Consumption issue

I did not consume anything from the minibar. However, after checking, the housekeeping staff informed me that I had. Upon inspection, I noticed that the chocolate packaging had been opened, but the item itself was not consumed. Such deceptive behavior makes me unwilling to stay here again.

Close to the airport about 1,8km. Free airport pick up and drop off with orchard club benefit which is wonderful. Breakfast was great with a variety of options. The hotel is far from city center, so May be it is not a best choice if you prefer walkable location to downtown HCMC, but it’s very reasonable price for what you offer.

Whilst the hotel is somewhat out of the main centre, the free shuttle bus to the city made travel in very easy. The location enabled us to find some more out-of-the-way streets, with excellent and inexpensive eating options widely available. The pool was always clean, and staff ready with a clean towel. A really great stay!

This is 5 mins from the airport so perhaps is used to overnighters, but it was excellent nonetheless. Breakfast great, dinner very good with big menu, pool lovely, staff were very welcoming and helpful. You could actually stay here and jump on the regular shuttle bus to get to D1, if you wanted. Orchid rooms throw in a lot of extras.

A hidden gem

We stayed 2 Nights in the hotels Irchard Club deluxe rooms, the accomodation was really well kept and was specious and really comfortable. Unbeknown to us at the time of booking, this room type has lots of added extras like complimentary soft drinks all day, complimentary afternoon tea and complimentary cocktails and food after 6pm.

The service was excellent and staff were really friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a little bit outaide the main hub in Ho Chi Minh however this proved to be a god send because, aa anyone who has been will know, the closer the centre of town the more manic it is!

We alao used the spa services which again were excellent, with friendly staff

Thia hotel is a must stay place when in the city, a hidden gem

I didn't realize how far this was from the city. It's about 20 minutes by vespa, or 30-40 by car. The pool doesn't get any direct sunlight. The spa though is fantastic. Food at the hotel is very meh. Rooms are a bit outdated.

The pool is very public, backing onto the coffee-shop/restaurant, so we felt we couldn't use it, despite the heat.

Add-ons and upgrades were quoted in US$, but charged in VN dong. We don't operate in US$, so found this unnecessarily complicated.

Location was only 10 minutes to the airport. The upgrade that gave us cocktails and snacks the night before, and a transfer to the airport the next morning, worked perfectly for us.

Air-conditioning appeared to be preset - we couldn't reduce the temperature in our room, and found it hot to sleep.

Breakfast was fine, and our meal the night before at the restaurant was good too. An acceptable airport hotel.

Great staff but rundown hotel (closed lounge)

The hotel and staff are relatively friendly (helped me with fixing my luggage), however the hotel is really old (one of the elevator doesn't work properly anymore - in the right one, one doesn't need a key to go to any level, while in the other one one needs it). The rooms are clean and in general comfortable (but need a makeover). The food is really good and delicious.

The unexpected and disappointed aspect was that the Orchid Club lounge was closed and they moved it to the lobby which was not pleasant or inviting at all. I did not spend much time there, and felt betrayed in terms of it as this was highly recommended.

So overall, the hotel is good for its staff and food, but really rundown and needs a makeover.

there is no next time for me at ParkRoyal

This is my second time to stay at this hotel , first time was good ,second time was not so good . I reserved the hotel on the same day for the same rate ( including shuttle to the airport and breakfast ) when i checked in the room less bottle of water than first time ,i did call the desk they sent two bottles up ( room has no iron or iron board , they provided after i requested ) TV was not working ,i was too tired to call . Next morning , i had an early fly then i requested to have breakfast early they refused my requests ( breakfast start at 6 ) anyway , i was almost choked myself because i ate too fast ,the driver rushed me to go because other people waiting , seem to me there are rule but should make an exception sometimes ( i was not happen there) now i think twice to stay at PARKROYAL hotel ( my next trip to Japan ) well, thanks for reading my commend ,

The dining staff and the cafe were extremely good. The only downside which was the advertised prices for the prices for the dinning room was exclusive of the VAT. When I got my invoice for the meals I got a shock to see the VAT and some other additional charges.

Very well appointed rooms with a bed you could lose yourself in. Check in was excellent as were concierge. Food at the restaurant was very well done but the portions are large so be aware. Well equipped fitness centre and because the pool is in the atrium it remains cool and refreshing. Transferred to another hotel for a conference but beginning to regret that. While the hotel is out by the airport, the city centre is only a short cab ride away (depending on time of day). Enjoy

Close to airport, taking about 10 minutes transfer. Being in Ho Chi Minh, this is a big deal as a hotel a further 10km out could take an hour to drive to.

Hotel offers great service and the facilities are great. Staff are very friendly and really aim to please.

Overpriced for HCM standards

It's close to the airport so you can be there in less than 10 mins. Hotel reception desk was rather reluctant to be friendly and helpful. Rooms were decently lean and comfortable but hotel needs an upgrade, everything feels dated, especially for the price, you can get much more value for money options out there.
