel

The hotel is one of the best we stayed in on the Amalfi coast. Nice pool area, very clean rooms and well appointed. Staff very friendly and helpful. The shuttle was efficient at the posted times. If you walk, the are no sidewalks - not a long walk into town but a tad treacherous - not to be done in the dark.

Lovely relaxing hotel in beautiful scenery

This is a great hotel that's perfect for a relaxing couples' break. The location is beautiful, and the hotel is walking distance to the town, provided you're careful on the roads. The rooms were pristine and the pool area was lovely. The staff were also very friendly. The only minor gripes we had were that the WiFi signal wasn't great, and the restaurant and room service were quite pricey, but there were an abundance of good quality restaurants close by, so no major issue there! Highly recommended!

Relais Pardiso

As with most Hotels along the Amalfi coast, the locations are seldom convenient and therefore you need to rely on Hotel Shuttle's or your own transportation. The Shuttle service was limited and I think they need to increase the frequency of the shuttle.

Hotel was clean, but we did have some ants in the room. No doubt because the hotel is literally built on the side of a hill.

Staff was friendly, food was expensive and not that great.

Very good small hotel

Although a short way out of the town of Vietri walking down is not advisable as the road is narrow and winding. The hotel has a minibus service so getting there is not a problem. It is a lovely quiet small hotel and the staff are very helpful. Breakfast is very good and plentiful, with cappuccino available if requested.

Lovely boutique hotel

I stayed in the hotel relais paradiso the last week in August 2015. My friend and I shared a twin room with direct access to the pool from our little terrace.

The hotel staff were very friendly and couldn't do more to help us. On 3 separate occasions we were brought fresh fruit to our sun loungers compliments of the hotel. By the end of the week they had memorised our breakfast coffees and had them on the table waiting for us by the time we had returned from the buffet.

Breakfast was the same each day but we didn't mind - there was plenty to choose from. Eggs, bacon, continental breakfast (various ham and cheese), boccocini, tomatoes, croissants, cakes, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, cereals, bread etc. You can sit out on the terrace with the lovely view of the sea and there is no rush, breakfast is served from about 7-10.30am.

We never ate lunch/dinner at the hotel so cannot comment on the rest of the food. It seemed a little pricey looking at the bar menu compared to what you can get in town but I do not doubt that it is of a very good quality.

The hotel has a fantastic view due to its situation on a hill slightly out of vietri itself. This meant a short 10min walk into town each evening but that was no real problem and on one occasion we caught the free shuttle back to the hotel after dinner.

There are plenty of little restaurants in town serving traditional Italian cuisine, we particularly liked Evu and the Sud Est and of course the gelateria.

The hotel was extremely clean, rooms were very comfortable and the staff were as helpful as possible considering there was no on site manager meaning that it was difficult to get decisions / adequate responses to queries or concerns. Breakfasts was the same every day and limited in choice. Considering the hotel is on the Amalfi Coast thd quality of produce was very low. There were no staff manning the pool bar meaning we had to go looking for them to order (very expensive) drinks. The pool turned swimming costumes and nails orange. This was broached with hotel staff by ourselves and a number of other guests. Staff did nothing to apologise. they would be better off marketing themselves as a four star (mid range) to avoid disappointment.

Nice hotel with some limitations

This hotel was comfortable with many of the facilities that we needed such as a restaurant with good food and a pool with pleasant views of the coast. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a good experience but there were a couple of things that prevented this from being a great experience, such as the pool bar not being staffed and therefore having to go down to the main reception in swimwear to order a drink.

Beautiful five star hotel

A small but beautiful hotel with breathtaking views of The Amalfi Coast. On arrival (55 mins from Naples airport) we were welcomed with cold soft drinks and fresh fruit laid on by the hotel manager who kindly upgraded our room to a larger suit as me & my husband had our 11 year old son with us. The room was gorgeous with a huge balcony with an amazing view.
The hotel is very quite, very relaxing and extremely clean. The menu we found expensive after ordering pool side drinks and snacks we decided not to order again ( 3 toasted cheese & ham sandwiches a vodka & orange 1 coke and a beer came to £55. The local town with lots of restaurants is just a short walk down hill from the hotel where we enjoyed lots of traditional Italian dishes and the best ice cream, at reasonable prices.
The hotel is just 20 mins cab ride from Pompi and just 10 mins cab ride to the port to which we got a ferry to Capri. Both Pompeii and Capri are both worth the visit. The hotel manager could not do enough to help us find our way around the area and helped us with guided tours and anything we needed. This hotel is definitely where you want to be at the end of the day to chill out with a glass of wine overlooking the amazing views after a long day out exploring beautiful Italy. I would definitely return.
